Homework Planner Apps for Students

1. student planner- homework agenda & notes.

The first app on the list is a simple homework and notes management app. It keeps track of homework, assignments, projects, and to-do lists. The layout is minimal, all the tasks are neatly organized with a colored bookmark for easy identification. You can mark a task complete and remove it from the pending list.

Courses can be added easily and color-coded as well. The calendar shows any upcoming deadlines so you can prioritize accordingly. The tasks have a progress bar that you can adjust as you make progress which enables you to get a quick summary without actually opening every task.

You can also break your assignments in small chunks as subtasks that would make finishing a task much easier and the progress bar will fill automatically. It also allows you to attach media files to your assignments or projects for easy access to the important information in one place.

homework planner apps- agenda

  • Progress bar
  • Deadline Reminders
  • Calendar View
  • No option to sync data to the cloud

Student Planner is a great app for all the students, it has all the necessary features like Deadline reminders, subtasks, progress bar, color-coded tasks, and courses. It can significantly increase your productivity when used regularly. You can get this app for free in the Play Store.

Install Student Planner- Homework Agenda ( Android )

2. Student Planner

Student Planner is another fast and simple homework management app which is wrapped by a beautiful and intuitive material designed UI. What Student Planner adds to the table is the inclusion of a schedule or time table which you can use to either store your class schedule or it might even be a study schedule for your exams.

You first start by adding your subject and the schedule then you can add an assignment or set a reminder. The due assignments are arranged as separate cards and can be swiped away once done with.

homework planner apps- Student Planner Android

  •  Simple and easy to get started with
  •  Fast and small in size
  •  Beautiful Minimal UI
  •  Option for Schedule
  • No sync/backup
  • Timetable implementation not perfect

I would recommend this app to anyone who is looking for a simple homework management app with timetable support and a minimal UI.

Install Student Planner ( Android )

Egenda is simple. Open the app, add all the classes or subjects to the app, and once that is set up, you have the option of adding a new Homework, Quiz, Project, or Test and choose the respective subject deadlines. The app also arranges the due work in cards that can be swiped away when done. But what I love the most about this app is that the fact it allows you to go subject-wise and view all your upcoming tests, projects, or pending assignments which is a huge convenience for planning your schedule ahead of time instead of the previous day.

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t have a timetable option, but in its latest update, it added a  Calendar View  where you can see your whole month at a glance with your assignments, tests, and projects.

homework planner apps- Egenda Android

  •  Subject-wise sorting
  •  Calendar View
  • No timetable support

Egenda provides some great tools for Homework and Test planning and I am sure anyone would find them extremely convenient and useful. But keeping its single con in mind, go for this app if you are not too keen on having a schedule or timetable.

Install  Egenda  ( Android  |  iOS )

4. ChalkBoard

The next app on our list is ChalkBoard, which I found out to be a pretty smart homework planner app. Chalkboard strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and features.

Although the setup process is a little longer than the previous three apps, as you have to feed meticulous details about the classes, teacher, and schedule. It is worth the effort.

On the home screen, you are shown upcoming classes, events tab, and upcoming tests. ChalkBoard fetches the dates for every subject from the Timetable for your future classes. Little features like these make the app stand out from the rest and give an overall great experience. You can also view classes and assignments subject wise.

homework planner apps- ChalkBoard Android

EduTech: The best iOS apps for keeping track of assignments, due dates, and more

Avatar for Chance Miller

EduTech is a new 9to5Mac weekly series that will focus on technology’s application in education, lower and higher level, both for productivity and enjoyment. If you have suggestions for topics or specific questions you’d like to see answered, feel free to let me know. Catch up on past installments here .

In this week’s installment of EduTech, we’re going to break down the best apps on iOS stay organized, keep track of assignments, and more. Some of these apps are specifically made with education in mind, while others were developed with a broader focus yet still offer benefits to educators and students alike.

This is arguably one of the best applications of technology in education. Keeping track of things like assignments, due dates, and tests used to be a tedious task that required the use of a physical planner to truly stay on top of things. With iOS, however, there are many apps that make it easy to stay on top of your work. Read on for my full list…

The Homework App

One of the most popular scheduling apps on iOS is simply called “The Homework App.” Available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, this app features a minimalistic design that offers support for your class schedule, homework schedule, and more.

assignment due date app

On the main screen of the app, you see a broad overview of what you have going on, including the number of classes you have that day, the assignments you have due, your schedule, and more. From there, you can dive deeper into the specifics of what you have going on with sub details for assignments, color coding, and more.

The Homework App also offers a widget in Notification Center, as well as an Apple Watch app for on-the-go tracking. There’s also notification support to ensure you never forget a due date.

The Homework App is free on the App Store .

myHomework Student Planner

This app, while still simplistic, offers a few more customization options than The Homework App. On the home screen of the app is a basic overview of all of the homework you have due, while you can filter it by class, priority, and type.

One thing that sets myHomework apart is its support for classes that occur every other day, like in a college environment. While The Homework App does support this, you have to set up each day individually as opposed to telling the app the alternation schedule. myHomework, however, allows you to choose which days a class occurs rather than assuming it occurs every week day.

myHomework Student Planner offers iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch support. It’s available for free on the App Store .

Class Timetable

Returning to the simplicity over features theme, Class Timetable is an incredibly simple app that allows you to keep track of classes and assignments. The home screen of this app is a simple list of your classes for that day, while a separate Tasks window shows your assignments and when they are do.

Class Timetable is color coded and supports a color coded week view when you rotate your device to landscape view.

While Class Timetable is free, there’s a “Pro” update available via in-app purchase for $0.99. With that upgrade, you get class notifications, timetable export, task reminders, and more.

Class Timetable is available on the App Store and supports iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

My Study Life

My personal favorite planning app is My Study Life. In my testing, I’ve found this one to be the most feature-rich apps available, while also offering a simplistic and easy to navigate design.

One of my favorite features is the “Tomorrow” preview at the bottom of the app’s home screen. This preview shows how many classes you have on the next day, the tasks you have due, and if you have any exams. My Study Life is also smart about handling exam and class interferences, alerting you of the conflict and allowing you to add revision tasks.

You can view your upcoming tasks and classes with month and week views, as well as detailed daily views with building numbers, times, and more.

My Study Life is available on the App Store for free , but there’s no iPad or Apple Watch app at this point.

Fantastical

While this app wasn’t developed with education specifically in mind, it’s still one of the best planning apps available. Available on both iOS and macOS, Fantastical is a beautiful calendar app with cross-platform syncing, Apple Watch support, and iMessage integration.

We’ve covered Fantastical extensively in the past and I continue to recommend it. You can import from other calendar services, sync between your various devices, and much more.

As for education-specific purposes, you can enter assignment due dates, exam dates, meetings, and more.

Fantastical 2 is available for $2.99 on iOS  and $49.99 on macOS .

Another app that wasn’t developed with education specifically in mind, but yet still is one of the best apps for assignment tracking and remembering test dates. OmniFocus is task management app that allows you to enter in a task, assign a due date, and receive notification reminders to complete that task.

The app centers around being easy to use and allowing you to get things done as efficiently as possible. For each day, you’ll see a number that represents the number of tasks that you have due that day.

The app is also location-aware, meaning you can assign a location to specific task and be reminded of it when you approach that location.

OmniFocus is available for iOS, Apple Watch, and iPad on the App Store , while there’s also a macOS app .

Other to-do apps

assignment due date app

To-do apps are a great way to remember tasks you have to complete. While OmniFocus is my personal favorite, there are a variety of other options, some of which are free, available on the App Store.

For education, to-do apps are relatively simple and work best for remembering assignments and exam dates rather than class meeting times. For many students, however, assignment and date tracking is the central need.

Below are some additional recommendations for to-do list applications:

  • Remember The Milk
  • Google Keep
  • Apple’s Reminders app

Those are just some of the apps that make it incredibly easy to keep track of assignments, classes, tests, and more. Everyone has their own methodology for tracking such dates and it’s really up to you to find the best app that fits your needs.

If you have any additional recommendations for organizing your school work and schedule, let us know down in the comments.

What are the benefits of a student assignment planner?

A student assignment planner is a routine or a guide that students create in order to better organize and communicate.

Students use these planners more likely to keep track of their assignments, set personal goals for students, and enhance communication between students, teachers, and parents. The four effective ways student planners can enhance learning are as follows:

Improves Organization

The organization doesn’t come fluently to utmost scholars. It requires constant effort and a great deal of planning; qualities that some pupils need.

Students frequently get frazzled and confused with having to keep up and plan for their numerous classes, assignments, test dates, and so forth. Due to lack of association, scholars’ work or grades frequently suffer.

Assignment planners give an easy and creative system of taking note of their commitments and deadlines. It gives them a systematized approach to recording the necessary information on a day-to-day basis.

These are also related over the course of time, enabling students to prepare and be ready with their class necessities and activities.

Tracks Achievements

Student planners allow them to keep track of their objectives. They can make use of the planner to write down their to-do lists and targets.

As they achieve goals throughout the week, they’re suitable to construct momentum and get inspired to work harder. Ambition setting is a great skill to learn for school as well as in life after it.

Enhances Students’ Responsibilities

Having a planner gives the students the freedom to plan, organize and keep track of their work to the best of their capacities and necessities.

This has a binary benefit in that it increases the student’s responsibility to the commitments as well as provides them with a strategy that contributes to their success. Using these planners, students are suitable to take full responsibility and accountability to complete their work.

Best way to organize your day..

Download the app and manage all your work and assignments with Lio.

Promotes communication  .

There’s always a chance for miscommunication to take place when conveying information to parents through students.

The Use of planners helps to overcome this challenge as it serves as an excellent line of communication between scholars, parents, and educators.

Planners can have a separate section allowing school teacher-parent communication. educators can write regarding pupil performance, dates for school activities, or about academy programs, while parents can use the space to interrogate the pupil or inform the schoolteacher about any problem faced by the student.

Using student assignment planners can help scholars stay on track and succeed to the best of their capability.

I’m a tutor myself. My schedule has just gotten too busy. I would appreciate some advice on how to prepare my lesson plan before class.

' src=

Hello Supriya,

The learning objectives for the lesson must be determined before you can begin to plan it. In contrast to what the learner will be exposed to during instruction, a learning aim explains what the learner will know or be able to do following the learning experience.

Estimate how much time you will spend on each learning activity as you plan them.

Finding out if your students are learning is made possible through assessment planning. Students have the chance to demonstrate and practice the knowledge and abilities outlined in the learning objectives through assessments (such as examinations, papers, problem sets, and performances), and instructors have the chance to give specific comments that can direct further learning.

After a lesson, there is an opportunity to reinforce what the students have learned. Instructors and students can both benefit from lesson closure. Hope you find this useful.

Could you please assist me in providing some tips on how to meet multiple deadlines? Thanks in advance.

Hello Manohar,

Here are some helpful hints for juggling many deadlines without becoming exhausted: Make sure you can actually see your workload, whether you write it down on a whiteboard or enter it into an app. You can use this to plan your timetable and break up the work at hand into more manageable chunks.

Organize your time by deciding what is urgent versus what is important, and then decide which projects will demand the most of your time, effort, and resources.

Try dividing up large projects into little chores if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the number of deadlines on your calendar. In this manner, you’ll remain on track to achieve your deadline and feel more driven to complete the task. I hope these suggestions prove useful.

I work as a teacher. How can assignments be given to students in the best way possible without putting them under pressure?

Hello Rajmohini,

When giving out assignments, teachers need to be especially careful. Students may tune out and refuse to complete their assignments if it is too difficult, or takes too long. Students’ homework assignments ought to build on what they have learned in class. Consider these suggestions on how to assign homework to make sure it is clear and appropriate:

1. Establish a regular homework schedule at the start of the school year, 2. Give the students tasks they can complete, 3. Give homework in small clusters, 4. The assignment should be written on the chalkboard and left there until it is due, 5. Periodically remind pupils of due dates, 6. Work together with other educators to avoid a glut of assignments.

What is Schoolwork?

Schoolwork is an app that helps you and your teachers take advantage of the creative power of iPad, letting you explore and express new ideas. Schoolwork helps you easily view your class assignments, navigate to assigned app activities, collaborate with your teachers and other students, submit your work, and see your progress.

Announcements, assignments, and reminders from your teachers automatically appear in Schoolwork on your iPad. To help you keep track of everything you need to do, you can use the Schoolwork sidebar to view assignments across all your classes (Due Next and Done) or within a specific class (class view). Tapping Due Next or Done in the sidebar displays all your assignments, with the assignments your teachers recently updated listed first. Class views display active, submitted, and completed assignments associated with the selected class.

Your teachers can share content with you (PDFs, files, photos, videos, documents, links, exit tickets, activities within apps), even when you’re out of the classroom. Your teachers can easily view how you’re doing on an assignment, then personalize instruction based on your needs.

In addition to Due Next and Done, the Schoolwork sidebar contains four classes (Coding, Literature, Mathematics, and Science). To view how you’re doing on an assignment, tap the assignment. You can also search by assignment title, app activity, or file name.

Work on assigned activities and submit work to teachers. You can submit work from the Schoolwork app or Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and GarageBand activities from within the app. Additionally, you can use the Share button in the app where you did your work and choose Schoolwork as the share destination (for example, after creating a video in Clips).

Collaborate with teachers and other students on assignment activities (for example, editing an essay in Pages for iPadOS). Depending on how teachers choose to share a collaborative file, you can edit the file and view feedback from your teachers and other students while actively working on the file.

View activity details to see if your teachers requested a revision, unlocked a specific activity to give you more time, or returned your work.

View progress on assigned activities. You can use your class view, assignment details view, and student pop-up pane to see overall progress in your class and progress with each assignment and activity.

Note: To use Schoolwork, you must have a school account. If you need help with your account, talk to your teacher.

If your school allows and you’re signed in to Messages, you can tap the Messages button to send a message to your teacher. Your teacher can include photos, videos, drawings, and audio files in instructions. To share multimedia, touch and hold the thumbnail, then tap Share. Schoolwork displays your Overall Progress for all activities in the assignment. In the progress data for the selected activity, Schoolwork displays the total time and total word count. To let your teacher know you’ve completed an activity, if not set automatically by the app, tap Mark Done.

As you finish an activity, Schoolwork submits your work to your teacher. If you change your mind and decide you are not done with an activity, tap Mark Not Done. When you finish all activities in an assignment, Schoolwork moves the assignment to the Done tab.

If your school turned on the Student Progress feature and you use your school account to work on activities in a progress-reporting app your teacher sent in an assignment, all available progress data is shared with you and the teachers in your class. Schoolwork displays the data from the progress-reporting app as you work on the activity in the app (for example, time spent on the activity, the percentage completed, quiz scores, hints used, or points earned). The data available depends on the type of activity as defined by the app developer. Every activity that supports progress reporting displays time spent data in Schoolwork. See About privacy and security for Apple products in education

Schoolwork only reports progress for work that your teachers assign in Schoolwork. If you work on an activity before your teacher assigns it, Schoolwork will not report your progress data. For example, if your teacher sends you an activity to read Chapter 1 in a book and you read Chapter 2 as well, Schoolwork only reports your progress for Chapter 1. If your teacher later assigns you to read Chapter 2, any progress you already made on Chapter 2 would not be reported. You can mark Chapter 2 done , but no progress data will be reported unless you read Chapter 2 again.

For document, link, timed app, and exit ticket activities, Schoolwork automatically displays information (time spent, number of questions answered) as you complete the activity.

Submit your work in Schoolwork

Submitting your work allows you to demonstrate learning to your teacher, and is as easy as handing in a piece of paper. You can submit work for any assignment where your teacher explicitly requested a hand-in activity.

Assignment calendars help students avoid deadline anxiety

assignment due date app

The start of an academic year can seem daunting, particularly if it’s your first. You may feel weighed down by the amount of material you have to study before working on and submitting assignments by due dates. A well-designed assignment calendar is an effective time-management tool. It can help you stay organized and on track with your tasks throughout each semester and the entire academic year.

This article explains how an assignment calendar is essential for students and how you can save time by personalizing a Work OS template . It will show you how monday.com can make it easy for you to keep track of your progress, and through strong visuals and seamless integration with other Work OS templates, help you productively manage your learning journey and hit each assignment deadline on time.

What is an assignment calendar?

Assignment calendars make it easy to organize and track tasks, freeing the student’s time to concentrate on learning.

An assignment calendar, sometimes known as an assignment organizer, is a structured method of monitoring the discharge of multiple tasks within the same assignment to ensure all are completed before the due date. Students can also use it to set their personal goals for the semester or academic year, as well as to record and plan communications with members of the faculty. A student can create their own assignment tracker from scratch, but for many, the best solution is to personalize an existing template.

What should an assignment calendar include?

An assignment calendar should include methods of recording every facet of your learning journey. Typically, these will include the following:

  • Flexible calendar:  For adding all your study and assignment dates, including dates for tuition fees
  • Note-taking feature:  For recording raw information that’s linked to specific subjects
  • Project management tools:  For breaking tasks down into manageable chunks
  • Filtering features:  For minimizing clutter by filtering content
  • Document management:  For storing important documents that can be linked to a specific point of study or a test/assignment
  • Contacts:  For storing essential contact information such as the phone numbers and emails of other students, professors, and research assistants

Why use a monday.com assignment calendar?

A monday.com assignment calendar will help you organize your day, week, month, semester, and academic year. You’ll be able to view your progress through every task related to your assignment and integrate the calendar with other useful Work OS templates, ensuring a seamless workflow throughout. You can quickly build a unique, lean, and cloud-based dynamic calendar that is always at your fingertips.

monday.com templates for students

monday.com templates are easily customizable programs that work effectively in isolation and are even more effective when teamed with other Work OS tools. An online assignment calendar can be accessed from any device, and as it’s cloud-based, the student needn’t worry about losing vital information. Being part of monday.com’s network of programs means students can integrate it with other useful programs, building a small and personal suite of tools that help them manage their learning journeys.

You can include due dates for all activities, including communications, and add links to quickly access important content. You’ll always know how many credits you need at every stage of your learning schedule.

It lets you collaborate easily with others in the project, including fellow students, faculty, and research assistants. You can alter views of your data immediately and use various options to visualize content, including timeline, Kanban, Gantt, and workload. The template also lets you develop automated behaviors for repetitive tasks, such as sending due date warning emails and real-time notifications.

Frequently asked questions

Are students who use assignment planners more successful.

Although many factors determine a student’s level of success, assignment calendars also help:

  • Improve grades : A 2007 study  by Hugh Kearns and Maria Gardiner found that students who organize their calendars typically achieve better grades than those that don’t. The study also found that those students experienced less stress and anxiety.
  • Enhance concentration:  An assignment organizer makes it easier to focus on the job at hand, allowing you to put aside non-critical projects for another time.
  • Develop time-management skills:  Benjamin Franklin once famously said, “By failing to plan, you are preparing to fail.” Assignment organizers help you plan, and as a consequence, develop your time-management skills, which will be critical to your future success in whatever field you later enter.

Can an assignment calendar help with procrastination?

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking you have enough time to put off studying or homework until later. A carefully maintained assignment calendar will keep you focused on internal deadlines you’ve created for yourself, but more importantly, external ones imposed by your learning institution. Procrastination is an emotional response  to something you fear, such as failing a major project. An assignment organizer will help you break down formidable tasks into more manageable pieces that don’t appear as difficult. The frequent result is the project becomes less daunting, reducing the likelihood of procrastination.

Is a monday.com assignment calendar better than alternatives?

Online assignment tracker templates from monday.com help students improve their efficiency and increase their productivity. They help the student avoid duplicating content, allow the flow of work from other assignment organizers, and ensure data isn’t accidentally lost. As Work OS assignment planners are cloud-based, the student needn’t worry about losing data or access, which is a real possibility with paper-based alternatives.

Never miss a key deadline with an online assignment calendar

An assignment calendar is a vital part of every student’s toolbox. It can help you manage your learning process, focus on the here and now, and keep one eye on what you need to do next. Properly managed, it will help you avoid missing important deadlines, reduce your anxiety, and ensure you’re always aware of the stage you’re at, whether it’s for that week, month, semester, or the entire academic year. Attaining an academic qualification takes commitment, discipline, stamina, and an ability to learn skills that make learning possible. Our Work OS Assignment Calendar Template and associated education-linked templates make it easier for you to focus on your goals and succeed in your ambitions.

How To Organize Assignments So You Never Miss A Due Date Again

If you aren’t a pro at organizing your assignments for school, I guarantee you will be after this! One of the first things a student should do before school starts is to make sure that they have a reliable way to organize their assignments. This is why I’m going to teach you how to organize assignments so you never miss a due date again!

Putting all of your assignments for the semester in at least ONE place will actively remind you of your due dates so you don’t ever forget them. I will go through some of the most popular methods to organize your assignments as well as let you know which method I prefer the best.

How To Organize Your Assignments As A Student

The three major ways you can organize your assignments include using a school planner app, using a physical planner, and using Google Calendar. All of these methods have their benefits and drawbacks, but they all have been proven to work and I know you will find the perfect method for you.

myHomework App

One of my favorite apps for college students is myHomework ! It is the ultimate app for organizing your assignments. You all do not understand how life-changing this one app was when I discovered it during my freshman year! Because of myHomework, I never missed an assignment due date. The best part is that it’s extremely easy to use! Check out the tutorial video below.

how to organize with myhomework:

  • Download the app from your app store
  • Create a free account
  • Color code each class
  • Put in what times you will take that class
  • What type of assignment it is
  • Priority level (how important/urgent it is to get it done)
  • Reminders (so you don’t forget to actually do it)
  • Attach any additional files (instructions, deadline timeline, etc.)
  • And completing an assignment is as easy as swiping to the left and poof💨 it’s gone!

This is by far my favorite method because after you set everything, you’re done! Unlike a physical planner where you have to constantly refer to what you wrote, with this app, you can get automated notifications and reminders for each assignment. Spend a day before the semester begins to take a couple of hours to import all of your assignments. Seriously focus on customizing exactly how you want (reminders, priority level, etc). Once you’re done, you will have a complete look at every single assignment you will need to complete and any additional information right at your fingertips. It’s simple, straightforward, and reliable.

Why it works:

  • Built-in structure for organizing classes and assignments
  • See monthly, weekly, and daily views of assignments that you need to complete
  • Your data can sync across multiple platforms
  • Supports time-block and period-based schedules
  • It’s 100% free

Planner Method

Another way to make sure you keep track of your assignments is to have a physical planner. This is the old-school way that still gets the job done. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there are new planners with different and cool features popping up constantly. There’s a reason why… Planners work when you make them work! The steps for this method are very similar to the steps you would use with the myHomework app.

  • Go through each syllabus and write the classes you will be taking (in the notes section of your planner)
  • I would also highlight them in a particular color and write the days and times that you will take these classes
  • Write down every single assignment that you will have to turn in throughout the semester on its due date
  • Add in every quiz and test day as well as the day you will have to take them

how to organize assignments

Now the next thing you need to do is create reminders. As far as reminding you when things are due, there are many options:

  • You can write reminders in your planner. If you have all of your due dates in your monthly view (as I instructed and recommended above), you can then use the daily or weekly view to insert reminders weekly of assignments/quizzes/projects/tests coming up.
  • If you have all of your due dates in your planner, you can couple this method with using your phone for reminders. Using apps such as Google Calendar or the regular Calendar app can help you get instant reminders to work on assignments and study for tests.

I will have a post all about the best college planners soon! I have tried countless planners. So, I can’t wait to share what has worked a lot for me and how it can help you as well. So stay tuned by signing up for my email list to know when that post will be live!

  • You’re more likely to remember things when you write them down
  • Complete freedom in organizing and being creative with your planning
  • You don’t have to worry about not having wifi

Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a God-send. I prefer this method right now in my daily life because it helps me stay organized and informed of my schedule at ALL times!! I have a complete tutorial on how I set up and organize my Google Calendar so I will have that linked below. But I want to give some great tips in this article as well for organizing your classes and assignments!

Related Article ⇾ How To Time-Block Your Life For Success

Google Calendar has an incredible feature that allows you to create different calendars. For example, I have a calendar that’s strictly for work-related things, I have one for getting random things done, which is appropriately named “Getting Sh*t Done”, and even a calendar strictly for family things. I can also subscribe family members to the “family” one so we all know what is going on.

Color coding helps keep everything more organized as well. Different colors mean different calendars. Choosing brighter colors can be for the more important calendars such as work and appointments and dimmer colors can be for more routine things.

How to apply this method to your classes:

  • This allows you to color-code your classes to differentiate every class and their assignments
  • This blends every class together, but you will be able to determine what’s school-related and what is not related to school in your schedule
  • This helps you see a clear difference between when you have classes when things are due, and when you will work on the things that are due (study time)
  • Complete organization of classes and assignments

Final Things To Consider

Choose what works for you. I like to give different options because I know everyone is different. What works for me might not work for you. So try one way of organizing your assignments. If it doesn’t work out, no biggie, just move on to a new method. The goal is to keep trying until you find that magic formula that helps you stay on top of your school life.

Don’t wait to import your assignments. This is a major pro tip. There was a time one of my professors added a random assignment that we had to complete that semester and I forgot to put it in the myHomework app, so I missed it 🥴 lol… This is why I encourage you to always put things in your planner when your teacher announces any extra assignments or extra credit opportunities that may not have been on the syllabus – right when it’s announced . Otherwise, you will most likely forget. Also, check out my post about how you can get every assignment, even new/random ones automatically imported into your Google Calendar if your school uses Canvas.

Lastly, make sure you insert reminders for every assignment. In the case that you do forget about a due date, you have enough time to complete it because you placed a reminder for that assignment. Whether you’re super busy or not, we constantly forget things throughout the day and it’s important to have that sort of virtual “personal assistant” to remind us of things. So use your phone to your advantage and make sure you keep track of your due dates.

Many classes, especially in college, won’t allow you to turn in anything late. Which makes organizing your assignments and due dates that much more important!

If you have any other ways that you organize your assignments and due dates, please leave them in the comments below. I’d love to hear how you organize your class dates. I hope you’ve found some awesome ways how to organize assignments in a way that works for you!

Apple reportedly cuts Vision Pro production due to low demand

Analyst ming-chi kuo says apple is slashing vision pro shipments for 2024 and rethinking plans for the next model..

A woman makes a pinching gesture while wearing the Vision Pro.

Apple is reportedly cutting its Vision Pro headset shipment forecast for the rest of the year due to cooling demand.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo writes that Apple cut orders for the Vision Pro even before it launched outside of the US. His sources claim that Apple now expects to sell only around 400,000 to 450,000 units in 2024, compared to what Kuo says was a “market consensus” of 700,000 to 800,000. Demand for the $3,500 Vision Pro dropped much lower than the company was expecting.

  • Apple Vision Pro review: magic, until it’s not

Facing the unanticipated drop in steam, Apple is now adjusting its headset roadmap, possibly pushing the future of a lower-cost entry mixed reality headset beyond 2025 (if at all). Apple’s Vision Pro has largely wowed early adopters due to its technical prowess — but not enough to hold on to all of them past the return period .

Apple is often a trendsetter in new product markets, and if the Vision Pro doesn’t do well, it could leave reverberations for the whole industry. Kuo believes that demands for certain VR and AR-specific components, like the Micro OLED displays, may not reach the adoption rate needed for mass production to make it into other devices.
