STEP-II : Make PAYMENT and SUBMIT Application Payment of application fee has to be made through online payment gateway only. STEP-III : Take PRINT After final submission of your online application, you will be able to generate your online application printed with your specific details/data. This application printout may be retained with you for future requirement. Please note that you NEED NOT SEND the application by post. Your application will be considered on the basis of your final submission through online. You can check submission, shortlisting, selection and other application related status from Application Status menu. You should remember your login id and password for the same. N.B. The candidates shortlisted for test & interview will be informed through system generated email only. Their names may be notified in the webpage. However, candidates can see their status on portal by login and can download the Written Test/Interview letter, if shortlisted. Eligibiligy criteria for ll.b & ll.m. programs, eligibility for ll.b..

First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent.          OR First Class Masters Degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent.          OR First Class MBA Degree with any of the above If the degree awarding institute does not explicitly mention “First Class” then the eligibility will be a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale. The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks if the degree awarding institute provides marks in CGPA system. Then, the admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale other than 10.0, the eligibility of the candidate will be calculated corresponding to the equivalence stated above.

Mode of Selection

LLB students - The selection is strictly based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based test of 2 hours duration. The candidate needs to answer.... Each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries negative 0.25 marks .

Eligibility for LL.M.

LLM students - The selection is strictly based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based test of 2 hours duration. The candidate needs to answer....120 questions, out of which 75 questions are from the MBBS syllabi. The remaining questions are equally distributed to cover the syllabi of 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries negative 0.25 marks--> .

Note for MMST 2015: No counselling will be held for 2015 at IIT Kharagpur. Offer letter will be issued based on All India Rank in MMST 2015.

IIT Kharagpur opens applications for PhD, PG admissions for international students at iitkgp.ac.in

IIT Kharagpur will be accepting applications from international students till April 30, 2023. Students can check scholarships and placement details here.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP) has opened applications for international students that wish to seek admission in postgraduate (PG) and doctoral (PhD) programmes. Candidates interested in applying for the August semester 2023-24 can apply at official website- international.iitkgp.ac.in till April 30, 2023.

IIT Kharagpur will be offering 60 PG programmes in fields of engineering and technology, basic sciences, social sciences, humanities, law, entrepreneurship, management, and medicine. The institute has also opened admissions for over 50 doctoral programmes.

International students applying for admission at IIT KGP can also opt for financial aids and scholarships by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Study in India Scholarship Scheme. The institute also offers scholarship programmes funded by IITKGP alumni.

IIT Kharagpur offers placements assistance to its students with recruiters from various fields including IT, core engineering, finance, consulting, automobiles, PSUs among others. The I IT Kharagpur placements 2022 saw 48 offers in the CTC range of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2.64 crore per annum. Companies such as Airbus, Accenture Japan, Da Vinci Derivatives, Excel, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Squarepoint Capital, N K Securities, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, participated.

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) Kharagpur or IIT Kharagpur Law offers admission to  undergraduate  and  postgraduate programmes. Interested candidates must meet the IIT Kharagpur Law eligibility criteria and fill out the application form. IIT Kharagpur Law admission to LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes is done based on an All India Written Test followed by a personal interview.  However, the CLAT PG score is also accepted for IIT Kharagpur Law admission to the L.L.M programme. Scan and upload the required documents for the IIT Kharagpur Law application form.

Submit the application form by paying the IIT Kharagpur Law application fee.

IIT Kharagpur Law UG Admission

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law offers  L.L.B Hons. at the undergraduate level. The duration of IIT Kharagpur Law L.L.B (Hons.) is 3 years. For admission to the IIT Kharagpur Law UG programme, candidates should have passed graduation with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised university. 

IIT Kharagpur Law UG Course and Eligibility Criteria

For admission to UG courses, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

Candidates have to fill out the application form and pay the application fee.

Candidates must clear the All India Written Test which is divided into two parts- Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted in online mode.

However, the CBT will have a weightage of 70% and the PI will be given a weightage of 30%. The final selection will be based on total marks obtained in CBT and PI with weightage as mentioned.

For final selection, the personal interview is compulsory.

Later, admission is confirmed after verification of documents and payment of IIT Kharagpur Law admission fees.

IIT Kharagpur Law PG Admission

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law offers  LLM programme at the postgraduate level. The duration of the IIT Kharagpur Law L.L.M programme is 2 years. IIT Kharagpur Law eligibility criteria are that the candidates should hold an L.L.B degree of 5 years with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised university.
