ప వన్‌కల్యాణ్‌ ( Pawan Kalyan ) సినిమా వస్తుందంటే అభిమానులకు పండగే. తన మేనల్లుడు సాయిధరమ్‌ తేజ్‌ ( Sai Dharam Tej )తో కలిసి నటిస్తున్నారంటే ఆ సినిమా మరింత ప్రత్యేకం. సముద్రఖని (Samuthirakani) దర్శకత్వంలో వచ్చిన ‘వినోదయసిత్తం’ తమిళ ప్రేక్షకులను విశేషంగా అలరించింది. ఇప్పుడు అదే సినిమాను పవన్‌ కీలక పాత్రలో ‘బ్రో’(BRO Movie) మూవీగా రీమేక్‌ చేయడంతో అందరిలోనూ ఆసక్తి నెలకొంది. పైగా అగ్ర దర్శకుడు త్రివిక్రమ్‌ (Trivikram Srinivas) ఈ సినిమాకు స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే, సంభాషణలు రాయడం విశేషం. మరి శుక్రవారం ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చిన ఈ సినిమా ఎలా ఉంది?(BRO Movie Review in telugu) ‘వినోదయసిత్తం’లో ఏ మార్పులు చేశారు? తెలియాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే!

క‌థేంటంటే: ఇంటికి పెద్ద కొడుకైన మార్క్ అలియాస్ మార్కండేయులు (సాయిధ‌ర‌మ్ తేజ్) తండ్రి మ‌ర‌ణం త‌ర్వాత అన్ని బాధ్య‌త‌ల్నీ త‌న  భుజాన మోస్తుంటాడు. ఇద్ద‌రు చెల్లెళ్లు, త‌మ్ముడు స్థిర‌ప‌డాల‌ని... ఉద్యోగంలో త‌ను మ‌రింత ఎత్తుకు ఎద‌గాల‌ని నిరంతరం శ్ర‌మిస్తుంటాడు. ఓ రోజు ఊహించ‌ని రీతిలో ఓ రోడ్డు ప్ర‌మాదం కాల‌నాగులా ఆయ‌న్ని క‌బ‌ళిస్తుంది. త‌న‌వాళ్లెవ‌రూ జీవితంలో  స్థిర‌ప‌డ‌లేద‌ని, తాను చేయాల్సిన ఎన్నో ప‌నులు మిగిలిపోయాయ‌ని... త‌న జీవితానికి ఇంత తొంద‌ర‌గా ముగింపునివ్వ‌డం అన్యాయమని కాలం (ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్‌) అనే దేవుడి ముందు మొర‌పెట్టుకుంటాడు. (BRO Movie Review in telugu) దాంతో కాలం అనుగ్ర‌హించి 90 రోజులు అత‌ని జీవిత‌కాలాన్ని పెంచుతాడు. అలా మ‌ళ్లీ ఇంటికి చేరిన మార్క్ 90 రోజుల్లో అనుకున్న‌వ‌న్నీ చేశాడా? అత‌నివ‌ల్లే ప‌నుల‌న్నీ అయ్యాయా? ఆ 90 రోజుల స‌మ‌యంలో ఏం తెలుసుకున్నాడన్న‌ది మిగ‌తా క‌థ‌.

ఎలా ఉందంటే: అగ్ర తార‌ల సినిమాల్లో ప్ర‌ధాన భూమిక పోషించేది వాణిజ్యాంశాలే. ఇక తారస్థాయిలో  ఇమేజ్‌... బ‌ల‌మైన అభిమాన‌గ‌ణం ఉన్న ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్ సినిమా అంటే  చెప్పాల్సిన అవ‌స‌రమే లేదు. ఎప్ప‌టిక‌ప్పుడు అభిమానుల‌కి కిక్ ఇచ్చే అంశాల్ని జోడిస్తూ వాళ్ల‌ని సంతృప్తిప‌ర‌చాల్సిందే. మ‌రి ఏమాత్రం వాణిజ్యాంశాలు లేని... క‌థే ప్ర‌ధానంగా సాగే ‘వినోదయ సిత్త‌ం’ని ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్‌తో రీమేక్ చేయ‌డం అంటే క‌త్తిమీద సామే. వాణిజ్యాంశాల విష‌యంలో ఉన్న ఆ సందేహాల‌న్నిటినీ ప‌టాపంచ‌లు చేస్తూ... ప‌వ‌న్ ఇమేజ్ గురించి బాగా తెలిసిన త్రివిక్ర‌మ్ త‌న‌దైన శైలిలో ర‌చ‌న చేశారు. ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్ గ‌త సినిమాల్లోని పాట‌లు... ఆయ‌న మేన‌రిజ‌మ్స్‌... ఆయ‌న గెటప్స్‌ని  పక్కాగా సినిమాలోని స‌న్నివేశాల‌కి త‌గ్గ‌ట్టుగా మ‌లిచారు. అవి ఎప్ప‌టిక‌ప్పుడు అభిమానుల‌తో ఈల‌లు కొట్టించేలా ఉన్నాయి. ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్ (Pawan kalyan) చెప్పే సంభాష‌ణ‌లు కూడా  ఆయ‌న భావాలు ... రాజ‌కీయ సిద్ధాంతాల‌కి అనుగుణంగా ఉంటాయి. పాట‌లు, సంభాష‌ణ‌లు వెర‌సి ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్ తెర‌పై వీరోచితంగా ఫైట్లు చేయ‌డం లేద‌నే విష‌యాన్ని కూడా మ‌రిపిస్తాయి. మాతృక‌లోని తండ్రి పాత్ర‌ని... ఇక్క‌డ పెద్ద కొడుకుగా మార్చి దాని చుట్టూ అల్లిన కుటుంబ స‌న్నివేశాలు మంచి డ్రామాని పంచుతాయి. మార్క్ పాత్ర‌ని ఆట‌ప‌ట్టిస్తూ ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్ చేసే హంగామా సినిమాకి ప్ర‌ధాన బ‌లం. లోతైన భావాల‌తో జీవిత స‌త్యాన్ని తెలిపేలా ఉంటూనే, ఆ ఆట మంచి వినోదాన్ని పంచుతుంది. ప‌తాక స‌న్నివేశాలు సినిమాకి మ‌రింత కీల‌కం. మార్క్ మ‌న‌సుని తేలిక ప‌రిచే ఆ స‌న్నివేశాలు ప్రేక్ష‌కుల‌కు బాగా క‌నెక్ట్ అవుతాయి. ప్ర‌త్యేకంగా టీ క‌ప్పుని చూపించ‌డం మొద‌లుకొని రాజ‌కీయాల్ని గుర్తు చేసే ప‌లు సంభాష‌ణ‌ల కోసం  త్రివిక్ర‌మ్ ప్ర‌త్యేకంగా ‘స్పేస్’ తీసుకుని రాసిన‌ట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది. బ్రో’ సినిమా వచ్చేసింది.. ‘వినోదయసిత్తం’ గురించి ఇవి మీకు తెలుసా?

ఎవ‌రెలా చేశారంటే: ప‌వ‌న్‌క‌ల్యాణ్.. సాయిధ‌ర‌మ్ తేజ్‌ల మ‌ధ్య స‌న్నివేశాలు సినిమాకి ప్ర‌ధాన‌బ‌లం. ఇద్ద‌రి పాత్ర‌లూ ఆక‌ట్టుకుంటాయి. ప‌వ‌న్‌కల్యాణ్‌ అభిమానుల్ని మెప్పించే మేనరిజ‌మ్స్‌తో అద‌ర‌గొడితే... సాయిధ‌ర‌మ్ తేజ్ పాత్ర మంచి డ్రామాని పండిస్తుంది. అటు అభిమానులూ... ఇటు సాధార‌ణ ప్రేక్ష‌కులూ సంతృప్తిప‌డేలా స‌న్నివేశాలు ఉంటాయి. సాయిధ‌ర‌మ్ తేజ్ ప్రేయ‌సిగా కేతిక శ‌ర్మ క‌నిపించేది కొద్దిసేపే. చిన్న పాత్రే అయినా ఓ పాటలో త‌న అందంతో ఆక‌ట్టుకుంటుంది కేతిక‌. మ‌రో క‌థానాయిక ప్రియా వారియ‌ర్ పాత్ర ఆశ్చ‌ర్య ప‌రుస్తుంది. రోహిణి, సుబ్బ‌రాజు తదిత‌రులు అల‌వాటైన పాత్ర‌ల్లోనే క‌నిపిస్తారు. బ్ర‌హ్మానందం చిన్న పాత్ర‌లో మెరుస్తారు. వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌, రోహిణి, త‌నికెళ్ల భ‌ర‌ణి, అలీ రెజా త‌దిత‌రులు పాత్ర‌ల ప‌రిధి మేర‌కు న‌టించారు. సాంకేతికంగా సినిమా బాగుంది.  (BRO Movie Review in telugu) త‌మ‌న్ పాట‌ల కంటే నేప‌థ్య సంగీతం బాగుంటుంది. కెమెరా, ఎడిటింగ్‌,  ఆర్ట్ విభాగాలు మంచి ప‌నితీరుని క‌న‌బ‌రిచాయి. త్రివిక్ర‌మ్ ర‌చ‌న అభిమానుల్ని మెప్పించింది. సంఘ‌ర్ష‌ణ‌, భావోద్వేగాలు బ‌లంగా పండ‌క‌పోయినా స‌ముద్ర‌ఖ‌ని మాతృక‌లో చెప్పిన విష‌యాన్ని తెలుగులోనూ ప్రేక్ష‌కులకు విజ‌య‌వంతంగా చెప్పిన‌ట్టే. నిర్మాణం బాగుంది.

Bro telugu movie review: ‘బ్రో’మూవీ రివ్యూ.

‘బ్రో’కథేంటంటే.. మార్కండేయులు అలియాస్‌ మార్క్‌(సాయి ధరమ్‌ తేజ్‌) ఓ ప్రైవేట్‌ కంపెనీలో ఉద్యోగం చేస్తుంటాడు. తల్లి(రోహిణి), ఇద్దరు చెల్లెలు(ప్రియా ప్రకాశ్‌ వారియర్‌, యువ లక్ష్మీ), అమెరికాలో ఉద్యోగం చేసే తమ్ముడు ఇదే తనలోకం. చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి కుటుంబ బాధ్యతలు తనే చూసుకుంటాడు. సమయాన్ని వృధా చేయకుండా ప్రతిక్షణం డబ్బు సంపాదన మీదే పెడతాడు. చివరకు తన ప్రియురాలు రమ్య(కేతిక శర్మ)తో కూడా సరదాగా గడపలేడు. అలా ఉరుకుల పరుగుల జీవితాన్ని గడుపుతున్న మార్క్‌ ఓ రోజు ప్రమాదానికి గురై చనిపోతాడు. అతని ఆత్మ అంధకారంలోకి వెళ్తుంది. అక్కడ ఓ వెలుగు ద్వారా టైంగాడ్‌ టైటాన్‌(పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్‌) ప్రత్యక్షమవుతాడు. తనకు చాలా బాధ్యతలు ఉన్నాయని, కొన్ని రోజులు బతికే చాన్స్‌ ఇవ్వమని టైటాన్‌ని వేడుకుంటాడు మార్కండేయ. టైటాన్‌ అతనికి 90 రోజుల సమయం ఇస్తాడు. మరి ఈ 90 రోజుల్లో మార్కండేయ తన బాధ్యతలు నెరవేర్చాడా? ఈ క్రమంలో అతను ఏం నేర్చుకున్నాడు? అనేదే మిగతా కథ. 

ఎలా ఉందంటే.. మూడేళ్ల క్రితం విడుదల విడుదలైన వినోదయ సిత్తం అనే తమిళ చిత్రానికి తెలుగు రీమేక్‌ ఇది. జీవితంలో ఓ వ్యక్తికి రెండో చాన్స్‌ వస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుంది? దానిని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుంటాడా? ఆయన అనుకున్న పనులన్నీ జరుగుతాయా? లేదా? అనే నేపథ్యంలో ఈ కథ సాగుతుంది. అయితే మాతృకకు, తెలుగు ‘బ్రో’కు చాలా వ్యత్యాసం ఉంది. పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్‌ని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని చాలా మార్పులు చేశారు.

అక్కడ రెండో చాన్స్‌ వయసు అయిపోయిన ఓ ముసలాయనకు వస్తే.. ఇక్కడ రెండో చాన్స్‌ ఓ యువకుడికి వస్తుంది. అలాగే అక్కడ టైంగాడ్‌ పాత్ర నిడివి చాలా తక్కువ, కానీ తెలుగులో టైంగాడ్‌ దాదాపు సినిమా మొత్తం ఉంటాడు. అయితే ఈ మార్పులు ఫ్యాన్స్‌ని అలరిస్తాయి కానీ సాధారణ ప్రేక్షకులను మాత్రం అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోలేవు. లుక్స్‌ పరంగా మాత్రం వింటేజ్‌ పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్‌ని తెరపై చూస్తారు.

సినిమా ప్రారంభమైన పది నిమిషాలకే పవన్‌ ఎంట్రీ ఉంటుంది. ఆ తర్వాత ఎలాంటి సాగదీత లేకుండా అసలు కథ ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. సాయితేజ్‌ తో కలిసి పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్‌ భూమి మీదకు వచ్చకా..అక్కడ జరిగే కొన్ని కామెడీ సన్నివేశాలు నవ్వులు పూయిస్తాయి. ఎమోషనల్‌ సీన్స్‌ సోసోగా ఉంటాయి. ప్రతిసారి పవన్‌ని ఎలివేట్‌ చేస్తూ చూపించడం ప్యాన్స్‌ని అలరిస్తుంది, కానీ సాధారణ ప్రేక్షకుడికి అతిగా అనిపిస్తుంది.

ఈ  సినిమాలో ఎక్కువ శాతం పవన్ కల్యాణ్ పాత పాటలను పెట్టడం కూడా మైనస్సే. ఒకటి రెండు సన్నివేశాలు అంటే ఓకే కానీ, సినిమా మొత్తం అదే ఉంటే చూసే ప్రేక్షకుడికి ఇబ్బందిగా ఉంటుంది. ఈ చిత్రం విషయం లోను అదే జరిగింది. ఇంటర్వెల్‌ బ్యాంగ్‌ కూడా ఫ్యాన్స్‌ కోసమే చేశారు. సెకండాఫ్‌ కాస్త ఎమోషనల్‌గా సాగుతుంది. అయితే సాయితేజ్‌ పాత్ర పడే సంఘర్షణ, భావోద్వేగాలు ప్రేక్షకులకు చేరవయ్యేలా తీయడంలో దర్శకుడు విఫలం అయ్యాడు. కథ, కథనం బాగున్నప్పటికీ.. ఏదో మిస్‌ అయిందనే ఫీలింగ్‌ కలుగుతుంది.

ఎవరెలా చేశారంటే.. ఈ చిత్రంలో హీరో సాయి తేజ్‌ అయినప్పటికీ సినిమా మొత్తం పవన్‌ కల్యాణ్‌ పాత్ర ఉంటుంది. టైంగాడ్‌ టైటాన్‌గా పవన్‌ తనదైన నటనతో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. తెరపై వింటేజ్‌ పవన్‌ను చూస్తారు. ఇక మార్క్‌ పాత్రకు తేజ్‌ న్యాయం చేశాడు. రోడ్డు ప్రమాదం తర్వాత తేజ్‌ బాడీలో మార్పులు వచ్చాయి. కాస్త బొద్దుగా అయ్యాడు.అది స్క్రీన్‌పై స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తుంది. డ్యాన్స్‌ కూడా ఆకట్టుకునేలా చేయలేకపోయాడు.

మార్క్‌ లవర్‌ రమ్యగా కేతికా శర్మ ఉన్నంతలో పర్వాలేదు. హీరో చెల్లెలు గాయత్రిగా ప్రియాప్రకాశ్‌ వారియర్‌ చక్కగా నటించింది. బ్రహ్మానందం ఒకే​ ఒక సన్నివేశంలో కనిపిస్తాడు. హీరో తల్లిగా రోహిణి, బాస్‌గా వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌తో పాటు మిలిగిన నటీనటులు తమ పాత్రల పరిధిమేర నటించారు.

ఇక సాంకేతిక విషయాలకొస్తే.. తమన్‌ సంగీతం జస్ట్‌ ఓకే. కొన్ని పాటలు బలవంతంగా ఇరికించినట్లు అనిపిస్తాయి. నేపథ్య సంగీతం బాగుంది. స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే, డైలాగ్స్‌లో తివిక్రమ్‌ మార్క్‌ అంతగా కనిపించదు. సుజీత్ వాసుదేవ్ సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. ఎడిటింగ్‌ క్రిస్పీగా ఉంది.  నిర్మాణ విలువలు సినిమా స్థాయికి తగ్గట్లు ఉన్నతంగా ఉన్నాయి. -అంజి శెట్టి, సాక్షి వెబ్‌డెస్క్‌

BRO Movie Review: పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ ప్రధాన పాత్రధారులుగా తెరకెక్కిన తాజా మూవీ బ్రో. తమిళంలో సూపర్ హిట్గా నిలిచిన వినోదయ సిత్తం అనే సినిమాని తెలుగులో బ్రో పేరుతో రీమేక్ చేశారు. తమిళ సినిమాలో సముద్రఖని పోషించిన పాత్రను తెలుగులో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ పోషించగా అక్కడ తంబి రామయ్య పోషించిన పాత్రను తెలుగులో సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ పోషించారు. తమిళ దర్శకుడు సముద్రఖని ఈ సినిమాని తెలుగులో కూడా డైరెక్ట్ చేశారు. అయితే తెలుగు నీటివిటీకి తగినట్లుగా త్రివిక్రమ్ సినిమాకి డైలాగ్స్ అందించడమే కాక స్క్రీన్ ప్లే కూడా అందించారు. ఈ సినిమా అనౌన్స్ చేసినప్పటి నుంచి సినిమా మీద భారీ అంచనాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. అయితే ఆ అంచనాలను రెట్టింపు చేసేలా సినిమా ప్రమోషనల్ స్టఫ్ ఉంది. అలా భారీ అంచనాలతో ఈ శుక్రవారం నాడు బ్రో సినిమా ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చేసింది. మరి ఆ అంచనాలను బ్రో సినిమా ఎంతవరకు అందుకుంది అనేది ఇప్పుడు రివ్యూలో చూద్దాం.

కథ ఏమిటంటే? ఒక పెద్ద టెక్స్టైల్ కంపెనీలో అసిస్టెంట్ జనరల్ మేనేజర్ గా పని చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు మార్కండేయులు అలియాస్ మార్క్( సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్). ఒక సగటు మధ్యతరగతి ఉద్యోగిగా మార్కండేయులు జీవితంలో దేనికీ సరిగా సమయం కేటాయించలేక ప్రతి చిన్న విషయానికి టైం లేదు టైం లేదు అంటూ ఉరుకుల పరుగులతో జీవిస్తూ ఉంటాడు. పెళ్లీడుకు వచ్చిన చెల్లి( ప్రియా ప్రకాష్ వారియర్) చదువుకుంటున్న మరో చెల్లి(యువ లక్ష్మీ) అమెరికాలో కొత్తగా ఉద్యోగంలో చేరిన తమ్ముడు, అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతున్న తల్లి( రోహిణి) వీరందరిని ఎలా అయినా లైఫ్ లో సెటిల్ చేయాలని కష్టపడుతూ ఉంటాడు. అలా ఉరుకులు పరుగులతో జీవిస్తున్న అతను అనుకోకుండా రోడ్డు ప్రమాదానికి గురై మరణిస్తాడు. అయితే అక్కడే అతనికి టైం ( పవన్ కల్యాణ్) ఒక మనిషి రూపంలో ఎదురు వస్తుంది. తాను 30 ఏళ్లకే చనిపోవడం ఏ మాత్రం కరెక్ట్ కాదని చక్కదిద్దాల్సిన పనులు కొన్ని ఉన్నాయి అని చెబితే 90 రోజులు జీవించేలా అవకాశం ఇస్తానని టైం మాటిస్తాడు. ఆ 90 రోజులలో మార్క్ చేయాలనుకున్న పనులు ఏమిటి? మార్క్ అనుకున్నవన్నీ జరిగాయా? మార్క్ తో లైఫ్ షేర్ చేసుకోవాలనుకున్న రమ్య (కేతిక శర్మ) ఏమైంది? చివరికి మార్క్ తొంబై రోజుల తర్వాత బతికే ఉంటాడా? లేదా? అనే విషయాలు తెలుసుకోవాలంటే సినిమా చూడాల్సిందే.

విశ్లేషణ: సాధారణంగానే రీమేక్ సినిమాలు అంటే అందరిలోనూ ఒక రకమైన ఆసక్తి ఏర్పడుతుంది. ఎందుకంటే ఒరిజినల్ గా హిట్ అయిన సినిమాలే ఇతర భాషల్లో రీమేక్ చేస్తూ ఉంటారు. కాబట్టి అలా ఇక్కడ హిట్ అవ్వాలంటే ఖచ్చితంగా చాలా ఫ్యాక్టర్స్ ప్రభావితం చేస్తూ ఉంటాయి. కాబట్టి రీమేక్ సినిమాల మీద అందరి దృష్టి పడుతుంది. అలాగే ఈ బ్రో సినిమా మీద కూడా అందరి దృష్టి పడింది. అయితే తమిళ మాతృకకు తెలుగు బ్రో సినిమాకి చాలా వ్యత్యాసం ఉంటుంది. అక్కడ వయసు అయిపోయిన వ్యక్తికి జీవితంలో రెండో అవకాశం ఇస్తే ఇక్కడ ఒక యువకుడికి రెండో అవకాశం ఇచ్చినట్లయింది. నిజానికి సినిమా నిడివి కూడా చాలా తక్కువే కాబట్టి ఎక్కడా సాగదీయకుండా సుత్తి లేకుండా చెప్పాల్సిన విషయాన్ని క్లియర్గా చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు మేకర్స్. సినిమా మొదలైన పదో నిమిషంలోనే పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ఎంట్రీతో సినిమా కిక్ స్టార్ట్ అవుతుంది. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత తేజ్ కి రెండోసారి జీవించే అవకాశం ఇవ్వడం, ఆ తరువాత డిజైన్ చేసుకున్న సీన్లు ఆకట్టుకునేలా ఉన్నాయి. ఫస్ట్ ఆఫ్ మొత్తం తేజ్ ఏదైతే ఒక భ్రమలో బతికేస్తున్నాడో ఆ భ్రమను తొలగించే ప్రయత్నం చేయగా సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో మాత్రం త్రివిక్రమ్ మార్క్ డైలాగ్స్ తో అదరగొట్టారు. మీ మనుషులందరూ భస్మాసురుడి వారసులు, నిన్ను నరకం నుంచే నేను స్వర్గానికి తీసుకు వెళుతున్నాను, రేపటి కోసం ఈరోజు తప్పులు చేయకు వంటి త్రివిక్రమ్ మార్క్ డైలాగులు గుర్తుండి పోయేలా రాసుకున్నాడు. నిజానికి ఫస్ట్ ఆఫ్ లో ఎక్కువగా పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సాంగ్స్ తో ఫ్యాన్స్ ను ఆకట్టుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. గతంలోని పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సూపర్ హిట్ సాంగ్స్ అన్నింటినీ సినిమా కోసం వాడారు. ఫాన్స్ మాత్రం ఈ సాంగ్స్ వచ్చినప్పుడల్లా పండుగ చేసుకుంటారు. అయితే కామన్ ఆడియన్స్ కి కొంత ఈ పాటలు ఎబ్బెట్టుగా అనిపించవచ్చు. అనుకోకుండా లైఫ్ లో సెకండ్ ఛాన్స్ వస్తే దానిని ఎలా ఒక యువకుడు సద్వినియోగం చేసుకున్నాడు అనే చిన్న లైన్ తో ఈ సినిమా మొత్తాన్ని తెలుగు నేటివిటీకి తగినట్టు తెరకెక్కించడంలో సముద్రఖని దాదాపుగా సఫలం అయ్యాడు. త్రివిక్రమ్ మారకు డైలాగులు కూడా ఆద్యంతం ఆకట్టుకుంటాయి.

నటీనటుల విషయానికి వస్తే ఈ సినిమాలో మార్క్ అనే పాత్రలో కనిపించిన సాయి ధరంతేజ్ తన పాత్రకు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో న్యాయం చేశాడు. 30 ఏళ్లకే బండెడు కష్టాలు భుజాన వేసుకున్న వ్యక్తి పాత్రలో ఆకట్టుకునేలా నటించాడు. ఒక ఈ సినిమాకి స్టార్ అట్రాక్షన్ అయిన పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ కనిపించినప్పుడల్లా ఏదో తెలియని ఎనర్జీ స్క్రీన్ ను ఆవహించినట్లు చేసాడు. కేతిక శర్మ సాయి ధరంతేజ్ సరసన నటించిన పాత్రకు పెద్దగా ప్రాధాన్యత దక్కలేదు. ప్రియ ప్రకాష్ వారియర్ , రోహిణి , యువలక్ష్మి వంటి వాళ్లకు కాస్త పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, సాయి ధరంతేజ్ తర్వాత ఎక్కువ స్క్రీన్ స్పేస్ లభించింది. వారు తమ తమ పాత్రల పరిధి మేరకు నటించారు. సముద్రఖని కనిపించింది ఒక సీన్ లోనైనా ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. ఇక మిగతా పాత్రధారులు సైతం తమ తమ పాత్రలకు న్యాయం చేశారు. ఆల్రెడీ తమిళంలో హిట్టు కొట్టిన సినిమాని తెలుగులో రీమేక్ చేసే విషయంలో సముద్రఖని చాలా వరకు సక్సెస్ అయ్యారు. దానికి త్రివిక్రమ్ మార్క్ డైలాగులు స్క్రీన్ ప్లే తోడవడంతో కొంత మ్యాజిక్ కూడా కనిపించింది. సుజిత్ వాసుదేవ్ సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ సినిమాకు బాగా ప్లస్ అయింది. తమన్ బ్యాక్గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ తో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు అలాగే కొన్ని సాంగ్స్ మాత్రమే కాదు విజువల్ గా కూడా బాగున్నాయి. ఎడిటింగ్ చాలా క్రిస్పీగా ఉంది. అయితే సినిమాలో వాడిన కంప్యూటర్ గ్రాఫిక్స్ విషయంలో కొంత కేర్ తీసుకుని ఉంటే బాగుండేది.

Naveen Chandra, Avika Gor's upcoming film titled interestingly as BRO attracted the attention of all with their unique promotions. The film directed by Karthik Thupurani is streaming on Sony Liv. Let us see what BRO offered to movie lovers.

Story Review

Since childhood Madhav (Naveen Chandra) loves his little sister Subhadra aka Subbu (Avika Gor) a lot. However, circumstances force him to stay away from her in Dubai. Where this leads to and whether his relationship with his sister will be the same when he returns after many years, how his childhood love Radha (Sanjana Sarathy) and Subbu's love Savyasachi (Sai Ronak) are connected should be found out on screen.

Artists, Technicians Review

Director Karthik Thupurani decided to highlight the brother-sister relation in a novel manner and in order to do so, he drew inspiration from Malayalam film Koode by Anjali Menon and is the remake of the Marathi film Happy Journey. Tollywood filmmakers touched upon brother-sister relationships many times and so coming to the story, offers nothing new.

However, Karthik Thupurani decided to balance the brother-sister sentiment blending them with good entertaining elements. Though the film boils down to fulfilling the last death wish, it doesn't turn melodramatic. But for all his hard work, he underplayed the emotions and the fantasy element did not connect chords with the viewers. The writing failed and he should have concentrated on elevating the emotions to another level.

Repetitive scenes creep in after an interesting start and the director loses track deviating from the main plot. He overdid by comparing Naveen Chandra to Krishna and lifting the problems of his family like Krishna lifting Govardhanagiri. Romantic elements are not elevated either in the case of Naveen Chandra and Sanjana or Avika Gor and Sai Ronak.

Naveen Chandra performed well in the emotional role. He showed variations as a youngster who loves football, who misses his sister dearly, works hard for his family, and then suffers the shocking loss. Avika Gor performed the role of Naveen Chandra's sister in a bubbly and lively manner. She attracted with her cute expressions.

Sanjana Sarathy and Sai Ronak got good roles to showcase their performances but they at times did well and at times faultered. Devi Prasad, Srilakshmi, and others performed according to their roles. Sekhar Chandra's music is good and soulful and the background score is in sync with the storyline. His background score gave a good feel to the viewers. Azeez Mohamad with his cinematography captured the scenic locations of Araku in an appealing manner. Viplav Nyshadham's editing could have been better are there are many repetitive scenes that dragged the film.

Karthik Thupurani on debut dared to be different and decided to highlight the brother-sister bonding in a romantic entertainer. He tried to rehash the Marathi and Malayalam films but despite his best efforts, he failed to take the brother-sister emotions to another level to connect chords with the viewers. He failed to do the same with the romantic elements. Thus it turned half-baked and as the story is routine, except for a few scenes and climax, Karthik couldn't propel Bro-to another level with his screenplay and direction. Considering all these points, CJ goes with a 2.5 rating, BRO.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej are teaming up for the first time in BRO. The film directed by Samuthirakani is inspired by the Tamil film Vinodaya Sitham. BRO is carrying decent expectations and is hitting the screens today. Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Warrier played other important roles. Top director Trivikram worked on the screenplay and dialogues for the Telugu version. Bollywood beauty Urvashi Rautela danced for a special number. People Media Factory and Zee Studios are the producers. Here is the review

Story: Mark alias Markandeyulu (Sai Dharam Tej) is the breadwinner of the family. After losing his father at a young age, Mark raises his brother and two sisters. Mark is a principled family head who is loved by all at home and in the office. The fantasy turn in the story is his happy life abruptly ending in an accident and since then backed by the TIME character (played by Pawan Kalyan). Mark gets a 90-day extension to his life and the rest of the story is what happens in the 90-day grace period.

BRO film has been adapted from a Tamil film called ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’. Directed by the same director Samuthirakani, who handled the original, this Telugu film ‘BRO’ outcome is a mixed bag. To improvise the film on the commercial front, the Telugu version team has overly dependent on power star pawan kalyan’s charismatic past. The writing team has compiled all Pawan Kalyan hit songs, and inserted them throughout the film sometimes perfectly syncs with the context, sometimes forcibly. In the first half the theme worked out and appeared entertaining. Pawan Kalyan as TIME shows up in various characters and entertains fans. His costumes and histrionics are of his top-class form. The subtle political flavor dialogues are smartly embedded without being out of place.

The main story is philosophical in nature, the climax summarizes the essence of modern days life very well. However, this essence of the film is overshadowed by elements added to appeal to Pawan’s fans. At some point, this film appears as if we are watching a Pawan Kalyan AV played in audio functions or in prerelease functions. There is not much scope for songs, but the songs that exist are decent. Production values by ‘people media factory’ are adequate. The VFX work could have been better though. Trivikram’s  improvisation doesn’t help much other than inserting fans stuff

Performances:

Pawan Kalyan rescues this film with his screen presence.  Sai Dharam Tej acted adequately as Mark. However, in the dance sequences apparently, he is not comfortable yet. Brahmanandam appears in one scene, and it is a good one. Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani had very limited roles. Primarily the entire film is carried out between Pawan and Sai Dharam Tej.

Bro film works only for fans, subpar experience for all others. 'Bro' Movie Review: What The Hell, Bro!

Although there isn't as much hype surrounding it compared to Pawan Kalyan’s previous films, "Bro" is certainly one of the most anticipated films of the year. In the film, Pawan Kalyan played a god, and it also starred his nephew, Sai Dharam Tej. 

Let's see how this film turned out.

Story: Mark (Sai Dharam Tej) is the oldest of three siblings, with two sisters and a younger brother. He lives with his mother and sisters, and he is always looking for ways to make money, never giving his time to anyone, not even his girlfriend Ramya (Ketika Sharma). In addition, he is a control freak.

He gets killed in a car accident on his way from Vizag to Hyderabad.

Mark begs Time, also known as Titan (Pawan Kalyan), the god of time, for more time so that he can complete his duties. Titan agrees, but only for the next 90 days.

How will Titan teach Mark the true meaning of life in the next 90 days, and what will Mark do in those 90 days?

Artistes’ Performances: Pawan Kalyan appears throughout the movie. Despite denying being God and referring to himself as Time, Pawan Kalyan's role is intended to be another version of "Gopala Gopala." His style, reminiscent of some of his older films, seems okay at first, but the role becomes more casual after a while. Pawan Kalyan's only activity in the film is walking or sitting and mouthing philosophical dialogues.

Sai Dharam Tej fits the bill. The main road accident in the story resembles his real-life accident. However, his performance is fairly routine, and he appears to be out of shape.

The banter between Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej contains moments of laughter, which may appeal more to fans than to the general audience.

Priya Prakash Varrier portrays Sai Dharam Tej's sister. Ketika Sharma's screen time is limited. Vennela Kishore, Prudhvi, as well as Tanikella Bharani play irrelevant roles. Raja Chembolu is okay.

Technical Excellence: Among the technical departments, cinematography is one that stands out. Sujith Vasudevan's work is especially noticeable in the sequences of Pawan Kalyan's entrance and the final scenes.

Thaman's songs aren't particularly catchy. The dialogues are merely adequate, nothing to write home about.

Analysis "Bro" is a remake of the Tamil film "Vinodaya Sitham," which was also directed by Samuthirakani. Simply put, it's the tale of a man who, after dying, is given the opportunity to make amends for his mistakes. The storyline is extremely familiar.

There are two major changes in the Telugu adaptation. In the Tamil version, the protagonist is a middle-aged man with a wife and two daughters. Here, the protagonist is a young man played by Sai Dharam Tej. Another difference is the casting of a major star like Pawan Kalyan in the part of "time." In the Tamil version, Samuthirakani played the role of "time."

Although these two alterations may have held promise on paper, they are not effective on the screen.

The first half of the film moves quickly, establishing Sai Dharam Tej's family and life, as well as the accident and his meeting with time. Time agreeing to give Sai Dharam Tej another 90 days to live, and so on, are narrated with a dose of comedy. Pawan Kalyan recreating some of his popular songs sounded funny at first. However, after the intermission, the film takes a complete 180-degree turn. It becomes too simple to take the proceedings seriously.

The writing's hollowness comes to life in the second half. All of the incidents or sequences are overly predictable. Furthermore, Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's bar conversation and Tanikella Bharani's comedy track look ridiculous. The character of Prudhvi has no significance in the story.

Pawan Kalyan's re-enactment of old songs has also grown tedious at this point. In one scene, Pawan Kalyan simply rolls on top of a vehicle and laughs. Such sequences demonstrate that the team does not have enough material for the runtime.

Though the story's philosophy and message - everything happens for a reason and that we should treat others with kindness and compassion - are admirable, the resolution is too formulaic. 

Attempts to make Pawan Kalyan's character more commercial have backfired and hurt the story. The soul of the original movie is gone. This is why the story loses its momentum in the important and final act.

Plus, the soundtrack is not the film's strong suit.

Overall, "Bro" has a promising start, and Pawan Kalyan's early sequences are entertaining, but the film loses steam as it becomes more routine. It also has plastic emotions. There is a lack of strength in the writing, and the important sequences feel rushed.

Bro review: This rehashed ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’ fails to quit beating around the bush

If you analyse 'Bro' as it happens, it probably wouldn't have worked for any other film personality other than Pawan Kalyan.

“Never commit a mistake today for a better tomorrow!” This dialogue of Pawan Kalyan, uttered to Sai Dharam Tej, may seem as though he is sending out a message to his political rivals.

But it also innately reflects Pawan Kalyan’s vision which may be ideal but impractical.

Before you debate whether this dialogue is political or apolitical, the story of Bro can be summed up in this one phrase.

Markandeya (Sai Dharam Tej) is a corporate professional who believes in being loyal to the company. He thinks that if he remains with the company and believes in the company’s growth for a long period, he will feel valued and appreciated.

While enjoying the perks in the corporate sector, he takes good care of his mum (Rohini), his two sisters (Priya Prakash Varrier and Yuva Lakshmi), and his young brother (played by Surya Srinivas).

If there is one that he cannot lend… it is time. He gets killed when his car topples on a ring road.

What if he is sent to Earth again for 90 days? How shocking would it be for Mark (Markandeya) when he witnesses his life, which till then seemed so comfortable to him. That is the story of Bro , in a nutshell.

The off-screen image of Pawan Kalyan sometimes doesn’t make you gauge his onscreen performance properly.

But if you analyse Bro as it happens, the movie probably wouldn’t have worked for any other film personality other than him.

Also, you may not find enough credence to say that Kalyan outperformed everyone.

You would get to see the same mannerisms that he has been doing since the days of Tholi Prema (1998) and Thammudu (1999).

And probably, his role in Bro as an eternal being “Time” has slightly more depth than Gopala Gopala (2015).

His character tries to explain to Mark how the primaeval “time” existed from the beginning and has no end. And if one knows about the magic of time in the material world, he would probably become an enlightened being.

This metaphysical philosophy may seem too heavy for the common man. It could have been properly conveyed when it is shown on screen.

Weight of pawan kalyan’s image.

The first half of Bro involves beating around the bush, as far as Pawan Kalyan’s character is concerned.

“ Emi Sodhara Manasuku Emaindiraa ..” from Tholi Prema is played to console the devastated Mark.

And then, he dances to the tunes of “ Sarigama Padanisa karo karo jara jalsa ..” from Jalsa (2022), during the party time to pump up Mark’s spirits.

Director Samuthirakani probably succumbed to the demands of showing Pawan Kalyan as a larger-than-life character.

All unimportant things come randomly because the story doesn’t want to talk about the process of the plot.

And you probably would be the most unfortunate if you were unknowingly seated behind a bunch of Jana Sena supporters or Pawan Kalyan fans — except for whistles nothing goes to your brain.

Samuthirakani would have done a far more better job if Trivikram had not been the dialogue writer.

When Mark’s mother Rohini is rushed to the hospital, Sanjay Swarup, who played a doctor’s role tells Mark, “ Parkinson’s disease dabbulu unna vallake vastundhi ” (Parkinson’s disease only affects rich people).

This is when Mark is not left with a single penny because he just has resigned from his job. It looks ridiculous to hear a dialogue written by someone like Trivikram.

Performances.

Sai Dharam Tej as a corporate professional looks visually good. But he somehow couldn’t get into the skin of the character.

Pawan Kalyan has not much meat apart from uttering a few philosophically-logical dialogues.

Ketika Sharma remains herself to be Mark’s honest love interest.

Priya Prakash and Rohini as the former’s mother and sister, respectively, have done well within their space.

S Thaman has seriously nothing much to show of his creative side because Kalyan’s old chartbusters keep coming randomly when he has a task to massage Mark’s ego or to change his mood.

Sujith Vaassudev’s cinematography is okay but not commendable.

Bro is simply a rehashed remake of Vinodhaya Sitham (2021), cautiously made while adjusting commercial meters, to titillate the taste buds of Pawan Kalyan’s fans.

Focusing on “now” — the present moment — the film would have scored a hit had the director added more depth.

Along with the message, there is political banter, too.

Well, Kalyan censures his rivals severely through Bro as he says, “ Ippudu right ga untey eppudu goppaga untav ” (If you follow the righteousness, you’ll always be blessed)!

Mark, aka Markandaya (Sai Dharam Tej), has too many responsibilities on his shoulders. He has to take care of his family, comprising of brother, sister and mother. Amidst all this, he forgets to live his life and always chases for a bigger position. 

One day, unfortunately, Mark meets with an accident. The movie’s basic plot is what happens when God (Pawan Kalyan) gives him time to set things right.

Performances

Pawan Kalyan has a fully jolly role playing God. It is in the same zone as Gopala Gopala, but more energetic, filled with fan moments here. The energy and swag can’t be missed from his intro to the end. The styling is also the best post his comeback. It lifts the film’s mood but gets restricted to the first half only. There was nothing much to chew for him in the second hour, even though there was scope. He can only elevate things to a level, given the content.

Sai Dharam Tej has the role of actual meat. He has to do the heavy lifting as far as emotion and action are concerned. He is okay on his part. The physicality is an issue, but he looks better than on his previous outing. The effort to do well is there, but the situations make his act passable.

Bro’s narrative heavily depends on the chemistry between the two male leads. In this department, both Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej scored initially. It is not magical, but interesting nonetheless. However, after a point, the duo lack the content to take the chemistry to the next level.

Samudrakani directs Bro. It is a remake of his Tamil original Vinodaya Sitham, released as an OTT outing. The movie is about God giving a second chance and making the person realise the value of time.

The director gets to the core point of the movie quickly without wasting much time. The characters and the world are established within the first few minutes, and God’s entry soon follows it.

The characterisation of God (played energetically by Pawan Kalyan) and the fun banter between God and Mark carry the first half. Entertainment is nothing out of the world but makes the narrative tick. The fan-pleasing moments related to Pawan Kalyan are integrated well into the proceedings.

The ride until the interval is smooth and makes one look forward to the second half despite the okayish nature.

Unfortunately, the second half of the movie falters in engaging the viewer. The writing and situations are the culprits here. The former lacks depth, whereas the latter lacks relatability. Both are essential to lift the narrative to the next level, but it doesn’t happen.

The bond between God and Mark, too, feels stretched here. The entertainment which worked in the first half feels stretched and lacks the punch. It feels like Trivikram is trying too hard and yet visibly failing.

And finally, the critical emotional block has zero connection. The whole setting and the actors go through the motions artificially. It all feels inorganic and formulaic, ticking the boxes to complete the narrative. The ending message is good, but it’s a little too late.

The second half has a lot of scope, but the utter lack of effort to deliver on either count – fun or emotion- is the biggest disappointment. It feels as if the writer and director thought it enough (when it isn’t) and didn’t try anything at all.

Overall, Bro offers somewhat fresh, yet familiar plot. However, the content fails to generate the emotions. It leaves one disinterested by the end. Give it a try for the theme and decent fun initially, but keep the expectations firmly under check.

Kethika Sharma has a forgettable outing. She appears in a song in the first half and then a few scenes later disappears. She then appears in the second half intermittently and is gone. Priya Prakash Varrior, too, has a random part that fails to register. 

Rohini has a vital role in the proceedings but has been entirely wasted. Vennela Kishore does his usual, whereas Pruthvi appears briefly in what looks like a clear dig at a politician in the news.

SS Thaman has disappointed with the songs. There is no doubt in that regard. However, he makes up for it with the background score. It is pleasant and fresh and devoid of the usual cacophony associated with mass outings. However, the second half doesn’t register even on that count, as it lacks the meat. 

Sujith Vaassudevan’s cinematography is neat without overemphasis on visuals. The narrative looks clean and crisp when the regular drama happens. The visual effects could have been better. Trivikram’s writing works in parts only. The comedy is alright, but it is still nowhere near his best. The emotional blocks lack his trademark depth. It doesn’t feel like he has put his heart into it. The production values are okay.

Final Report:

Overall, BRO is partly entertaining with a somewhat fresh, yet familiar plot, but it lacks emotions and full-fledged fun. It ends up as a watchable fare at best. Not enough Bro!

First half of BRO is decent. The PK-SDT combo generates humor, and Thaman’s BGM complements the theme effectively. PK’s popular songs are placed perfectly. Second half holds the key now.
