The IGNOU grading table 2023 is a way for students to understand their grades based on IGNOU grade card percentage. It also reflects the qualitative level and point grade of IGNOU students.

The IGNOU grade card calculator is based on a chart that assists in grading students. The total scores of the students, according to the IGNOU percentage calculator, are total of 30% of the total points scored in the assignment and 70% of the total marks achieved in term-end exams. Students' grades are calculated using the IGNOU marks calculator based on their term end and practical marks.

Candidates can calculate the percentage of marks obtained by using this simple formula:

If a student gets 70 marks in term-end examinations, then the candidate will be awarded 49 marks.

If a student gets 30 marks in assignments, then the candidate will be awarded 9 marks.

So the total marks will end up being (49 + 9) = 58.

Now the students need to add marks of all the subjects and divide it by 1200, in order to get the percentage of marks.

Grading is used in some programs, such as PGDET, MBA(MP), B.Ed and MAEDU whereas marking is used in others. To assess its students, IGNOU uses both grading (A, B, C, D, E) and marking (60, 70 etc.) methods.

  • Identify the weightage : The grades in IGNOU Grade Card June 2023 are determined based on the weightage of Assignment Marks (30%) and Term End Theory Exam Marks (70%).
  • Example calculation : Let's consider a course/paper called BPCC-134. Suppose you scored 90 marks in the assignment and 80 marks in the theory test.
  • Calculate the assignment weightage : Multiply the assignment marks by 30%. In this case, 30% of 90 marks is 27.
  • Calculate the theory exam weightage : Multiply the theory exam marks by 70%. In this case, 70% of 80 marks is 56.
  • Add the marks : Add the assignment weightage and the theory exam weightage. In this case, 27 + 56 equals 83 marks.
  • Determine the percentage : The percentage for the BPCC-134 paper is 83%.
  • Repeat the process : Calculate the percentage for each paper in a similar manner, and then calculate your overall passing percentage.

Note : It is important to focus on scoring maximum marks in assignments, as they contribute significantly to your overall IGNOU grade card percentage.

The Grade Card provides information about the result and IGNOU grade card status of each Course Code (e.g., BESC 133, BCOS 132, BEGLA 138, etc.). When a row displays the status " COMPLETED, " it signifies that the learner has successfully finished that particular course code. Conversely, a row may have the status " NOT COMPLETED " due to various reasons, including:

IGNOU Assignment Status, Marks, and Result 2023 – Here, Students will get to know about the IGNOU Assignment Status for the most recent TEE sessions December 2023 and the previous June 2023. After taking admission to IGNOU University every student needs to get their Assignments from the nearest study centre or can download the same online from the IGNOU website. As per IGNOU Rules, all students have to compulsorily write their assignment which is given by the university and they have to solve it and submit it to the concerned study centre which is allotted to them. The Assignment must be submitted before the last or due date. If the last date of submission is passed then your assignment will be not accepted by the centre under any circumstances.

We want to inform all students that if you fail to submit your required assignment within a given time duration then you will be not permitted to attend the upcoming Term End Examination conducted by IGNOU. The assignments have a 30% weighted in your grade card while the Theory and Practical examination has a 70% weighted.

Therfore, we hope that the IGNOU RCs across the country has also begin to update the IGNOU Assignment Status and Marks Online for the most recent TEE session Dec 2023. Therefore, candidates are advised to do check their IGNOU Assignment status regularly to get their assignment marks and results online as soon as possible.

IGNOU assignment status or marks for TEE December 2023 is now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments go for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. You can get your Marks, Status, Grades, and Results of your Assignments from here. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

Things to Do after Submission of IGNOU Assignment

If you have submitted your Assignments to the IGNOU Study Centre then now is time for checking your marks and status online. After the submission of assignments, it goes to the evaluation department in which IGNOU evaluators start the evaluation of each assignment solution. If only a few days have passed then we advise all students that please check their Assignment Marks and Status after three or four weeks.

Who can find IGNOU Assignment Status from here?

The students of TEE December 2023, June 2023, December 2022, and June 2022 may check the status of their IGNOU Assignments from here. The submission of IGNOU Assignment for session December 2023 was already over so candidates can now regularly check the status to get to know whether their marks are updated in the grade card or not. We also want to inform our students that the assignment marks for Dec 2023 session also get updated with TEE Result Dec 2023 so students are advised to check their assignment marks by following the given procedure.

Note – IGNOU Assignment status may take some time to get updated online so candidates are requested to keep check their status regularly to find their assignment marks from here. In some cases, the study centre first evaluates the assignment, after evaluation, they send the marks to the regional centre and then the concerned authority at RC uploads the marks online which definitely takes some time.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

Assignments must be turned in to the study centers well before the Term-End Exam (TEE) for all IGNOU students who are taking open and distance learning courses . The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today extended the assignment submission date for IGNOU TEE December 2022. The new schedule for assignment submission of the term end examination has now been uploaded on the official IGNOU website — ignou.ac.in.

According to the new schedule, candidates now have time till October 31 to submit their assignments. To check the announcements, candidates have to first visit the official IGNOU website and then click on the notice link present under the ‘news and announcements’ header on the home page.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term-end-Examination, December-2022 has been further extended upto 31st October, 2022,” the official IGNOU notice stated.

In addition to this, the last date for online application of TEE December 2022 exam has also been revealed. Candidates now have time till October 31 to submit their online application forms. Candidates have to submit Rs 200 as the application fee, and the late fees is Rs 1100.

The varsity has also added that the university will try to accommodate the students in the examination centre opted by them. (In case, the sitting at the centre has exhausted, student may choose the nearest/alternate exam centre under the jurisdiction of the same Regional Centre). However, university has clarified that it has the right to shift the students from one exam centre to another exam centre due to Covid-19 Protocols or any other unavoidable reason.

d) Right to erasure (Right to be forgotten)

  • The personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services referred to in Article 8(1) of the GDPR.

If one of the aforementioned reasons applies, and a data subject wishes to request the erasure of personal data stored by the The Curriculum Foundation, he or she may, at any time, contact any employee of the controller. An employee of The Curriculum Foundation shall promptly ensure that the erasure request is complied with immediately.

  • The processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use instead.

Trademarks Online : Applications to file a Trademark or Service Mark registration can be submitted online through the California Secretary of State’s bizfile California portal, in person at the Sacramento office, or through the mail.  

Date received, which will establish priority for the application complying with applicable law, is determined in the following order: 

  • Applications received online through our website, TMbizfile.sos.ca.gov , which will be labeled received at the actual time and date received;
  • Applications received in person over the counter in Sacramento, which will be labeled received at the actual time and date received; and
  • Applications received by mail, which will be labeled as received at 5:00 p.m. on the date received.

  • The classification of goods and services are those adopted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office  and a single application for a trademark may include multiple classifications of goods and an application for a service mark may include multiple classifications of services. The fee is $70.00 per classification;
  • Applicants are required to state a declaration of accuracy that the material facts in the application are true. A willfully inaccurate statement is subject to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 to be enforced by a public prosecutor;
  • The applicant is required to state whether they previously sought to register the mark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and, if registration was refused, to disclose the reasons why it was refused at the federal level.

The Trademark Unit is also responsible for the registration of various other filings, such as container brands, which could be a name, mark or device impressed or produced on a container (California Business & Professions Code section 14425 ), laundry marks (California Business & Professions Code section 14480 ), and the names of farms, ranches, estates, or villas (California Business & Professions Code section 14460 ).
