  • Write it in a statement form
  • Mention the key points that differentiate your hero from others

It should have the suggested length. The body paragraphs can comprise 3-4 paragraphs depending upon your content. It should have complete details and mention the special features and attributes of the hero you selected. You can break down the body paragraph into different points. In one paragraph, you can explain the setting, background, life history of the superhero. In the other consecutive paragraphs, you should explain the special features and attributes.

For a compelling who’s your hero essay conclusion, you must sum up the essay. Write down all the points that tie the essay together. From the beginning to the end, everything in the essay should be conveyed in a gist. A good conclusion leaves a great impact on the mind of the reader.

Finalizing Essay

Once you have written down everything, now is the time to finalize your essay. Make sure to edit, proofread, revise and provide citations where necessary.

Essay Revision

Revise your essay. Read it out loud. When you read the essay, you will be able to find mistakes.

Essay Proofreading

Proofread the essay. Keep a check on the grammatical errors and typos. There should be no mistakes. Students who have tight deadlines tend to miss this part and are in a hurry to submit their work. This might show serious issues in the essay, which will reflect badly on your work.

Make Citations

Write down the references. While writing down the essay, if you have taken from different sources, then you should mention it. These citations and references show varied sources from where you have taken material for your essay. It also reflects your researching skills.

An essay on my hero example is as follows:

my-hero-example

For instance, your topic is ‘My father, my hero!’ Here is how you should begin writing your essay.

My father is a gem of a person. He knows how to take care of his family in times of distress. Apart from this, he is a great teacher, impacting the lives of millions of people. His noble ways of teaching and sharing knowledge make him a superhero not only for me but for all those people whose lives he touched.

My father had a small family. He was the only son of his parents. His parents loved him but were very strict. His childhood days were carefree, but he was a responsible kid, aware of his duty towards his parents. He would never disobey them. His love was unconditional for his parents, and he would go out of his way to serve them. Since he did not have his siblings to support him, he led quite a lonely life. He was a self-made man who struggled in his early years to make a name of himself. His teachers loved him for his honesty and intelligence.

As he grew up to be a man, he was loyal to his job and family. He left no stone unturned in serving his aging parents. He got married and had kids. His love continued to grow for his family. For the sake of our happiness, he would sacrifice his little acts of happiness. He would feel happy when we were happy. The students he taught learned acts of graciousness and nobility from him. They would yearn to be like him, striving in little ways to become a personality he would cherish. Simple acts of kindness made him a superhero. He became a hero in my eyes and in the lives of all those people he affected in one way or the other.

From the milkman to the newspaperman, every person would greet him with great respect. The respect he earned showed how loved and revered he was. His altruism, chivalry, and bravery were exhibited in daily activities. He was a man of integrity, values, and principles. All these things and a lot more made him different from other superheroes. He was neither a celebrity nor an action hero, but he was a great man of spirit who lived in people's hearts.

Allama Iqbal

My Favourite Personality Allama Iqbal Essay in English

Allama iqbal is my favourite personality.

Hero is man of outstanding character and matchless genius. He must be a man of unique qualities. though the Muslim History is full of great men, my hero in history is Allama Iqbal. I think, he is really a man worthly of the title ‘Hero’.

Allama Iqbal  was born in Sialkot in 1877.  He came to Lahore for learning after completing his primary education.  At that time the English were the rules of India. They were very cunning. They did not like the Muslims. They tried their best to keep the Muslims backward and ignorant. Iqbal, who was a great well-wisher of the Muslims, tried to awaken the Muslims from their sleep of ignorance through his poetry. He wrote a number of poems and verses to make the Muslims realize their negligence. He taught them a lesson of ‘self-esteem’. He made them realize the achievements of their forefathers. He wrote many letters to the Qauid-e-Azam to urge him to work for his nation.

In the session of Muslim League at Illahabad in 1930, he suggested the solution to the discontent of India. He showed a sure way of peace and happiness for the people living in India. Iqbal’s speech demonstrates his concern for his nation. He said that the Muslims were different in their religious, beliefs and traditions from the other nations living in the sub-continent . He said that the concept of nationality of the Muslims is quite different from those of other nations of the world. He said that India be divided into two nation states. The territories of the Muslims majority should be made a new Muslim state.

Iqbal was a great Muslim poet. His poetry was aimed at teaching the Muslims what they had forgotten. It was a lesson of their golden traditions and matchless achievements. He wrote his poetry urging the Muslims to break the slavery chain. His poetry is a permanent source of joy and inspiration for the Muslims. It is full of national feeling and sentiments.

Iqbal’s poetry places him in the sky of immortal fame high among the stars. he wrote poetry both in Urdu and Persian. Many reference to the Holy Quraan can be found in his poetry. Some critics go even to the extent that his poetry is the true explanation of the Holy Quraan. It elevates us spiritually and morally.

In this age when the Muslims are being insulted and crushed throughout the world, it is necessary that we should get guidance and inspirational from his poetry. If we study his poetry and follow his advice, we will surely regain our lost glory. His poetry is not for one time. It is for everyone and for every age. What a perfect code of ethics and morality his poetry is! May the Muslims of today read his poetry and get an urge to gain their golden past. Aameen!

Essay on My Favourite Personality (M Ali Jinnah)

Essay on muhammad ali jinnah.

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ew people can change the course of history. Fewer still can alter the map of the world. The reason is that such dramatic reversals of fortune are always subjected to big obstacles and high risks. But the work of a great leader is to turn a weakness into strength, obstacles into stepping-stones, and risks into inspiration and triumph. The Quaid-e-Azam did the same for the Muslims of British India and got them liberated from the yoke of subjection. Having laid the foundation of the biggest Muslim state in the world, he verily changed the map of the world and altered the course of history and thus became one of the greatest political leaders and statesmen the Indo Pakistan Muslims ever had.[the_ad id=”17141″]

“He was a man, take him for all in all. I shall not look upon his like again.” Shakespeare, Hamlet
“Think a hundred times before you take a decision, but once a decision is taken, stand by it as one man.” The Quaid, speech 1938 at Aligarh University.

So the Quaid-i-Azam is my favorite hero and leader in history. I love and esteem the Quaid for many reasons. Firstly, the Quaid was very wise and sagacious. This was the reason that he pressed his claim for a separate Muslim homeland in a very successful and amazing manner. Rather, he inflicted a bitter intellectual defeat on both the Hindus and the Britishers. Secondly, the Quaid had the fabulous determination and strong willpower. Though overwork reduced Quaid to physical wreck, his passion to win freedom for his nation remained undefeated. He kept crossing swords with the Britishers and the Hindu leaders for the achievement of an independent state. He knew that he was suffering from a serious disease, but he refused to take any rest or respite. For him, death had virtually become a trivial consideration for the accomplishment of his noble mission. He was fully aware of the fact that he was the only Muslim leader who could win liberty for the Muslims of India, who were passing through the most difficult period of their history.

“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” New Testament

Thirdly, Quaids personality had a lot of Charisma. He was loved and honored by the Muslims of the subcontinent very much. People used to come on foot from distant places to have a look at their leader. He had got tremendous power to inspire and motivate the people of his nation. Fourthly, he was a great orator. His speeches and statements inspired the masses a lot and made them. supremely conscious of their high destiny. His speeches depicted a clear vision what sort of state Pakistan would be. He had the capability to warm the hearts of the public by his eloquent and stirring speeches.

Fourthly, the Quaid was an extremely devoted and committed leader. He sacrificed his sleep, rest and leisure, and even health for the accomplishment of his noble cause. Even in serious illness, he embarked upon ceaseless traveling, kept long hours of working, and never bothered to protect himself from wind and weather. This physically weak leader made untiring efforts to consolidate his shattered nation and unite them on one political platform.

His was a sou thirsted for service in a body that was worn out by over work and ill health. G. Allana
“But screw.you courage to the sticking place And well not fail.” Shakespeare, “Macbeth.

Fifthly, the Quaid was an extremely courageous leader. When, on 5th August 1947, Lord Mountbatten informed the Quaid that the Hindu and Sikh leaders were conspiring to assassinate him during the state drive, this great leader remained unmoved and declared that the state drive would take place at any cost. During freedom movement, the British government wanted to arrest him and the mighty revolution was staring him in the face, he remained fearless and calm. He never showed any worry and care about his personal safety and protection.[the_ad id=”17142″]

Sixthly, the Quaid was thoroughly an honest and fair leader. Addressing to the first constituent assembly of Pakistan he said,

“I will remain above prejudice or ill-will, partiality or favouritism. I shall always be guided by the principles of justice and fair play.”

He was totally against social evils such as corruption, black marketing, nepotism, and jobbery. He called them noxious evils and wanted to crush them down with an iron hand.

Seventhly, the Quaid believed in tolerance and equality. He categorically declared that no discriminations would be made on the basis of caste, color, and creed in the state of Pakistan. The following words of the Quaid clearly, show that he was a great champion of human rights.

You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any places of worship in the state of Pakistan.

So his wisdom, determination, matchless leadership, brilliant oratory, extreme devotion, tremendous courage, and total honesty teamed up to make him the most lovable and the most revered personality of British India.

“Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the recipient of devotion and loyalty seldom accorded to a man.” Truman, President of the United States.
“Jinnah is the only Muslim in India to whom the community had a right to look up for safe guidance.” Allama Iqbal

This great leader was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876. His father Poonja Jinnah was a businessman of average financial status. The Quaid, during his school career, clearly reflected his future greatness and glory. He was, therefore, after his Matriculation, sent to England o study law. Returning to India in 1896, he began to practice in Karachi. But he could not do well. He left Karachi and went to Bombay to try his luck. At the same time, he began to take interest in politics. He made his debut in Indian politics in 1906 by joining the Congress. But soon he left it on seeing the evil designs of the Hindus. Then he joined the Muslim League and became its leader.[the_ad id=”17150″]

Quaid-i-Azams honesty, integrity, and argumentative skill were appreciated even by the Hindus and the Britishers. Reason and logic always governed his personal and political life. He never used underhand means in politics. He always based his thought and action on realistic principles.

“My boy; morality in politics is even more important than in private life, because if you do something wrong in public life you hurt far more people who depend on you.” The Quaid-e-Azam.

It was due to his firmness of character, extreme devotion, deep sincerity, and un-purchasable stance that he was able to snatch freedom from the unwilling hands of the Hindus and the Britishers. Where Pakistan was concerned he knew no compromise. If he had compromised, there would have been no Pakistan on the map of the world.

My hero in history essay for students of 2nd year with PDF book. This is outstanding essay for outstanding students. 1000 Words My Hero in History Essay. My Hero in History Essay is very much important from Examination Point of View. Download this Essay in PDF form at the bottom of Page. You can also write this essay when you are asked to write about your favorite personality, favorite hero etc.

My Hero in History Essay

A hero is a person volunteering one’s time to help those in need, whether for a person, an organization, or a community. Taking acts with no expectation of remuneration or external advantage. Acceptance and recognition of the probable danger or sacrifice. A hero is someone who gives of himself, often at considerable danger to his own life, for the greater welfare of others.

There have been several historical personalities who stood head and shoulders above their contemporaries. They have changed the direction of a nation, rewritten history, and many have even influenced our current way of life in innovative ways. There have been many outstanding Muslim leaders throughout history, but Imam Ali stands out as the shining star in his constellation.

Place of Birth

Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA) was the Islamic prophet Muhammad’s cousin, son-in-law, and friend who ruled as the fourth caliph from 656 until his assassination in 661. He is a pivotal person in Shia Islam, and Shia Muslims see him as the legitimate direct successor to Muhammad as an Imam. Ali was born to Abu Talib and Fatimah bint Asad within the Kaaba in Mecca, Islam’s holiest site. Under Muhammad’s supervision, he was the first male to join Islam. Ali defended Muhammad from a young age and participated in practically every conflict fought by the embryonic Muslim community.

He was quite generous. Despite eventually becoming the leader of Muslims, Muhammad never desired to accumulate goods and lived a humble life. He was always modest and grateful to the Almighty for all the benefits He bestowed upon him. He consistently assisted the underprivileged by donating his fortune to charity. Not only was he a Sahabi, but he also looked to be a brilliant visionary scholar. ‘He lived his life according to Islamic principles and helped humankind.’ He will never give up his support for Islam’s fundamental institutions. Being fair is another feature of his that makes him a role model for all of us, such as how he treated Muslims and non-Muslims equally. He promoted peace, love, and the advancement of humankind. His service to Islam was exceptional, and he was Islam’s greatest gift.

Achievements

Hazrat Ali (RA) was a brilliant caliph and a wonderful friend of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He has several accomplishments and heroic actions to his credit. Some are explained in the following paragraphs: –

  • Hazrat Ali (RA) was completely aware of all of Holy Prophet Muhammad’s courageous actions (SAW). When the Holy Prophet declared himself to be a prophet, Hazrat Ali (RA) attested to His claim and accepted Islam. He was the first Muslim kid in Islamic history.
  • The fourth caliph (RA) fought multiple wars against Islam’s foes. He fought all of these fights valiantly. In Jang-e-Badar, the caliph assassinated Waleed Bin Utah (battle of Badar). He also assassinated the well-known Jewish wrestler “Umaro Bin Abdud” at Jang-e-Khandaq (Trench Battle).
  • Hazrat Ali (RA) remained a distinguished member of Islam’s previous caliphs’ advisory committee. In all areas, his counsel was taken seriously.
  • During his reign, the fourth caliph (RA) observed the laws and restrictions established by the second caliph, Hazrat Umar (RA). He despised notoriety and used to disregard celebrity’s efforts. With his distinct approach, the fourth caliph promoted democracy. He always regarded the government treasury as public property and used it wisely for the general good. Nobody ever showed favoritism to the fourth caliph.

Police Department Reforms

The fourth caliph expanded his army and built various cantonments for it. He also boosted the number of police officers and implemented several changes in the police force. These cops were known as Ashurta, and their commander was known as Sahib-e-Ashurta. The Ashurtas were tasked with preserving law and order, investigating and controlling crimes, and ensuring the security of trade hubs.

Hazrat Ali’s bravery (RA)

Hazrat Ali (RA) enjoys the distinction of taking part in all Ghazwat ceremonies (battles). Ghazwat denotes “the war in which the Holy Prophet (SAW) personally participated.” Some of his daring deeds are described in the following paragraphs: –

  • Battle of Badar

During every adversity, Hazrat Ali (RA) stood shoulder to shoulder with Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He took part in several Ghazwat (battles) and shown his bravery and commitment to the Holy Prophet (SAW). The Holy Prophet (SAW) chose three brave companions from the Bani Hashim clan for the Fight of Badar (the first battle of Islam). Hazrat Ali (RA) was chosen for the battle of Badar with Hazrat Hamza (RA) and Hazrat Obaida (RA). In this battle, he slew Islam’s most infamous foe, Waleed, in an instant.

  • Battle of Ohad

The Muslims seemed to have vanquished Ohad in the first phase of the fight. During this fight, the Holy Prophet (SAW) was injured. During the struggle, Hazrat Ali (RA) cared after Him. He administered first assistance to the Holy Prophet (SAW).

  • Battle of Khyber

Nonbelievers have traditionally occupied the Khyber fort. Before the battle of Khyber, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) assured the companions that He would pass up the fort’s flag to a valiant companion the next day. The following day, Hazrat Ali (RA) fought valiantly and overcame the Khyber fort. After the victorious fight, he seized the flag of Khyber fort from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Change of capital

The capital of Islamic nations was relocated from Madina to Kofa by Hazrat Ali (RA). This decision was made to facilitate the execution of administrative directives. However, some disloyal persons caused issues for his government there. As a result, the difference amongst Muslims began from there. Muslims were separated into several factions. These issues were properly solved by Hazrat Ali (RA).

All of Hazrat Ali’s traits motivate me, including honesty, patience, assisting everyone, being giving and kind to others, and being grateful to Allah for everything He has blessed us with. I will undoubtedly incorporate all of these characteristics into my everyday life in order to live a virtuous life like the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and Hazrat Ali (A.S).

English Summary

My Favourite Hero Essay

L.B Shastri did not hail from any aristocratic or rich family. He belonged to the class of people without pedigree. Rather he had a humble origin. He rose from the ranks. He got enrolled himself as a humble worker of the Congress Party and participated actively in the freedom struggle.

His selfless service to the cause of the country enabled him to climb the ladder of popularity. In the post-independence period, he served on the U.P. and central government as a minister. Finally, he came to head the central government in 1964.

Lal Bahadur Shastri had great respect for moral and spiritual values. He always kept the national interests above his personal interests. Rather he had no personal interests at all. He led a life of simplicity. He was a true Gandhian. No temptation could lure him away from his chosen path.

Unlike others he had no love for money and power. He strictly adhered to the politics of principles. He had firm faith in ‘work-ethics. He might not have tall physical stature but his political stature was too tall to be equalled by any Prime Minister of India.

He did not put on the mask of secularism and socialism as was done by Pt. Nehru nor was he ambitious like the latter. He did not induct any of his sons in the party or the government on any responsible post. In fact, he was opposed to the concept of dynastic rule. He believed in fair-play and justice.

Lal Bahadur Shastri was the Railway Minister when a terrible railway accident took place in Ambala. Shastriji owned the moral responsibility for the accident and resigned from the ministry. He set the example for others to follow. But these days morality has taken a nose-dive.

Since the death of Shastriji hundreds of railway, accidents have taken place but no minister has ever resigned on moral grounds. Scandal after scandal has come to limelight, involving even Prime Ministers like Rajiv Gandhi and P.V. Narasimha Rao, but neither of them had resigned on moral ground. Indian polity is certainly lacking in conscience-keepers.

Lal Bahadur Shastri did not like a life of pomp and show. His household duties were performed by his wife who was equally simple. He sent his sons not to academies but to the schools where the sons of the poor got the education.

He had a good rapport with the people. He listened to their demands and tried to redress their genuine grievances. He was never arrogant because he did not allow power to get into his head.

Shastriji was a practical man. He did not believe in political gimmicks He practised what he preached. He worked to make India self-reliant strong. When the western countries refused to supply foodgrains to India, Shastriji gave a call to the countrymen to observe fast on every Monday to overcome the food crisis. Shastriji himself observe fast on Mondays.

Shastriji wanted to create a sense of self-respect and self-discipline among the people. When Pakistan attacked India in 1965, he took the fight into the enemy’s territory and managed to inflict a crushing defeat on the enemy.

He respected the opposition and got their co-operation in tackling any problem. India India was unfortunate because the icy hands of death snatched this gem away from us in 1966.

Write an Essay or a Paragraph on “My Favourite National Hero” in English.

   MY FAVOURITE NATIONAL HERO

AN INDIAN PATRIOT

Table of Contents

Introduction:

In our country, many great heroes were born in the past. They were great Patriots. They sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their motherland. We remember their names with love and respect. My favourite National Hero, among the great heroes of modern India, the name of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose comes uppermost in my mind . He is my favourite National hero. He is the glory of India. He is the symbol of struggle and sacrifice.

Life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose:

The life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was very attractive. It is full of heroic activities. He was born on 23rd January in 1897 in Cuttack, the capital of Orissa. His father Janaki Nath Bose was a famous lawyer. A brilliant student throughout his academic career, he stood second in the Matriculation Examination. But above all, he was one of the greatest Patriots of India. He refused to accept service under the British government after passing the ICS Examination. He jumped into the national movement of India and became the President of the National Congress in 1938.

Activities for Freedom Movement:

During the second world war, he was interned in his own house. But one night he escaped from his house throwing dust into the vigilant eyes of the gourds. He left India in disguise and went first to Germany and then to Singapore where with the help of Rashbihari Bose he organised the Azad Hind Fouz . It was here that Subhash Chandra Bose began to be called ‘Netaji’ by the soldiers of the I.N.A. With this army, Netaji started his heroic and triumphant March up to Imphal, the capital of Manipur but thereafter had to retreat for want of food and arms. With his heart writhing in pain Netaji left for Tokyo in a plane but alas never to return.

Conclusion:

There is a mystery around Netaji’s death. Though there is a rumour that Netaji died in a plane crash, many Indians still believe that Netaji is still alive. Dead or alive our beloved Netaji will remain ever alive in our mind.

Students are often asked to write an essay on My Favourite Superhero in their schools and colleges. And if you’re also looking for the same, we have created 100-word, 250-word, and 500-word essays on the topic.

Let’s take a look…

100 Words Essay on My Favourite Superhero

Introduction.

My favourite superhero is Spider-Man. He is a popular character in the Marvel Universe, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko.

Why Spider-Man?

Spider-Man, also known as Peter Parker, is a high school student who gained superpowers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. I admire him because he is not only strong and agile but also intelligent and kind-hearted.

Spider-Man’s Powers

Spider-Man can stick to walls, has a sixth sense for danger, and possesses incredible strength and agility. His intelligence helps him invent gadgets like web-shooters.

Spider-Man teaches us that with great power comes great responsibility. He is my favourite superhero because he uses his powers to help others and make the world a safer place.

250 Words Essay on My Favourite Superhero

Every child grows up idolizing superheroes, but some of us never really outgrow that fascination. My favourite superhero is Batman, a character that embodies resilience, intelligence, and the human spirit’s indomitable will.

The Appeal of Batman

What sets Batman apart from other superheroes is his lack of superhuman abilities. Instead, he relies on his intellect, physical prowess, detective skills, and technological advancements. This makes him relatable and aspirational. He’s a testament to the potential of human capability, which is a compelling concept, especially for a young mind.

The Dark Knight’s Resilience

Batman’s resilience is another trait that draws me to him. Despite facing numerous adversities, he never succumbs to despair. Instead, he uses his pain as motivation to fight crime and injustice. This resilience is an essential attribute that I try to emulate in my personal and academic life.

Symbol of Justice

Batman is also a symbol of justice. He operates in a city plagued by corruption and crime, yet he never compromises his principles. This unwavering commitment to justice is inspiring and serves as a reminder of the importance of standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult.

In conclusion, Batman’s appeal lies in his relatability, resilience, and unwavering commitment to justice. These qualities make him more than just a superhero; they make him a symbol of the potential within us all. It is these traits that make Batman my favourite superhero and a source of inspiration in my life.

500 Words Essay on My Favourite Superhero

Superheroes have always been a source of fascination for many, offering an escape into a world where good triumphs over evil. Among the myriad of superheroes, my favourite is Batman, a character who embodies the human spirit’s resilience and determination.

The Enigma of Batman

Unlike other superheroes, Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, doesn’t possess any superhuman abilities. He is a man shaped by personal tragedy, using his wealth and resources to transform himself into a symbol of fear for the criminal underworld. Batman’s lack of superpowers makes him more relatable and realistic, highlighting the potential within every individual to become a hero.

Humanity and Vulnerability

Batman’s humanity is one of his most appealing characteristics. He is a superhero who battles not only the villains of Gotham City but also his inner demons. His vulnerability, seen through his constant struggle with his past and moral dilemmas, makes him a complex character. This complexity adds depth to his character, making him more than just a crime-fighting superhero.

Batman is a symbol of justice, a vigilante who operates in the shadows to maintain balance in Gotham City. He adheres to a strict moral code, refusing to kill, which sets him apart from his adversaries. This unwavering commitment to justice, even in the face of adversity, makes Batman a beacon of hope for Gotham’s citizens.

Intellect and Physical Prowess

Batman’s intellect is as impressive as his physical prowess. He is a detective, a strategist, a scientist, and a martial artist. His intelligence and physical capabilities are a testament to his dedication and discipline. These attributes underline the importance of continuous learning and self-improvement, making Batman an inspirational figure.

The Dark Knight’s Influence

Batman’s influence extends beyond the comic book pages and the silver screen. He has become a cultural icon, inspiring countless adaptations and interpretations. His enduring popularity underscores the timeless appeal of his character – a man who rises above his personal tragedy to fight for justice.

Batman, my favourite superhero, represents the triumph of human will and intellect over adversity. He is a symbol of resilience, justice, and hope. His complexity, humanity, and determination make him a compelling character, resonating with audiences worldwide. Batman’s influence and the lessons he imparts – about justice, morality, resilience, and self-improvement – continue to inspire and captivate, making him a superhero for all times.
