Mgkvp varanasi phd admission 2022-23 eligibility criteria.

• A 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
• A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
• Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
• Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
• Candidates those who have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF, NET or GATE (With 75% Marks) or equivalent exam are exempted from entrance exam.
• Permanent/Regular Faculty of MGKVP or colleges under MGKVP are exempted from entrance test.

• For MGKVP Varanasi BSc admission, the selection process is based on the university-conducted entrance exam.

The Bachelor of Commerce course is offered as a regular program and with an option of an additional Computer Application subject. It has an intake of 125 regular seats and 35 payment seats. The MGKVP BCom admission 2023 is done based on merit and entrance exam.

The Bachelor of Law course has an intake of 60 students. There is no option for payment seats in this programme. To take MGKVP LLB admission 2023, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and score well in the entrance exam.

Campus Diaries

I like the whole college and I am very thankful to have a good college.

But I specially like the greenary of my College and it is so amazing and beautiful.

Water supply is very bad in college and roads of college is also damaged.

Classroom benches are broken but management don't take any action on them.

MGKVP is one of the most popular colleges in Varanasi because of its facilities admission procedure is very easy and understandable. On the other hand, exams are held very fairly but the results of many students are not satisfying. It takes too much time if we go for correction. Classes run properly and regularly. Thank you

About Mahatma Gandhi kashi Vidyapeeth

It provides lots of internship program for every caste category.

The exams are always on time ,or is fixed so the course is completed on time.

Students have to suffer a lot to get the results.Results are never given on time.

The copy checking process is always done on carelessness,the students who deserve higher marks are given less and vice versa.

I chose this college because it is very close to my house and also the fees are very affordable for me. The entrance exam is also very easy, once you clear the exam you will be able to get admission. The admission process is also very easy. For admission you only have to visit your department, they check all the details and you are enrolled. Here every student is given equal priority whether he/she is a son/daughter of a rich or known person. I prepared for the exam through YouTube and online sites and also from the class 12 syllabus and notes. The entrance exam is also very easy.

Campus is too large,green and clean. And beautiful.

Our science faculty is so so good at all.

Our faculty washroom is quite damaged it should be better.

As the campus is too big you wouldn't know whether you have to go.

Casually I decided to enroll in this college, and it was a great experience I had during my bachelor's life. There is an objective test conducted every year for admission and the questions will be moderate.

Dharti ghumti hai gol, aur Vidyapith me pdhai hai bs jhol.

The chill environment to rome here and there with no restrictions.

The person who just wants a degree to show his/her parents that he/she is studying and pursuing bachelor degree can have a relax environment for it and nothing better other than this.

Doesn't have silence in the central library and doesn't have any clean bathroom also.

Infrastructure is of adam-eve era. Faculty doesn't focuses on the student's future .

I chose Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University because it's a government University of Varanasi. I have to study BSc and I find this University good for it. The campus is good, will you find everything here you can choose any course whichever you want to study in it. faculty is also very impressive, supportive, and friendly. Time timetables are not proper due to different subjects and timing and there is no difference between seniors and juniors all are treated equally. To get admission to the University you have to fill entrance exam form of mikva and appear in the exam after qualifying with the required cutoff you're eligible for counseling. I prepared for these rounds from the updates on the official website of mikva.

My college experience

This college is one of the top colleges in my district so I decided to be admission to this college, one more reason was that I did not want to go to other states for my graduation studies. No there were not any such group discussions or interviews, a test was conducted and a merit list was prepared based on the score.

MGKVP a university of diamond shaper.

It is one of the best university with proper infrastructure, security and wifi connections and cctv.

Campus is good with helping staff and teachers who help alot for shaping future.

Everything have exceptions so this university also have some. But it doesn't matters much with others facilities provided by university

Some teachers takes many leaves without pre information.

It is one of the best universities in Uttar Pradesh with proper infrastructure, security, and wi-fi connections all over the campus, with the best faculty having at least 10 yrs of teaching experience and proper knowledge.

MGKVP is the largest UP state University. The course run under NEP which is designed to give diploma on areas in which semester course is present. The entrance exam is based on 12th syllabus and was MCQ and the exam was conducted by college.
