Leharaayi movie review : 'లెహరాయి' మూవీ రివ్యూ.

కథేంటంటే..  లెహరాయి బేసిక్‌గా తండ్రి కూతుళ్ళ మధ్య కథ. మేఘన(సౌమ్య మీనన్)ని తండ్రి( రావు రమేష్‌) ఎంతో అల్లారు ముద్దుగా పెంచుతాడు. ఎంతలా అంటే… తనకు రెండో సంతానం కూడా వద్దు అనేంతగా గారాబంగా పెంచుతాడు. మేఘన కూడా తండ్రి కోరుకున్న విధంగానే ప్రేమకు దూరంగా ఉంటూ వస్తుంది. కానీ అనుకోని పరిస్థితుల వల్ల తన క్లాస్ మేట్ అయిన కార్తీక్(రంజిత్)ని ప్రేమిస్తుంది. ఈ విషయం వేరే వ్యక్తుల ద్వారా మేఘన తండ్రికి తెలుస్తుంది. మరి చివరికి ఏం జరిగింది? కూతురి ప్రేమను తండ్రి అంగీకరిస్తాడా? లేదా అన్నది తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే. 

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే.. … ఇందులో హీరోగా నటించిన రంజిత్‌ స్టూడెంట్ పాత్రలో చక్కగా ఒదిగిపోయాడు. యాక్షన్‌ సీన్స్‌లోనూ మెప్పించాడు. సౌమ్య మీనన్‌ సంప్రదాయ బద్ధంగా కనిపిస్తూనే కుర్రకారును ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. రావురమేష్‌ హీరోయిన్‌ తండ్రి పాత్రలో నటించాడు. తండ్రీ కూతుళ్ల మధ్య నడిచే సెంటిమెంట్‌ డ్రామా బాగా పండింది. హీరో తండ్రి పాత్రలో నరేష్‌ నటన ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. గగన్‌ విహారి విలనిజం బావుంది. మిగ్రతా పాత్రధారులు తమ పాత్రల పరిధి వరకు బాగానే చేశారు. 

కథ,కథనం.. విశ్లేషణ: తండ్రీ కూతుళ్ల మధ్య  ఉండే సెంటిమెంట్ ఆధారంగా తెరకెక్కే సినిమాలు వెండితెరపై ఎప్పుడూ కొత్తగానే ఉంటాయి. గతంలో ఇదే ఫార్మాట్‌లో చాలా సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. కానీ కథ, కథనంలో కొత్తదనం చూపిస్తే ఇలాంటి సినిమాలు విజయం సాధిస్తాయి. కూతురే సర్వస్వం అని ఫీలయ్యే తండ్రికి ఆ అమ్మాయి కాలేజీలో ఓ అబ్బయిని ప్రేమించడం, అది తెలిసి తండ్రి ఎలా రియాక్ట్‌ అయ్యాడన్నదే కథ. అయితే తండ్ర-కూతుళ్ల మధ్య భావేద్వేగాలపై దర్శకుడు మరికాస్త ఫోకస్‌ పెట్టి ఉంటే బాగుండేది. కొన్ని పాత్రలు అవసరం లేకున్నా కావాలని ఇరికించినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది.  ఆలీ, సత్యం రాజేష్ లాంటి వారితో కామెడీని పండించారు. సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. ఎడిటింగ్ ఇంకాస్త గ్రిప్పింగ్ గా  ఉంటే బాగుండేది. బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ బాగుంది. నిర్మాణ విలువలు సినిమా స్థాయికి తగ్గట్లుగా ఉన్నాయి.

Ranjith, Sowmya Menon's Leharaayi directed by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is sending romantic vibes to viewers releasing on December 9, 2022. The film's OTT release is yet to be finalised and OTT partner will be announced once the deal is inked. Let us find out how people felt about Leharaayi.

Leharaayi Movie: Story Review

Leharaayi story is all about the romantic experiences of a girl who is bound by the promise she made to her father. Karthik (Ranjit Sommi) hates the word 'Sorry' and goes wild at anyone who uses it. He falls in love with a beautiful girl Meghana (Soumya Menon) who is bound by the promise she made to her father (Rao Ramesh) a doctor by profession. Why Karthik hates the word sorry, what promise Meghana made to her father (Rao Ramesh), how it impacts his relationship with his father (Naresh) and others, and whether he is able to win his love, form the crux of the story.

Leharaayi Movie: Artists, Technicians Review

The Leharaayi story selected by Ramakrishna Paramhamsa is nothing new but tried to pep it up with a few interesting and romantic scenes charging it with emotions. To some extent, he emerged successful but overall it turned out to be an ordinary attempt. The narration starts off on a slow note and goes on and on with routine elements. However, the glamor and looks of Soumya Menon and the melodious songs made up for these shortcomings. The second half also goes off in a similar manner but few emotional scenes highlighted the proceedings. At times, songs acted as speed breakers. Few dialogues are good and hard-hitting. The story of Leharaayi is very routine and the screenplay and direction is just ok.

Ranjit Sommi worked hard for his role. He is ok and danced with ease and enacted good stunts. He tried his best to elevate the scenes with his performance. However, he still has miles to go for that and should finetune his dialogue delivery and mannerisms. Soumya Menon impressed all with her glamor and looks on screen. She came up with good expressions and emotions and made an impact on the screen. She looked beautiful and her chemistry with Ranjit is good.

Rao Ramesh excelled in the role tailor-made for him. He played the role of the father of a girl who is caring and fears for her wellbeing all the time after seeing the day-to-day happenings in society. Naresh is also fine as the father of the hero who suffered a lot due to the shocking developments in his family. Ali and Satyam Rajesh evoked a few laughs with their antics. Others performed according to their roles.

Pravin Pudi's editing could have been far better. There are many drags in the film which slowed the pace. MN.Balreddy's cinematography is good and beautified the film. Gantadi Krishna's music is melodious. All the songs are beautifully shot and well choreographed and most of them are melodious and foot-tapping while a couple of them are emotional. His background score is in sync with the story.

Altogether, Leharaayi directed by Ramakrishna Pramahansa is extremely routine except for a few interesting elements. The screenplay and direction just passed through the motions. Altogether Leharaayi is just another routine romantic entertainer. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 1.75 rating for Leharaayi .

The film Leharaayi stars young talented hero Ranjith and Sowmyaa Menon as the leads and is presented by producer Bekkem Venugopal, who has gained a special craze for himself with consecutive successes in the Telugu film industry. This film, which sparked excitement with its teaser, trailer, and songs, has finally arrived in theatres. Let's see how good this movie is now.

Meghna (Sowmyaa Menon) is the Purushotam (Rao Ramesh), a great doctor. She is raised perfect since childhood. A girl fails in love and commits suicide one day. Rao Ramesh, who was shocked by the incident, promises his daughter that he will not put himself in such a situation because of her. Meghna swears to her father Purushotam that she will never love anyone. However, she unexpectedly proposes to Karthik (Ranjith Sommi). But why does she choose to to propose to him? What happened to Sowmyaa and Ranjit's love, and what is Ranjit's relationship with the girl who committed suicide in the beginning? That's rest of the story.

It is a solid commercial film with all of the family elements that demonstrate the bond between father and daughter. Despite the fact that this is a typical commercial film, the director has succeeded in directing and writing this drama in an entirely new way.

In comparison to the first half, the story becomes more interesting in the second half. Hero Ranjith has done well in the heroism scenes and has proven to be a promising performer. Sowmyaa Menon, the heroine, has done well within her scope. Rao Ramesh, who played the heroine's father, and Naresh, who played the hero's father, do not need to be mentioned because their performances were phenomenal. Gagan Vihari played an antagonist with negative undertones. The comedy of Ramprasad, Satyam Rajesh, and Ali worked well.

Director Ramakrishna Paramahamsa has presented a typical story in an entertaining manner that does not bore the audience. The camera work of MN Balareddy is excellent. The visuals are colourful. The music of GK (Ghantadi Krishna) is a big plus for the film. The songs and BGM are both excellent.

A small film titled, Leharaayi starring Ranjith and Sowmya Menon as the lead pair is out for public viewing today. Let’s see how it fares.

Story: An easy-go-lucky guy Karthik( Ranjith) who has an attitude to not say sorry to anyone falls for Meghana ( Sowmya Menon) at first sight itself. On the other hand, Meghana who has particular goals keeps on avoiding Karthik. At one point, Meghana herself proposes to Karthik in front of her father Viswa (Rao Ramesh). What happens next? Is Meghana truly in love with Karthik? What is the reason behind Karthik’s no-sorry attitude? What is the role of Meghana’s father in the entire setup, forms crucial crux.

Performances: Hero Ranjith tried to give his best in the boy-next-door role. Though the film is his first film, he manages to deliver a decent performance. Ranjith’s hard work is visible on screen in dances and fights. If he tries to improve his acting skills in the upcoming films, Ranjith has a scope to emerge as a bankable hero.

Looks-wise, heroine Sowmya Menon is adorable and she did a fine job in her given crucial role. Her chemistry with Ranjith is showcased in a decent manner.

Rao Ramesh gets a purposeful role as the heroine’s father. Gagan Vihari impresses in the baddie character.

Naresh is okay with his usual acting in the hero’s father role. Ali, Satyam Rajesh, Jabardast Ram Prasad, and Avinash among others are decent in their respective roles.

Technicalities: Music by senior music director Gantadi Krishna is a major advantage for the film. Though Gantadi is away from films for the past few years, he managed to give good songs which might get good applause from the netizens. His background score is apt to the film’s genre.

Ajay Sai’s photography work is good as he presented the entire film on a decent note with his framing and lighting setup. Especially, he captured the beauty of a hill station nicely. The editing work by Prawin Pudi is alright.

Production values for this limited-budget movie are good.

Analysis: Director Ramakrishna Paramhamsa’s basic thought of presenting the entire film from the heroine’s perspective is good. Though story-wise the film has nothing great to put here, the director tried to present the film on a decent note.

The director presented a few family and love scenes with emotionally charged proceedings. The scenes are executed with soulful content and will be loved by the audience.

Especially, the last twenty minutes are the heart of the film which explores the total context of the film in a decent manner. To summarize, Leharaayi is a love drama that has decent content to impress the youth audience.

Verdict: Has a few breezy moments!

Leharaayi, which is directed by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, and featuring Ranjith Sommi and Sowmyaa Menon in the lead roles, has been released. The trailer of the film has received a good response, and let us now see how the film has turned out to be.

The story is about a girl who shares a very deep bond with her father, who always keeps away from love because that’s how her father wants it. However, she ends up proposing to a boy under critical circumstances. The father-daughter duo try to rectify the daughter’s mistake, but there’s a huge hurdle for them. What is that hurdle, and how do they finally overcome it forms the rest of the story.

On-Screen Performances:

Ranjith Sommi is good enough in his role, and stands out when it comes to action sequences. However, he falls really short when it comes to emotional scenes and scenes where his utmost involvement is required. This is a major drawback in key sequences.

Sowmyaa Menon gets a meaty role, where she has to emote through various situations and circumstances and handle several emotions at the same time. Her scenes with Rao Ramesh, who plays her father, really stand out, and the two are convincing as a father and daughter.

Rao Ramesh and Naresh, who have major supporting roles in the film are, as usual, good in their parts. They give their best and keep the audience engaged as long as they are on the screen. The rest of the cast is good enough in what they have been given. Ali has been seen in a key role in the film.

Off-Screen Talents:

Director Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, who also wrote the story, chose a tried and tested concept for his film. There’s nothing new that he offers through this film, as almost everything that’s shown throughout the film has already been seen in some other film at some point. His screenplay is also quite predictable and has nothing that really stands out. The film’s execution is also just okay, and lacks the depth at certain points.

The production design is good enough, and the music composed by GK is good in places, and the background score is alright.

The editing of the film could have been a lot better, as many scenes felt like they went on for longer than they were supposed to. The cinematography is also pretty okay.

• Sowmyaa Menon performance

Minus Points:

• Predictable storyline
• Lagging screenplay
• Ranjith Sommi performance

Verdict: Leharaayi has nothing out of the box to offer to you and is not a core shaker. Unless you have too much time to spare, it is not a film that really needs to be watched. It is completely skippable.
