A zero pair is a positive and negative of the same shape in the same box.

A 2 region Expression Mat. The positive region has 2 positive, x tiles, and 3 negative unit tiles. The negative region has 1 positive, x-tile ,and 1 positive unit tile.

Flip all shapes in the bottom box to the top. If they are positive make them negative. If they are negative make them positive.

Make any zero pairs you can.
