Yep Shaw sucks, however good came from my assignment there: studied hard and make TSgt, went to school a bunch and got my CCAFs, knocked up my wife :) Worst: Shaw Best: Patrick, Kadena, Yokota (I like them all) Reply reply. Minot, Grand Forks, Cannon, any base in Oklahoma minus Tinker, Holloman are the main bases I wanted to avoid... couldn't do it forever, got Holloman for my third assignment. It's different for everyone, I just try to avoid the cold and isolated bases but at the end of the day I've found positives everywhere I've been stationed.
