Presentation Centre of Allied Sciences, Affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, is owned and managed by Diocese of Kottapuram. The college is situated in the heart of a beautiful village free from all types of pollution, on the eastern side of Puthenvelikara – Mala road. The foundation stone of the college was blessed and laid by the most Rev.Dr.Francis Kallarakkal, former Bishop of Kottapuram. The college started its formal functioning on 2005 under Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam and changed its affiliation to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur on 2010. Presentation Centre of Allied Sciences is a place where all thrive to change the life trajectory for youth growing up in challenging circumstances.

The department of electronics of PCAS was started in 2003. The department offers three year Undergraduate Programme in Electronics (B.Sc Electronics). The aim of this program is to provide the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in order to meet the requirements of the R&D organizations and industries. The curriculum of this course is updated by M.G.University regularly to keep it in consonance with the changing industrial environment.
