Essay on My Trip

In this Essay on my trip, we has discussed about my trip to Goa.

Let us go ahead and read this article to get detailed information about my trip to Goa essay.

My Trip Essay to Goa:

During the last summer holidays, I planned to go out for a trip with my six companions.

Our school had a holiday for 2 months, so we wanted to plan a journey, in which we should enjoy and our knowledge should also increase.

Location Selection:

We had to choose a place for a trip where a good hotel can be easily accommodated on reasonable rent and where the beautiful scenery can be seen.

But it is difficult to find a good hotel as well as natural beauty in one place.

Apart from this, we were not even willing to bear the cost of a very expensive hotel hence the choice of location was a difficult problem.

We considered several places but could not reach a decision, after discussing with many friends and relatives, finally one of our relatives suggested us to go to Goa.

Goa is a good healthy place, the climate here is very good, there are some good hotels and their prices are also affordable.

There is also an abundance of natural beauty, knowing the appropriate place from all points of view, so we decided to go to Goa. Also, read my trip essay conclusion.

How to travel:

We decided to travel by train, we boarded an express train at 5 in the morning.

The vehicle caught speed in a short time, flurries of cold air on the way made us very happy.

We started seeing the view outside the train, we saw very beautiful natural beauty.

The fields were seen convincing on both sides of the track.

In a short time a large pasture appeared, many animals were grazing the grass.

Hearing the loud roar of our train, some of the animals ran away with fearful hooves and raised their tails.

The shepherds started calling them, but they ran in the opposite direction of the train.

After a while, we saw a big tube well, there was an engine in it and water was falling from a very thick stream. Also, read my trip conclusion.

Drains were made for irrigation, through which water was going into the fields.

We had dinner in the afternoon, after eating the food, we started feeling a bit tired and we fell asleep.

When we woke up, the evening had ended, it was started getting dark.

Outside we saw farmers going towards the house, animals were also returning from the grasslands.

It became very dark in a short time.

So we closed the windows and ordered the railway men for the evening meal, our food arrived in a while and we slept again.

Reaching Goa- My Trip Essay:

The next day we reached Goa, we had to remove our woolen clothes at the station itself.

We stayed at Modern Hindu Hotel, it was built on a large romantic spot.

The shadow of nature was scattered all around, opening our rooms in the hotel, we had food and after resting for some time, went out for a few time.

Natural views of Goa:

We traveled to Goa for some distance, it was a beautiful place.

Houses were built beyond the beach, we inquired about the nearby sights from the residents there.

Here tourism places were far away, so we fixed a taxi for the next day at night and returned to the hotel.

The next morning, the taxi arrived at the hotel.

First we went to see the famous campel garden of Goa, the garden was built in several levels at the bottom, and from a distance it looked very beautiful and attractive.

The garden had a wonderful blend of natural beauty and human art, there were many types of trees of fruits and flowers. Also, read my trip conclusion.

In many places, shapes of animals and birds were made after beautiful cutting, which was made on sight.

After that we went to see a famous Basilica of Bom Jesus church some distance away, it was a unique piece of natural art.

After this we saw the Aguada Fort, the palace was built on sight.

Many ancient artefacts were stored in the palace.

My Trip to Goa

I visited Goa during the winter season, which is the peak tourist season in the state. The weather was perfect, with sunny days and cool evenings. My trip started with a flight to Goa's capital, Panaji. From there, I took a taxi to my hotel located in the popular beach town of Calangute.

The first thing that struck me about Goa was its vibrant culture. The state has a rich history, which is reflected in its architecture, food, and music. I visited the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The intricate carvings and paintings inside the church were breathtaking, and I felt a sense of peace and tranquillity as I walked around the grounds.

Of course, no visit to Goa is complete without spending time on its famous beaches. I visited several beaches during my trip, including Baga, Anjuna, and Vagator. The sand was soft and white, and the sea was crystal clear. I spent hours lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun, and swimming in the sea.

One of the highlights of my trip was the nightlife in Goa. The state is known for its party scene, and I had a great time dancing the night away at some of the best restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the live music and the energetic atmosphere at Tomato’s Beach.

Another memorable experience was trying the local cuisine. Goan food is a fusion of Indian and Portuguese flavors, and I was blown away by the variety of dishes available. I tried everything from traditional fish curry to pork vindaloo, and everything was delicious. I also sampled some of the local drinks, such as feni, a strong spirit made from cashew fruit.

The state has a unique culture and natural beauty that I will never forget. From the beaches to the food to the nightlife, there was never a dull moment during my stay. I would highly recommend Goa to anyone looking for a fun and memorable vacation destination.

My Goa Retreat: Finally the dreamy Goa holiday I badly needed! You haven't really travelled if you haven't been to Goa. The state is the ultimate destination for Indian and international tourists and even though I grew up in Orissa, another Indian paradise with fulfilling beaches, Goa has its own charm. Its reputation precedes it and with its perfect windy, tropical weather, how could I resist my trip to Goa? I had heard so much about the Goa water sports so the day I got there for my three day Goa trip, the first thing I did was hire a boat and just enjoy the morning aboard. A Small Place by Jamaica Kincaid presents the hypothetical story of a tourist visiting Antigua, the author’s hometown. Kincaid places the reader in the shoes of the tourist, and tells the tourist what he/she would see through his/her travels on the island. Kincaid was an established writer for The New Yorker when she wrote this book, and it can be safely assumed that majority of her readers had, at some point in their lives, been tourists. Planning Your Perfect Vacation Essay

Choosing a destination for your vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but planning the details of it is the hard part. Some people have it down to a science and some do it all last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very expensive. With sandy beaches, fresh seafood, and a vibrant culture, Goa is India’s hidden gem - and the perfect vacation spot. Whether you like lounging by the water or partying it up at a rave, there’s no shortage of fun activities and beautiful sights. To plan your trip, consider where you want to stay, how you’re going to get there, and what you want to do while you’re there.

Planning Your Trip

Step 1 Make sure you have the necessary travel documents.

  • It’s smart to make copies of your travel documents before leaving. Keep some at home and bring a couple with you just in case.
  • Because it’s so humid in Goa, wrapping your travel papers in plastic wrap or sealing them in a plastic bag will prevent them from getting damp or ruined. [2] X Research source

Step 2 Visit during the months of November to January.

  • Budget travelers should go during the months of February to April to enjoy nice weather without the expensive prices.

Step 3 Fly into Dabolim Airport.

  • Dabolim is only 18 miles (29 km) south of Goa’s capital, Panjim. You can take a taxi or bus there from the airport. [5] X Research source Avoid price haggling by getting your taxi at the prepaid taxi counter. [6] X Research source

Step 4 Pack properly based on the weather and your itinerary.

  • Not every place in Goa will accept credit cards. Those that do (mostly hotels and higher-end stores) typically take MasterCard or Visa. [10] X Research source
  • Keep some U.S. dollars with you in case of emergency.

Staying in Goa

Step 1 Choose your accommodations well in advance.

  • If you prefer an off-the-beaten-path experience, you can backpack in the countryside or rent a beach shack.

Step 2 Get around Goa via motorbike.

  • Unlike most of the country, it’s okay to meat - even beef - in Goa. [13] X Research source
  • Remove your shoes and go barefoot in any holy buildings or shrines. [14] X Research source
  • If you aren’t sure how to act in a situation, watch what the locals are doing and follow suit.

Choosing Your Activities

Step 1 Relax on one of the many beaches.

  • Henna tattoo artists often stroll the beaches. These are temporary and a fun treat for tourists to participate in local culture.

Step 2 Eat authentic Goan cuisine.

  • You can’t go wrong with any of the fresh seafood caught off the coast of Goa, either. You’ll find everything from tuna to mussels to prawns to sushi on most restaurant menus. [17] X Research source
  • Always request bottled mineral water as some of the tap water may not be safe for drinking. [18] X Research source

Step 3 Explore local villages.

  • Some of the best spices are grown on spice plantations in Goa so pick up a packet or two while you shop. [20] X Research source

Step 4 Experience the vibrant nightlife.

  • If you’re looking for the hottest nightclubs, you’ll want to hit up Tito's Road (a strip of dance clubs) in Baja Beach or one of the rooftop raves in Anjuna Beach. [21] X Research source

100 Words Essay on A Trip With My Family

Planning the trip.

My family and I planned a trip to the beach last summer. We packed our bags with essentials like swimsuits, sunscreen, and snacks.

The Journey

We drove down the scenic route, singing songs and playing games. The journey was as fun as the destination itself!

At The Beach

We built sandcastles, played volleyball, and swam in the sea. The salty air and the sound of waves were relaxing.

Returning Home

As the sun set, we packed up and headed home. Tired but happy, we promised to plan more such trips.

250 Words Essay on A Trip With My Family

Introduction.

Family trips are an opportunity to create lasting memories and strengthen familial bonds. Last summer, I embarked on an unforgettable journey with my loved ones that not only brought us closer but also broadened our horizons.

Our destination was a quaint village tucked away in the heart of the mountains. The journey was as enchanting as the destination itself. As we drove through winding roads, the panoramic views of the lush green valleys and towering peaks were a sight to behold.

Experiences and Learning

The village was a treasure trove of culture and tradition. We spent our days exploring the local markets, tasting exotic foods, and interacting with the warm, hospitable locals. The trip was a stark reminder of the simplicity and serenity that is often lost in the hustle of city life.

Strengthening Bonds

The evenings were spent around a bonfire, sharing stories, and playing games. These were the moments that strengthened our bonds. Without the distractions of technology, we were able to truly connect with each other.

As we headed back, our hearts were filled with a sense of contentment and a newfound appreciation for our roots. The trip was a testament to the fact that the journey is indeed more important than the destination. It was not just a trip, but a journey of self-discovery and familial bonding.

500 Words Essay on A Trip With My Family

Traveling is an integral part of human life, and it becomes even more valuable when shared with loved ones. A journey with my family is a memory that I always cherish. It’s a beautiful amalgamation of shared experiences, learning, and bonding. This essay narrates one such trip with my family, an experience that was both enriching and enlightening.

The Destination

Our destination was the picturesque town of Shimla, nestled in the Himalayan foothills. Known for its colonial architecture, historic temples, and panoramic views, Shimla is a place that promises a blend of cultural wealth and natural beauty. The decision to visit this town was driven by its historical significance and the opportunity to experience a different climate.

The journey to Shimla was as exciting as the destination itself. We chose to travel by train to enjoy the scenic landscapes. The train chugged through verdant fields, bustling towns, and winding rivers, offering us a glimpse into the diverse Indian landscape. The journey was a lesson in patience and adaptability, with unexpected delays and changing weather conditions.

Exploring Shimla

Upon arrival, the cool mountain air and the sight of snow-capped peaks welcomed us. We visited the famous Christ Church, an architectural marvel of the colonial era, and the bustling Mall Road, the heart of Shimla. The Jakhu Temple, perched atop a hill, provided a panoramic view of the town. Each place was a lesson in history, culture, and architecture, broadening our understanding of the world around us.

Family Bonding

The trip was also an opportunity for family bonding. Away from the daily grind, we spent quality time together, playing games, sharing stories, and exploring new places. The shared experiences brought us closer and strengthened our family bond. It was a reminder of the importance of family in our lives and the joy of shared experiences.

Lessons Learned

The trip was not just about sightseeing; it was also about learning. It taught us the importance of adaptability, patience, and understanding. We learned to appreciate different cultures and respect their traditions. We learned the value of time spent together as a family, away from the distractions of daily life. It was a reminder of the beauty of our planet and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

In conclusion, the trip with my family to Shimla was a memorable experience. It was a journey of discovery, learning, and bonding. It taught us valuable lessons about life, culture, and nature. A memorable trip to goa.

A memorable trip to Goa #traveldiaries #Goa

These days I feel like a bit of a travel agent. Seriously. It seems like I am constantly browsing travel sites, looking for the best deals, waiting on them to get back with flight ticket offers before I finally book those tickets.

But why, you might ask. Four reasons.

  • Husband travels a lot.
  • I travel on work
  • Son visits home
  • We manage to squeeze in a couple of trips together as a family

You’d wonder: so long as I have the dates and destinations, what’s the big deal with booking tickets? I’d agree, in relation to my own work travel, and my husband’s.

As for the remaining two: son’s visits and our family trips, I go into a total tizzy because the cost of flight tickets fluctuates like the economy.

Even though we try to ensure that we book tickets for known dates well in advance, because of the dates of the travel, it ends up being pretty expensive. Case in point: October. We invariably spend thrice the cost of the airfare it would normally cost, since it is festival time.

When my husband asked if we would like to accompany him on a three-day trip to Goa , we politely declined as we were keener on making a trip to some place that had hills and mountains. And that’s how we ended up visiting Kasauli.

Not that I don’t like Goa. On the contrary, I love it and have some amazing memories of time spent there.

In fact, three years ago, I had to attend a three-day conference in Goa.  Of the many trips I’ve made to this charming place, this one particularly comes to mind.

I caught an early morning flight to get there, after which there was a three-hour ride from the airport to reach the venue. Our stay was also arranged at the conference venue.

This majestic statue greeted me.

It was a beautiful place.

The view from my balcony was fabulous.

The food was great with a mind-boggling choice. Because of my diabetes, I was worried about my diet but they took excellent care of that.

The first day of the convention was super-hectic and it was quite late by the time we wound up. We were just about ready to grab some dinner and go sleep since we had an early start to our day, what with the early morning flight and travel.

Day two was a little more relaxed, probably because we’d had a good night’s sleep. I was excited to see that one of the speakers was the Chest Specialist who had treated my Mom years ago, and it was great to meet him again.

Once the sessions were over, my roommate and I quickly had some coffee and decided to go explore the area. We were quite close to the ocean and couldn’t wait to cover the forty-minute walk to the waters. It was a wonderful walk.

We met some four-legged friends on the way.

About ten minutes before we reached the water, we could hear the deafening roar of the ocean. As we went down the path towards the water, we were welcomed by the spray in the air.

Just as we started enjoying the feeling, the heavens opened up and poured and we were drenched. Laughing, we tried to get some shelter at the nearby property’s security cabin but before we reached it, the rain stopped abruptly!

The ocean was gorgeous but we didn’t go too far out onto the rocks.

After spending some time watching the waves, we headed back the way we came. And attempted a shortcut across this squelchy but pretty ground strewn with leaves.

She found us totally amusing as she watched us navigate the wet terrain. Of course we stopped to chat.

Soon we returned to the hotel. A refreshing shower later, we had a leisurely dinner and settled down to watch TV and chat before we drifted off to sleep.

The next day, the conference concluded around noon and we had a couple of hours before we had to leave for the airport.

It was a Saturday, and while some of us were scheduled to fly back, most of the participants were quite keen on heading to the nearest casino in Goa and had decided to spend the weekend enjoying themselves.

Since it had started to rain, we decided to do some shopping before heading to the airport directly, because who goes to Goa and returns home without cashew nuts? My friends stocked up on Feni as well, while I bought the local cashew nut that comes in its shell. I also remember buying mango and other “fruit leather” —aam papad— made by sun-drying the fruit pulp. It was delicious and my son was delighted! After stopping for lunch at a restaurant, we were on our way to the airport, through the steady rain.

It was a memorable trip for many reasons. I am sad to report that my lovely roommate passed away eight months later. Now, I only have wonderful memories to cherish.

Short Paragraph on My Trip to Goa (400 Words)

my family trip to goa essay

Here is your short paragraph on My Trip to Goa !

Last vacation we planned a trip to Goa. It was a great trip and we all enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Goa is a wonderful place and we had been longing to be there for some time.

Finally we made it happen and we started the journey by bus to Goa on a bright and beautiful day

I was so excited that during my journey to Goa , I could not sleep. I kept asking my Mom every now and then by when we would reach GOA. Finally my mom got angry and shouted at me. When we started entering GOA, I saw fishermen throwing their nets into the sea to catch the fish. It was a beautiful sight and I have seen that only in movies.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Going further down the road, the road was full of greenery with coconut trees, jackfruit trees and many other trees and the roads were all so clean. It was so nice to feel the morning and was not at all noisy.

During the day, it is almost silent and not very noisy, but as the sun sets, Life begins in GOA. It gets active and people come out and start having fun. There are small restaurants which have been made in the interiors of many small houses.

The beach is the best attraction of Goa. It was so much fun to be at the beach. We played in the waters, made sand castles, ran around, went for a swim and enjoyed the whole day. Going back we were so tired , but went on laughing at the great adventures at the sea. Next day we thought we would go around Goa.

We went to Panjim and on the way saw the ship decks being lighted so beautifully that one could not just take their eye from it. The restaurants are just fantastic there and the food is great. There are live bands in the restaurants and we enjoyed our meal in the presence of music. We then visited some of the churches in Goa. They have beautifully built churches there are it is a beauty to be there and pray.

We really enjoyed our trip and on the way back, bought some of the Goan street items , just for fun. The journey was great and the experience was wonderful. I would love to go to GOA once again, when given a chance.

GOA IS CALLING YOU..................

Our plan was the most memorable one. We planned a short trip to goa.Though the climate was cool in Goa also, the trip was really a mind refresher. We were able to relax in the beach during the evenings. The waves moving up and down gave us peace of mind and the beach time gave us chance to talk with our family without any hindrance after a long time. We saw many fisherman moving in to the sea and catch fish. We also got many valuable things as a remembrance of Goa. Goa is definitely one of the best places one should visit at least once in a lifetime.

There is no better recreation than trying something new. Every year, we plan to visit a new place as family. This vacation, we went to the ones of the best tourist spots of India. We planned a 4 day trip to the Fun Capital of India, Goa

Goa is one of the famous places located in the south western region of our country. Goa is very well known for its beaches and places of worship. The main reason we selected Goa as our destination this year is the big number of beaches the place has. We made it to Baga Beach, Calanguate Beach, tito's lane, churches and many more.

How to reach goa:

By Air: Dabolim is the nearest airport. It is well connected from major cities of india like Mumbai, delhi,Pune,Chennai, etc. For foreigners , Goa's airport is located to the south at Vasco Da Gama, which is approx.43 km away from Baga.

By Rail : Thivim is the nearest railway station ,which is approx 19km away from Baga. Other nearest railheads are karmali (approx.26 km) and Margao (approx.49km).

By Road :Baga is the 10 minutes away from Mapusa and 30 minutes aay from the Goa's capital, panaji. Buses are always available from Baga to Panaji and Mapusa.

Day 1: So our 1st spot was Baga beach. we booked a resort there. the name was baga beach resort.

THE BAGA BEACH RESORT:

As our resort was 5minutes from the beach,

The Baga Beach resort is lovely resort, great ambience, and caring service. & then we had quick breakfast there and relaxed a bit.And went to the beach in the evening.

The evening spent there peacefully.

we had evening breakfast on baga beach.

And we went again that resort and night enjoyed in baga beach resort . that night was memorable one.

The 2nd day, we woke up at early morning & took a bath and got ready for wandering. So we walked out of the room. and we booked a mini van on the rent. and went to the see churches. We visited some of the famous beaches and churches of Goa.

The oldest withstanding Church of Goa, beautifully built under the influence of Portuguese architectural style, is one of the best places to visit in Panjim. The lovely marble floor embellished with valuable stones adds up to the charm of the magnificent church.

Church of St Francis of Assisi

This church is amongst the revered Roman Catholic churches. Known for its Barque and Corinthian architecture, the church’s interiors are finely inlaid with ornaments. On the tabernacle reside two statues – one of the Christ and the other of St. Francis of Assisi. Inside the church, the gilded interiors are beautifully decorated. There are numerous paintings depicting the life of St. Francis of Assisi. The carved woodwork and frescos are also exquisitely done.

This is the only church in Goa with museum containing artifacts, sculptures, and paintings. This is one amongst churches in Goa that has items which are a testimony to a rich and thriving culture that thrived in this land several centuries ago.

Essential Information:

The church is located in North Goa, Goa, Velha Goa. The church is open on all days except on Sundays. Timings are between 7.30 in the morning to 6.30 in the evening. There are many tour operators providing Old Goa walking tours. In such walking tours, you have the opportunity to visit this church in addition to visiting other churches.

This is essentially a Christian ecclesiastical church and the first one of its kind to be built in Goa. Although small, the church is very elegant; this church was built by the Portuguese governor in 1510. Built in commemoration of St. Catherine, the church underwent subsequent modification before being finally rebuilt in 1952. The chapel is simplistic in its interior design. Rectangular window panes are an omnipresent characteristic of the interiors.

The church’s history dates back to the year when the Portuguese started to rule Goa. There is an inscription on a stone slab in the church premises which essays this fact. This church is definitely historically significant given that it existed during those glorious years of conquest and reclamation.

Located in Velha Goa, this church is open on all days of the week and is photographer friendly. Check with Cholta Cholta walking tours operators.

Then our whole day went to see the churches. we saw many churches. We looked many more churches and took lots of photos.

and after visiting churches we did lunch. and went to the calanguate beach. As it was evening time, high tides started.

on the day 3, we went to the beach for parasailing . it was great experience and enjoyed a lot.A visit to Goa is never complete without taking the fun of adventurous water sports in Goa.

Top Things to Do in Goa includes Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Rafting, Ocean Trek, Canyoning, Parasailing, Surfing, Camping, Dolphin Ride, Spice Village Tour, Sport Fishing, Partying at Titos Street, Visit to Dudhsagar Falls, Mandovi River Sunset Cruise etc.

Goa is a place with limitless chances to have fun and entertainment and this place would enthrall every adventure lover. Though it is known as the land of beaches, tourists from all over the world find it as a great spot for indulging in many breathtaking activities in water as well as on land.

And after we took some rest and we went to the tito's street for shopping. There are too much things available for shopping. & after done shopping we did fish spa.

Photo of A memorable trip to GOA. by globetrotter_girl

and our last night we enjoyed a lot in tito's club& on the beach.

Photo of A memorable trip to GOA. by globetrotter_girl

The nightlife on Baga beach is immensely happening as it's popular due to famous nightclubs like Mambo's,Tito's and Cavala. The pubs and restaurants are the main attractions of Goa where you can feature its real nightlife. You'll get different theme parties that have the relevant kind of music, which you definitely enjoy listening to it.If you are with your partner ,enjoy a candle light dinner night or go for a perfect goa meal in any seaside shacks. For more fun and enjoyment, head towards hip cocktails and dreams & try excellent variety of cocktails and shooters . For the one who loves music can enjoy rock and roll in cavala is more interesting that is organized every saturday night.

We had drinks, danced , had a chilled out time with the dinner near the beach. An amazing experience it was and by the time we reached it was already 2am.

The 3rd day we relaxed in the beach & went the resoer we booked. And after the enjoying club we went to the sleep .

Our morning was miserable because that day was our leaving day. then after took bath we went to at marlin food court in tito's lane.

The tropical climate has influenced the food of Goa making Goan food intense in flavours and spices. The staple food of the people of Goa is rice and fish curry. Most of their dishes use coconuts, rice, fish, pork, meat and local spices like kokum. Goa was a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 and hence the Portuguese influenced most of their food.

Photo of A memorable trip to GOA. by globetrotter_girl

It was so spicy & very tasty. If you are visiting Goa, and want to taste its authentic cuisine, ditch the make shift restaurants on the beaches. Ask the locals and explore Goa’s calm neighborhoods, you will be more than rewarded.

And after Having food we went to the drink keventers milkshake .We did a fine shopping of all precious things available in goa and enjoyed our evening in Baga beach before returning back to hometown.& our trip was still remaining. Packed all the stuff, did some last minute shopping, had tattoos too.

IT WAS A UNFORGETTABLE TRIP..........:)
