मेरा प्रिय जानवर, जैसे ही यह विषय सामने आता है, हमारे पसंदीदा जानवर की एक झलक हमारे दिमाग में आ जाती है। मेरा पसंदीदा जानवर एक कुत्ता है। यूँ तो कुत्ते बहुत ही समझदार और वफादार जानवर होते हैं और इसके अलावा वे काफी मजाकिया भी होते हैं। पालतू जानवरों के रूप में ज्यादातर हम कुत्तों को ही देखते हैं और वह भी अलग-अलग नस्ल और किस्मों के। मुझे कुत्तों के लिए बड़ा जुनून और प्यार है। मुझे वे सबसे वफादार और प्यारे प्राणी लगते हैं।

मेरा प्रिय जानवर एक कुत्ता है, ऐसा देखा जाता है कि अधिकांश लोगों को कुत्तों से प्यार है और इसलिए हम ज्यादातर घरों में पालतू जानवरों के रूप में कुत्तों को देख सकते हैं। कुत्तों ने मनुष्य के प्रति अपने वफादार रवैये को साबित किया है। यह प्राचीन काल से ही देखा जा सकता है। यहां तक कि प्राचीन समय में भी इन्सान कुत्तों को पालते थे। गाँवों में, हम कुत्तों को वहाँ के लोगों के साथ एक परिवार की तरह रहते हुए देख सकते हैं।

कुत्ता के बारे में

एक कुत्ते की वफादार प्रकृति

कई कारकों के वजह से हाथी लगातार अपनी संख्या में भारी कमी का सामना कर रहे हैं :

अवैध शिकार की गतिविधियाँ हाथियों के विलुप्तिकरण के प्रमुख कारणों में से एक हैं। एक हाथी के दांत की बाजार में काफी ऊँची कीमत होती है और इसका उपयोग कई कीमती वस्तुओं को बनाने में किया जाता है। अपने दांत की कीमत अधिकतर हाथियों को अपनी जान देकर चुकानी पड़ती है। हाथी दांत को बाहर निकालने की प्रक्रिया वाकई में बहुत ही दुःसाध्य है। इसके अलावा हाथियों के मांस और त्वचा के लिए भी उनका शिकार किया जाता है।
मानव बस्तियों में विस्तार के परिणामस्वरूप हाथियों की जीवित प्रजातियों की संख्या लगातार कम होते जा रही है, उनके आश्रय और भोजन की सुविधाएं भी नष्ट हो रही हैं। उन्हें अधिक भोजन के साथ-साथ बड़े स्थान की आवश्यकता होती है, इस प्रकार यदि यह उपलब्ध न हो तो यह इन हाथियों को विलुप्त होने की ओर ले जाएगा।
हाथी भी विभिन्न संक्रमणों और बीमारी से प्रभावित होते हैं, इस प्रकार अक्सर उनकी समय से पहले ही मृत्यु हो जाती है।
हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, हाथियों को भगवान गणेश की निशानी माना जाता है और वे पूजा के अधीन होते हैं, वहीँ दूसरी ओर मांस, त्वचा और उसके दांत को प्राप्त करने के लिए वे मार दिए जाते हैं।

केरल की घटना – हाथी की मौत से संबंधित

मनुष्य की अमानवीय व्यवहार का खुलासा 5 जून, 2020 को तब हुआ था, जब हमें यह सुनने में आया कि विस्फोटक से भरे अनानास के सेवन के कारण एक हाथी की मौत हो गयी। सबसे ज्यादा दुखद तो यह था कि वह हाथी गर्भवती थी। यह कुछ खाने की तलाश में गाँव आई थी और गाँव के ही कुछ लोगों द्वारा उसे अनानास खिलाया गया। जानवर को मनुष्यों पर विश्वास था, इसलिए उसने वह फल खाया, लेकिन अनानास विस्फोटक से भरा और पेट में जाते ही फट गया जिसकी वजह से हाथी की पूरी आंत और पाचन तंत्र जल गया। वह दु:ख और दर्द से मर गई; वह इस बात से और भी ज्यादा पीड़ित हुई होगी कि वह अपने अजन्मे बच्चे को भी नहीं बचा पाई।

ऐसी घटिया हरकत को सुनकर मैं हैरान रह गया और रोने लगा। मेरे दिमाग में जो विचार आया, वह यह था कि कोई क्रूरता के इस स्तर तक कैसे पहुंच सकता है। इसे लेकर काफी खबरें भी आईं थीं। जानवर ऐसे प्राणी हैं जो बोल नहीं सकते हैं और अगर वे हम पर भरोसा करते हैं, तो हमें अपने प्यार और वफादारी को साबित करना चाहिए न कि उन्हें पीड़ित करना चाहिए।

हाथी वे प्राणी हैं जो सबसे समझदार, दयालु, संवेदनशील और देखभाल करने वाले होते हैं। वे प्राचीन समय से ही मानव जाति के साथ रहते आ रहे हैं। लेकिन विकास की दौड़ हमारे कई जंगली जानवरों को समाप्त करते जा रही है। हाथी भी बहुत जोखिम में हैं। उन्हें सरकार और सार्वजनिक प्रयास दोनों द्वारा संरक्षित किया जाना चाहिए।

My Favourite Animal – Dog

कुत्ता एक पालतू पशु है। यह मनुष्य के साथ रह सकता है। कुत्ता अपने मालिक की वफादारी के लिए पूरे संसार में प्रसिद्ध है। यह अपने मालिक के लिए अपने प्राण तक न्योछावर कर सकता है। कुत्ते सड़कों, गलियों, मुहल्लों में आसानी से देखे जा सकते हैं। बहुत से धनी घरों में कुत्ते सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से पाले जाते हैं। रात में जब घर में सब सो जाते हैं तब कुत्ता जागकर अपने मालिक तथा उसके घर की रक्षा करता है। अनेक लोग शौक के लिए भी कुत्ता पालते हैं। किसी अजनबी को देखते हैं ही कुत्ता भौंकना शुरू कर देता है।

कुत्ते की आँखों के साथ-साथ कान भी तेज होते हैं। हल्की-सी आवाज़ पर भी उसके कान खड़े हो जाते हैं। कुत्ते की एक अन्य क्षमता इसको अन्य प्राणियों से श्रेष्ठ तथा मनुष्य का प्रिय बनाती है। यह है इसकी सूंघने की क्षमता। कुत्ते की सूंघने की क्षमता भी अत्यंत तीव्र होती है। यह जमीन में छिपी किसी संदिग्ध चीज को सूंघकर इसका पता लगा सकता है। इसलिए पुलिस विभाग तथा बम निरोधक दस्तों के अधिकारी कुत्तों को अपने साथ अनिवार्य रूप में रखते हैं। कुत्ते अपनी सूंघने की तीव्र शक्ति से बहुत-सी संदिग्ध वस्तुएँ खोजकर पुलिस की सहायता करते हैं। इसलिए कुत्ते को मानव समाज का सबसे बड़ा सेवक माना जाता है।

कुत्तों की अनेक नस्लें होती हैं। इनमें से कछ मूल्यवान होते हैं। अल्सेशियन, लैब्राडोर, डॉवरमैन कुत्तों की अति उत्तम तथा श्रेष्ठ प्रजातियाँ हैं। अब अच्छी नस्ल के कुत्तों को पालना एक प्रकार का उच्च वर्ग तथा श्रेष्ठता का चिह्न माना जाने लगा है। अब तो नगरों में ‘डॉग शो’ भी आयोजित किए जाते हैं। जहाँ सबसे सुंदर और आकर्षक कुत्ते को पुरस्कार मिलता है। कुत्तों को खरीदने-बेचने का काम भी डॉग शो में होता है। कुत्तों की प्रदर्शनी में उनकी इतनी प्रजातियाँ देखने को मिलती हैं कि हैरानी होती है। अंततः इस बात को आसानी से माना जा सकता है कि वर्तमान समाज में कुत्तों का एक विशेष महत्त्व है।

कुत्ता एक बहुत ही वफादार जानवर माना जाता है। इसीलिए पिछले 30-40 हजार सालों से इंसानो के साथ रह रहा है।

पहले इंसान कुत्तों को अपनी सुरक्षा के लिए पालते थे। कुत्ते इतने ज्यादा वफादार होते है कि एक बार जिसके ऊपर भरोसा कायम हो जाये फिर उसे दोबारा नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाते है। इसी वजह से हमारा और कुत्तों का साथ इतने लम्बे वक़्त से बना हुआ है।

दुनियाँ में हर देश के लोग कुत्ते को पालते है। अमेरिका में ही अकेले 7 करोड़ से भी ज्यादा पालतू कुत्ते है। हमारे घर में भी एक कुत्ता है जिसका नाम हमने बोबो रखा है।

बोबो मेरा सबसे अच्छा दोस्त है। मैं जब भी अकेला होता हूँ बोबो मेरे पास आकर बैठ जाता है, और मस्ती करने लगता है। उसे खेलना बहुत पसंद है और हम सब के साथ वह खेलता रहता है।

वह हमारे घर की पहरेदारी भी करता है। रात के वक़्त हम लोग बोबो को खुला बाहर छोड़ देते है। उसके लिए एक छोटा सा कमरा भी बना हुआ है, जहाँ वह रात को आराम से बैठा रहता है।

उसके लिए रात का खाना और साथ में पानी भी रख देते है,ताकि उसे जब प्यास लगे तो वह पानी पी सके.

कुछ जानवर इंसानो के लिए बहुत ही वफादार और उपयोगी होते हैं। ऐसा ही एक जानवर कुत्ता है, जो लाखों सालों से इंसानों का एक साथी बन हुआ है।

कुत्ता एक वफादार जानवर है। यह अपने मालिक से कभी भी धोखा नही करता है। इसी वजह से कुत्ता एक बहुत ही प्रिय जानवर है।

हम लोग भी कुत्तों के साथ बहुत सहज रहते हैं, इसलिए हम इन्हें पालते हैं। कुछ लोग भारत मे देशी नश्ल का कुत्ता पालते हैं, तो कुछ लोग विदेशी नश्ल के कुत्ते पालते हैं।

कुत्ते का शरीर कितना बड़ा होगा यह उनकी नश्ल पर निर्भर करता है। भारत मे पाए जाने वाले कुत्ते उतने लंबे और मोटे नही होते हैं जितना विदेशों में पाए जाने वाले कुत्ते होते हैं।

कुत्ते की सूंघने की शक्ति बहुत ही तेज होती है। कुत्ता वह सब भी सूंघ सकता है जो हम लोग नही सूंघ सकते हैं। इसी वजह से पुलिस की टीम अपने साथ कुत्ते भी रखती है।

कुत्ते का जीवन काल 15-20 वर्ष का होता है लेकिन एक कुत्ता था जो 29 वर्ष तक जीवित रहा। कुत्ते के संबंध में यह भी कहा जाता है कि ये अलौकिक शक्तियों को भी देख सकते हैं जैसे कि भूत-प्रेत।

इसी वजह से कुत्ते रात के वक़्त अचानक से रोने की आवाज़ निकालने लगते हैं। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि यदि कुत्ता किसी के घर के सामने आकर रोता है तो कुछ अनिष्ट होने वाला है।

कुत्ते के संबंध में यह भी कहा जाता है कि अपने घर में सुख समृद्धि के लिए हमेशा आखिरी रोटी कुत्ते को देना चाहिए।

प्रस्तावना.

प्राचीन काल से ही मानव जानवरों के ऊपर बहुत आश्रित रहा है। फिर चाहे वह अपनी सुरक्षा के लिए हो या सामान एक जगह से दूसरे जगह ले जाने के लिए।

आज कई जानवर हमारे जीवन का एक अहम हिस्सा बन चुके हैं जिनमे से एक जानवर कुत्ता है। कुत्ता एक ऐसा जानवर है,जिसे हम पाल सकते हैं।

कुत्ते के ऊपर अध्ययन करने पर पता चलता है कि ये जानवर भेड़िए की ही एक प्रजाति है। पहले इनमे और भेड़िए में कोई अंतर नही होता था।

भेड़िए की तरह की कुत्ते भी एक शिकारी जानवर होते थे। लेकिन इंसानों के साथ रहने में कारण इनमे एक नया गुण विकसित हुआ।

ये सामाजिक जानवर बनने लगे और यह सीख गए कि इंसानों के बीच किस तरह से रहना है। तो यह कह सकते हैं कि कुत्ता एक बहुत ही समझदार जानवर भी है किसकी बुद्धि तेज है।

कुत्ते की शारीरिक बनावट.

सभी जीवो की तरह कुत्ता भी एक चार पैरों वाला जीव है। कुत्ते को अपने तेज नाखून और नुकीले दांतों के लिए जाना जाता है।

कहते हैं कि यदि कुत्ते का नाखून लग जाए या फिर कुत्ता काट लेता है तो व्यक्ति पागल हो जाता है। इसलिए कुत्ते से सावधानी भी बहुत जरूरी है।

कुत्ते के पास दो आंखे और 2 कान होते हैं। कुत्ते की एक पूँछ होती है जिसका उपयोग वह कई कामों में करता है। कुत्ता अपनी भावनाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए अपनी पूँछ का इस्तेमाल करता है।

जब कुत्ते को कोई प्यार करता है तो वह पूछ हिलाता है, गुस्सा होता है तो पूँछ स्थिर हो जाती है। कुत्ते की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति उसके नाक में होती है।

इंसानों की तुलना में कुत्ते की सूंघने की शक्ति 10 गुना से भी ज्यादा तेज होती है। इस वजह से वो वह सब भी सूंघ पाते हैं, जो हम लोग नही सूंघ पाते हैं।

कुत्ते की नींद बहुत कम होती है। हल्की सी आहट भी उसे जगा सकती है। कुत्ते के इसी गुण के कारण हमेशा विद्यार्थियों के लिए कहा जाता है कि उनकी नींद कुत्ते के समान होना चाहिए।

कुत्ते के कुल 42 दाँत होते हैं। कुत्ते की सुनने की क्षमता भी बहुत तेज रहती है। इंसान सिर्फ 20,000 डेसिबल की आवाज सुन सकता है, जबकि कुत्ता 35,000 डेसिबल की आवाज सुन सकता है।

कुत्ते के छोटे बच्चे पिल्ले कहलाते हैं। मादा को कुतिया कहा जाता है। एक वयस्क कुतिया साल में एक बार बच्चो को जन्म देती है, जिसमे 5-6 पिल्ले होते हैं।

कुत्ते का आहार.

कुत्ता एक सर्वाहारी जानवर है। यह मांस भी खा सकता है और शाकाहारी भोजन भी करता है। आमतौर पर पालतू कुत्तों को लोग शाकाहारी भोजन ही देते हैं।

जबकि मांसाहारी भोजन अधिकतर आवारा कुत्ते या फिर जंगली कुत्ते खाते हैं। कुत्तों को चॉकलेट खिलाना जानलेवा साबित हो सकता है।

क्योंकि इसमें एक ऐसा तत्व मिला होता है , जिसको खाने से कुत्ते की जान जा सकती है।

कुत्तों का उपयोग.

कुत्तों का उपयोग कई जगह किया जाता है। जैसे सबसे ज्यादा उपयोग आम लोग करते हैं, जो कुत्तों को घर मे पालते हैं।

कुत्ते को घर मे पालने का उद्देश्य या तो घर की सुरक्षा करना हो सकता है या फिर थोड़ा बहुत मनोरंजन हो सकता है।

आर्मी के जवान भी कुत्तों की एक खास टीम बनाकर रखते हैं। कुत्ते की सूंघने की शक्ति बहुत तेज होती है साथ ही यह बहुत वफादार जानवर होता है, इसलिए पुलिस और आर्मी में कुत्तों का बहुत उपयोग किया जाता है।

इनमे शामिल होने से पहले कुत्तों को खास ट्रेनिंग दी जाती है, जिससे उनमें एक खास क्षमता आ जाती है।

कई देशों में कुत्तों की रेस भी करवाई जाती है। यहाँ पर सबसे अच्छे कुत्ते के ऊपर कई लोग उसी तरह दाव लगाते हैं, जैसे घोड़े की रेस में लगाते हैं।

कई बर्फीले जगहों पर कुत्तों की मदद से स्लेज चलाया जाता है, जिसमे घूमने का एक अलग ही आनंद होता है।

कुत्ता एक ऐसा जीव है जिसकी छठवीं इंद्री भी विकसित होती है जबकि इंसानों की सिर्फ 5 इंद्रियां होती है।
कुत्ता और भेड़िया एक प्रजाति के जानवर है, इसीलिए इनका DNA 99% मिलता जुलता है। इसलिए यदि भेड़िए को भी इंसानो के साथ रहना सिखाया जाए तो वह हमारे साथ रहना सीख सकता है।
कुत्तों में कुल 13 तरह के खून होते हैं, जबकि इंसानों में कुल चार प्रकार के खून पाए जाते हैं।
पिल्ला अपनी माँ के गर्भ में कुल 62 दिनों तक रहता है फिर जन्म होता है। पिल्ला जन्म के बाद भी कुछ दिनों तक न तो देख सकता है, न सुन सकता है।
यदि कुत्ते की प्रशिक्षण दिया जाए तो वह 2 साल के बच्चे की तरह समझदार बन सकता है। वह कुछ शब्द भी सीख सकता है।
सपने सिर्फ इंसानो के द्वारा ही नही देखे जाते, बल्कि कुत्ते भी देखते हैं। कुत्ते अक्सर सपने देखते वक़्त अपने पैर हिलाते हैं। एक वयस्क कुत्ता सोते वक्त 1 घंटे में 1 सपना देखता है।

Dogs are my favourite animals. Dogs are favourite animals of a lot of people, so it is common to find them kept as pets in homes. The loyalty of dogs to humans has been proven. The fact that he continued in their fight even after suffering injuries and the robbers allegedly escaped the house was reported in the papers the following day. This shows great bravery. The way a dog stood up for someone, not even man could.

Love For Stray Dogs | I adore dogs, but it does not imply I only love dogs that have been petted. I love and care for stray dogs as much. Being unable to communicate their hunger or distress, animals nearby should be taken care of. Because of this, we should respect and care for the animals in our vicinity and show responsibility. All animals are unique and amazing in their own ways. I love them all but my favourite animal is the lion. Lions are wild animals and their natural habitat includes scrublands, grasslands, savannahs, and rocky hills. They were historically found in many places around the world but now, due to loss of habitat and illegal hunting activities, they are mostly found in zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, and reserves. However, they can still be found in the wild in Africa as well as in the Gir forest in Gujarat, India.

Lions are majestic animals and are known as the ‘King of the jungle’. There are many different subspecies of lions, like Asiatic lions, Barbary lions, Congo lions, Transvaal lions, and African lions. Male lions have a beautiful signature mane around their neck and are much larger than the females of the same species. Male lions are known to act as the protectors of the pride while the females do all the hunting.

Pride is a family unit of lions that may contain a few lions, a dozen or so lionesses, and their adolescent and young ones. Each pride has its own territory and lions mark and defend these areas by roaring and scent-marking. These territories are fiercely defended against intruding lions and male lions may sometimes get into huge fights over their territories.

Lions usually prey on medium to large animals like zebras, antelopes, hippopotamuses, and buffaloes but they can also kill and eat smaller or larger animals, depending on the need. They are also known to eat animals killed and left by other predators. Lionesses stalk their prey from nearby cover and then leap and lunge at its neck, biting and strangling it until it is killed. Members of the pride then come forward to feed on the kill. An adult lion can eat about 34 kilograms of meat at once.

Lions usually breed once every year in captivity but in the wild, they breed once every two or three years. Lion cubs are born with dark spots on their fur coat which fade away as they mature. They can follow their mother after 3 months and can participate in hunting after 11 months.

However, they still need assistance and can not survive on their own before two years of age. The cubs become adults at about three to four years of age and while most female cubs become members of their mother’s pride, male cubs are forced out and become nomads.

Lions are incredible animals and have always intrigued me. They are truly the ‘kings’.

One of the fascinating behaviour about dogs I have noted down is that they won’t harm the small children ever, instead, they love them unconditionally. They even protect them from any kind of harm. Dogs are our good friends and help to erode our loneliness. They understand our pain and grief. They are perfect guards and friends. They are good learners, as they come to learn a lot when trained and do the action and work in the same way.

Meal of Dogs

Generally, dogs eat bread, fish, meat, bones, and different organs. But can also eat milk, vegetables and rice. They should be fed with proper diet if domesticated.

Faithful Nature of a Dog

The dog is said to be a very fascinating and faithful animal. They have love and loyalty for their owner. I would like to quote an example of the same. In my neighbourhood, there was a pet dog with a nickname Julie, of Pomeranian breed. There was a robbery 6 months ago in my neighbour’s house and the dog came to sense the same, as a result, it started barking to make the family members aware, tried its level best.

But unfortunately was injured badly. It was very brave that even after getting injured, did not lose its hope and it was said that it fought till the robbers left the house and next day the news was there in the newspaper for the same. Even man could not be standing for anybody, in the way a dog did.

I do have a love for dogs, but it won’t mean that I love only the pet dogs. I do have love and care for the road and street dogs. We should care for the animals nearby as they cannot speak and express their hunger or pain. Hence, we should have love and affection as well as responsibility towards the animals in our surrounding as they play a major role.

Elephants are also affected by various infections and disease, thus often die earlier to their supposed death.
According to Hindu mythology, elephants are considered to be the sign of lord Ganesha and are subject to worship, and on other hand are killed for enjoyment or obtaining meat, skin, and tusk.

The inhuman nature of man was revealed on 5 June 2020, when we came to hear about the death of an elephant due to consumption of a pineapple filled with explosive. The elephant was pregnant. It came to the village in search of some food and ate the pineapple given by some people of the village itself. The animal had faith in humans, so ate the fruit, but the pineapple was filled up with explosive and burnt up the whole intestinal and digestive system of the elephant. She died of grief and pain; also suffered as she could not save her unborn baby.

I was shocked and cried to hear such an insane act. The thought which came to my mind was how anybody can reach such level of cruelty. There was much news we came across. The animals are creatures which cannot speak and if they trust us, we should also prove our love and loyalty rather make them suffer.

The elephants are the creatures which are most sensible, compassionate, sensitive, and caring ones. They are and had been accompanying human beings from ancestral times. But the race of development is deleting many of our wild animals. Elephants too are at great risk. They should be protected by both government and public effort.

In conclusion, dogs hold a special place in the hearts of many, including mine, for their incredible companionship, loyalty, and unconditional love. Their diverse personalities, adaptability, and the myriad ways they enhance our lives make them truly exceptional creatures. As I continue to cherish the bond between humans and dogs, I’m reminded daily of the immeasurable joy and comfort these furry companions bring into our lives. Dogs will forever remain not just pets but cherished members of our families, enriching our lives with their presence and unwavering affection.

Elephants are herbivores, mainly consuming grass, leaves, bark, fruits, and twigs. They have a massive appetite, eating up to 300 pounds of food daily.

In the wild, elephants typically live for around 60-70 years. However, in captivity, they can live longer, sometimes reaching up to 80 years of age.

Yes, elephants have remarkable memories. They can remember locations of watering holes, recognize individuals, and recall past experiences, which helps them survive in their environment.

Baby elephants, called calves, weigh about 200-250 pounds (90-113 kilograms) at birth.

Elephants communicate through a variety of sounds such as trumpets, rumbles, and growls. They also use body language, ear movements, and trunk gestures to convey messages to each other.

The main threats to elephants include habitat loss due to human activities, poaching for ivory, human-elephant conflicts, and illegal wildlife trade.

Elephants use various methods to stay cool, including spraying water or mud on themselves, flapping their large ears to dissipate heat, and seeking shade during the hottest parts of the day.

Elephants sleep for around 4-6 hours a day, usually standing up. They have short sleep cycles and might rest while leaning against a tree or lying down for brief periods.

There are three recognized species of elephants: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant.
