Autobiography of a Soldier

  • Autobiography of a Soldier

I am the Soldier, a protector of freedom, a defender of the innocent, and a champion of justice. I am a symbol of bravery, courage, and determination, and I have dedicated my life to serving my country and ensuring the safety and well-being of those I love.

I was born into a world of uncertainty and instability, where conflict was a constant presence and fear was a part of everyday life. But from a young age, I knew that I was destined for greatness, and that I was destined to make a difference in the world.

I joined the military, eager to serve my country and defend the freedoms and rights of my fellow citizens. I underwent rigorous training, honing my skills and developing my abilities to the highest level. I was taught to be quick and agile, to be fearless and determined, and to always put the safety and well-being of others ahead of my own.

And so I was sent into the world, to serve on the front lines of conflict, to defend my country against those who would seek to do it harm. I have seen the horrors of war, and I have experienced the pain of loss and sacrifice. But through it all, I have never wavered in my commitment to my duty and my country.

I have been a witness to the triumphs of humanity, and I have seen the very best in people, even in the face of adversity. I have seen the bravery and courage of my fellow soldiers, and I have felt the strength of the bonds of camaraderie that hold us together.

I have seen the impact of my work, and I have been humbled by the sacrifices that so many have made to ensure the safety and well-being of others. I have been honored to serve alongside men and women who are dedicated to the same cause, and who are committed to making the world a better place.

And so I stand here today, proud of my service and proud of what I have accomplished. I am the Soldier, a defender of freedom, a protector of the innocent, and a champion of justice. And I will continue to serve my country and defend the rights and freedoms of my fellow citizens for as long as I am able.

The Real Life Heroes – Soldiers

Nobody knows what it takes to be associated directly with the defennce services of any country and what boils up every drop of my blood misinformed conversations that give birth to misinformed opinions and baseless rumours. I have heard so many educated, suited booted gentleman and ladies take absolute rubbish and demean the Indian Army. Talking about one such recent conversation that I overheard is where two men will discussing the Uri terror attacks that killed our brave soldiers on the front. In a matter of fact manner, they discussed how the families of the martyrs will get nifty amount as compensation. I should have reacted, given it back to those men. But I stood there completely numb. What could I have possibly told those men for whom the army seemed just a four lettered word? How many minds can I change? How do I make the word outside the Indian army see the reality that army personnel and their families live with? Hailing from a family that has served our country and guarded our borders for their generations, I believe that every citizen must respect the olive graius my grandfather, father, uncles and brothers are all into chose duty over self dedicated their lives to the country. Growing up, I always had a sit of complaints from my father. Trust me, I still do. he never made it to my or my sister’s parent – teacher meets, never saw us participate in any school event, never took us school books shopping. I don’t have a count of how many of my birthday parties he missed. My sister often thus me how once our father didn’t ever know which lass was she studying in and stood lost in her school. But now all this nagging and complaining has turned into a sense of pride. I’m proud to be an Army officer’s daughter. I don’t feel bad to see my fellow mates enjoying with their fathers. I don’t feel sad anymore now when the end of his leave approaches because now I know what that uniform means and embodies/personifies. In my father’s words, “That uniform there is my pride of honour, a well-deserved fruit of four years of rigorous military training, a commitment to my nation. It is more than a job to me. It is my life.” I see that passion in very man in uniform. For me disrespect to that uniform is a personal assault. Yes, I see my father is Late Sh. Col. Kaviranjan Kumar, Capt. Vikram Batra in garud commando Gursevak Singh, in every NSG commando, in every soldier. Yes, it hurts when people so insensitively, callously and casually comment on the free ration facility, CSD, pension and get the so called perks that Army personals. Remember most of the time; they don’t live through their entire life to avail them. Every individual here can’t be forced to respect the Indian Army but all I want from all to respect is that fact that in times of distress whether armed attacks or natural calamities, you all are protected, safeguarded by men in that uniform leaves behind his family and in worst case scenario, even lays down his life for you, your family and our country. Long Essay on Soldiers- 500 + Words

Introduction

Soldiers are the unsung heroes who dedicate their lives to protect our nation and its citizens. They leave their families, homes, and comfort behind to serve in a profession that demands courage, discipline, and sacrifice. The life of a soldier is not easy; it involves facing dangerous situations every day, serving in different parts of the world away from family and friends, and enduring physical as well as emotional hardships. Let’s read the life and daily routine of soldiers during peacetime and wartime while exploring their roles in society.

What is the life of a soldier like?

The life of a soldier is not for the faint-hearted. It’s a challenging and demanding job that requires discipline, courage, and determination. Soldiers are responsible for protecting their country’s citizens from threats both foreign and domestic. A soldier’s life can be physically exhausting as they have to undergo rigorous training to endure harsh weather conditions, long hours of standing guard duty with little sleep or rest in between. They must also learn combat techniques such as hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship. Apart from physical demands, soldiers have to face psychological challenges too. The fear of being deployed into dangerous situations can cause significant stress on individuals and their families back home. Moreover, deployment means leaving behind family members who may depend on them emotionally or financially. A military family has to deal with frequent relocations due to deployments which can cause upheaval in children’s education and social lives. Despite all these challenges, soldiers find fulfillment in serving their country selflessly. They form strong bonds among themselves through shared experiences that last a lifetime. The life of a soldier is one filled with sacrifices but it’s also an honorable profession where individuals get the opportunity to serve something greater than themselves – their nation!

The Importance of Soldiers in Our Society

Soldiers are essential pillars of society, and their contribution is immeasurable. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to defend our country’s sovereignty and ensure that citizens can live in peace. They play a vital role in safeguarding the nation against both external and internal threats. The sacrifices made by soldiers often go unnoticed, but they have a profound impact on society as a whole. We owe them not only our respect but also our gratitude for their service. Their unwavering commitment to duty is inspiring and serves as an example for future generations. In times of war or conflict, soldiers are called upon to risk everything to protect us from harm. They serve with bravery, discipline, and selflessness – qualities that embody what it means to be a hero. Moreover, even during peacetime, soldiers continue working tirelessly behind the scenes- training new recruits or participating in humanitarian missions. A soldier’s job doesn’t end when he or she leaves military service; instead, they continue serving society through various roles such as law enforcement officers or emergency responders. Their experience makes them valuable assets in these professions. All told, soldiers’ contributions cannot be overstated – they provide security for all those who call this country home while sacrificing so much personally along the way. For this reason alone we should honor them every chance we get!

The different stages of a soldier’s life

The life of a soldier is not just about fighting in wars. It involves different stages that have their own challenges and rewards. The first stage is joining the military, which requires passing physical and mental tests. Once accepted, soldiers go through basic training to develop teamwork skills and learn essential combat tactics. After completing basic training, soldiers move on to specialized training for their chosen military occupational specialty (MOS). This includes learning advanced weapons handling techniques, medical procedures or intelligence gathering strategies. The next stage involves being deployed overseas where soldiers are faced with various threats like enemy fire and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). They must always be alert to protect themselves while fulfilling their mission as directed by higher-ups. Once a soldier has completed his/her term of service, they transition back into civilian life. Some may choose to pursue higher education utilizing the GI Bill benefits or find employment through job placement programs offered by Military Transition Centers. Throughout all these stages of a soldier’s life, discipline plays an important role in shaping one’s character. Soldiers learn self-discipline and develop leadership qualities that can help them succeed later in life whether it be inside or outside the military community.

How does being a soldier affect one’s personal life?

Being a soldier is not just a job, it’s a lifestyle that affects every aspect of one’s life. Soldiers have to be prepared for long periods of separation from their families and loved ones, which can cause emotional distress and strain on relationships. Furthermore, soldiers often face physical and mental challenges that can impact their personal lives. The trauma they experience during combat or training may lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. Additionally, the rigorous military schedule requires soldiers to maintain high levels of physical fitness and adhere to strict rules regarding behavior both on and off duty. This means that social activities are limited compared to civilians’ lives outside the military. Moreover, being deployed in unfamiliar territories puts immense pressure on soldiers as they must constantly adapt to new environments while maintaining their duty responsibilities. As such, some soldiers may find it challenging to readjust back into civilian life once they leave the service. Being a soldier has significant impacts on one’s personal life due to its demands both physically and emotionally.

The Many Different Roles of Soldiers

Soldiers play many different roles in our society, and their duties vary depending on the branch they serve in. For instance, soldiers in the infantry may be involved in direct combat or peacekeeping missions. In contrast, soldiers serving as engineers or medical professionals may work behind the scenes to support military operations. The roles of soldiers also extend beyond military service. Many veterans continue to serve their communities through volunteering and advocacy efforts. They bring valuable skills such as leadership, teamwork, and resilience to these endeavors. In addition to their primary duties, soldiers often take on additional responsibilities based on their rank or expertise. These can range from training new recruits to managing logistics for large-scale operations. Regardless of their specific role within the military or civilian world, all soldiers share a common bond forged through shared experiences and dedication to serving others. Their sacrifices help ensure that we enjoy freedom and security every day.

The Daily Life of a Soldier

The daily life of a soldier is highly structured and disciplined. Soldiers follow strict routines designed to maximize their efficiency and minimize the risks associated with their duties. Each day begins early for soldiers, usually before sunrise. They start with physical training such as running, calisthenics, and other exercises to maintain their fitness levels. Afterward, they have breakfast in the mess hall or canteen. Once the morning routine is complete, soldiers attend briefings where they receive updates on current operations and are assigned tasks for the day ahead. These tasks vary depending on the specific role of each soldier within their unit. Throughout the day, soldiers carry out a variety of duties that may include patrols, reconnaissance missions, training exercises or maintenance work on equipment. In between these activities, there is often downtime when soldiers can rest or catch up on paperwork. Mealtimes are also strictly regimented in order to ensure all soldiers receive proper nutrition throughout their deployment. Dinner is typically served early evening allowing time for any additional preparations needed before bed. While it may seem mundane at times; The daily life of a soldier requires discipline and dedication towards serving one’s country under stressful circumstances every single day.

The Training and Preparation Required to Become a Soldier

Becoming a soldier is not an easy feat. It requires rigorous training and preparation to ensure that every soldier can fulfill their duties effectively. The first step in becoming a soldier is meeting the basic eligibility requirements, which may vary depending on the country’s military standards. Once qualified, aspiring soldiers undergo several months of intense training focused on physical fitness, combat skills, and discipline. They are trained to handle various weapons and equipment used on the field while also receiving education about ethics and values essential for any soldier. The process includes mental conditioning as well since soldiers must be able to make sound judgments even under extreme stress or pressure. This aspect of training can separate the best from others as it takes immense patience, dedication, and focus. Physical endurance is crucial in this profession; hence candidates go through grueling exercises designed to build stamina and strength needed when serving in active duty. During this phase, trainees are pushed beyond their limits by instructors who simulate real-life scenarios that one might face during combat situations. In addition to physical fitness regimes, prospective soldiers need extensive knowledge of warfare tactics such as strategy development & execution, map reading & navigation techniques etc. All these skills are honed over time with proper guidance from experienced trainers. Being a member of the armed forces demands commitment coupled with hard work both physically and mentally. Nevertheless, those who put themselves forward for service will be rewarded with ample opportunities for personal growth while serving their country bravely.

Soldiers are the backbone of any nation. They dedicate their lives to protecting our country, and they deserve immense respect for everything they do. The life of a soldier is not an easy one, as it requires hard work, discipline, and sacrifice. From training camps to deployment on battlefields, soldiers go through many different stages in their career. Their personal lives may also be affected due to the nature of their job. However, despite all these challenges and sacrifices that come with being a soldier, there is no greater honor than serving your country. Soldiers play many different roles in society beyond just defending our borders – from providing aid during natural disasters to helping maintain peace within communities. We must always appreciate the dedication and bravery of our soldiers who put themselves at risk every day so that we can live safely and peacefully. It’s essential that we continue to support them in any way possible. Writing an essay on the life of soldiers allows us to recognize their invaluable contribution towards ensuring national security and peacekeeping missions across the globe. We ought always to remember how much we owe them for keeping us safe even when they have so much at stake themselves!

Life of Soldiers Essay

If I have to describe the life of soldiers in a single word; I would have described it as “patriotic”. Though, some of you would like to describe it as “tough” and some of you even as “risky”. In true sense, a soldier’s life is a collection of all the three. A soldier’s life is patriotic, because, s/he is overwhelmed with the thought of protecting the motherland, even at the cost of his/her own life; tough, as they have to stay away from family and friends for months, that too in some of the most arduous conditions; risky because they secure our borders and are under constant threat from infiltrators and terror outfits.

A soldier, apart from routine posting assignment, takes part in relief operations as well. In fact, when the situation slips out of control of local authorities, soldiers are the ones who are called first. Soldiers are well trained and equipped with vital equipments to deal with any natural or manmade disaster. Despite facing tough terrains and risking his/her life a solider has a more meaningful existence.

  • Staying Away from Family

Soldiers need to be on duty for most part of the year. They need to be away from their family and friends all this while. This is one of the most challenging parts of being a soldier. It can be emotionally disturbing.

  • Weather Adversities

Soldiers are also posted in areas with extreme weather conditions. They need to fight amid heavy rains, extreme cold and scorching sun. They need to fight their way through snow covered mountains and dense forests. They are required to be on the field day in and day out, guarding their country at all times. The adversity of weather can be a big challenge for them.

However, this was not the only reason why China attacked India. There were many other issues too. During this war, the soldiers fought in harsh climatic conditions on the mountains. The war continued for almost a month and China emerged winner.
  • Indo Pak War of 1965: India and Pakistan have always been at loggerheads. While India tries to maintain peace and use peaceful means to settle any kind of issue between the two countries, Pakistan is known for using force and attacking our country. It called for a war with India for the first time in 1965. The war continued for seventeen days and resulted in thousands of causalities. It was called off only after the intervention of USA and Soviet Union.
  • Indo Pak War of 1971: Pakistan attacked the Indian border but the Indian army was quick to respond to it. Our soldiers fought bravely and won the battle after fighting for almost two weeks. However, numerous people were killed and several of them were injured on both the sides during this war. Pakistan especially suffered huge losses during this war. It lost a major chunk of its army, navy and air force personnel.
  • Kargil War: The war was fought between India and Pakistan in the year 1999. It started when the Pakistani troops crossed the Line of Control and crept into India’s Kargil district. Indian soldiers acted bravely and wisely during this war. Their mental and physical strength helped India get back the region encroached by the Pakistani military troops. If I were a Soldier Essay for Children (650 Words)

March 3, 2020 by Study Mentor 5 Comments

A soldier is an unsung hero who is never talked about. He gives up his comfort and slumber for the nation to sleep soundly. An epitome of sacrifice, love and compassion; they lie in dearth of comforts. They live a life full of hardships and obstacles. They deserve ultimate honor and respect for the service they render to the nation.

If only I could become a soldier one day, I would wear my nation’s name as pride on my body. My uniform would instill patriotism in me. The day I become a soldier, I would make my parents and my mentors proud.

soldier essay

I will never let my nation being looked upon let my nation being looked upon by anybody and make it a priority to serve my nation. Come what may, I will not shirk away from my duty. My duty will be above all my personal issues. Uniform or no uniform, one can serve the nation in many ways. Even when I would be on a holiday, I would be ready to go down for my nation when it requires me to.

I want my country to celebrate each day as a festival. Even if it means laying my life down, I would be ready to do that. As a citizen of India, I would have used the resources, money and time that my motherland devoted on me.

It becomes my duty to repay her with utmost sacrifice for her protection. Whatever my future would have held for me, would be a gift of my country. No man with harmful intentions would set foot in my territory. They would have to go over my body before harming my country. I am highly grateful to my country for letting me take birth in this land of hermits.

Soldiers have to undergo rigorous mental and physical training to become a soldier fit for serving the nation. I am ready to train hard and serve my nation.

Physical training for becoming a soldier is a long period. It can range from about 8 months to 2 years depending on the regiment or unit the candidate aspires to join. Soldiers are allowed to see their families during this period.

This trains them to do their chores on their own. Battling home sickness is another thing they are trained to do. I know a soldier`s life is hard but the respect and honour I will get looks worth training. If I were ever to become a soldier, I would make sure that I contribute to my nation as much as I can. Even though I will miss my family, as I will be staying away from them, but it will all be worth it when I see their proud faces at the end.

I would work incessantly for the upliftment of the society. As a soldier, I would try my best to develop an honest, genuine and a moral character. Dishonesty and adultery is not expected out of a soldier.

It would make helping, caring and sympathizing an integral part of my character. I would try my best to help and as many people as I can and make sure that no one is disappointed with the services of amid forces.

In times of battle, I would step up and volunteer my services for the battlefield. I would like to die the death of a martyr rather than a coward. In the battlefield, I would never back off from helping my other soldier’s comrades.

if i were a soldier

I would make sure that no civilian is unarmed of any country involved gets harmed in the war. I would keep my ethics above everything and try to shield my nation from any harm which might be caused to her.

I would try my best to become an ideal officer who is looked upon with dignity by his juniors and care by seniors. I would try to become honest, sincere and courageous.

I would fight off the enemy with fearlessness. I would never surrender to the enemy. I would never betray my country. All the secrets and information would be safe with me for sure. Treachery is the last thing I would like to reward my country with after so much it has done for me.

In times of natural disasters when armed forces are called upon to save the stranded citizens, I would volunteer my services for the nation. I would provide necessities to all my countrymen in times like these. I would work with my team mates in coherence and keep up the team spirits. During Naxalite or terrorists attack, whenever I am called upon for help, I would strategically take down the unsocial elements from the society.

In case I ever stumble upon a traitor, god help that person because I would hunt them down and make sure that they get the highest punishment under law.

In my eyes, there is no place for a traitor and he does not deserve to even live on this pious soul. Even when he is sent to jail, he will be eating food out of taxpayer’s money which I absolutely abhor.

Soldiers guard our borders, international waters and international air space. They guard our ‘Line of Control’- the immediate border which is shared by other countries with us. In times of direst stress, they do not flinch even a bit and keep on working alertly to spot any mishap.

If they sense any suspicious activity undergoing, they do everything in their jurisdiction to check any nefarious activity. They guard the borders from any possible infiltration, smuggling or harmful attacks.

I would like myself to be associated with the valor soldiers are recognized with. Songs of their chivalry and stories of their adventures are always amazing to listen to. I would like to be a part of those legends passed on from generation to generation.

India also has some special forces which are trained to mentally and physically handle any situation effectively. These forces are designated to carry out tasks which are secret and undisclosed to the public.

For example, the recent surgical strikes against Pakistan were carried out with utmost precision and accuracy. I would also like to be a part of such forces though it is a tough task to clear the screening process.

soldier essay for class 6

Autobiography of a Soldier.

I was reading a newspaper and came across news where our defense minister visited one of the army camps to encourage our soldiers. That time soldiers told the defense minister that they are just waiting for the orders, they are ready to defeat their enemies. Reading this news I was feeling very proud and was getting attracted to the Indian Army, to become their part one day.

And what a coincidence the next day some of our soldiers visited our school. All students got gathered around these soldiers. And started questioning them about the army with a lot of excitement. And seeing us so much interested in the army the soldiers also started answering all of our questions. We asked one of them about, How the life of a soldier is, then he started to tell about himself.

I am a soldier of the Maratha Regiment. In our army, there are three main divisions which include the Indian Air force, Indian Army, and the Indian Navy. I belong to the Indian Naval Force. In naval force, there are different batches by which we are categorized. These batches have unique names and numbers by which we are identified. Caste and of what religion we belong to has no importance for us. We all are Indian this is what we know.

From an early age, I have attracted to wars and fight which our heroes fought like Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji Maharaj, and Baji Prabhu. I had completed my SSC and at that time China had attacked India. India was in need of soldiers and during this recruitment I had joined Our Indian Army. My dream of becoming a hero was half completed and then cheery on the cake I got the chance to go on the battlefield.

After this war, I once again got a chance to get into a war with Pakistan. During the war, we soldiers are so excited that we don't even think of eating food or drinking water.

In normal days our routine is fixed our day starts with the morning exercise. The army is very strict with its rule and regulations. One has to be in discipline. Every work must be done by ourselves and have to stay away from our home. We cannot meet our family every day. If there is no war or any emergency then we get a holiday of 15 days in a year in which we can return home and stay with our family.

We take care of our country and citizens without carrying about whether it is day or night, hot or cold. We work for you 24 by 7. You must never forget the work which a soldier does for us and you must always respect them.

Soldiers are the epitome of resilience, standing tall in the face of danger and adversity. This resilience is not just physical but mental and emotional as well. The rigorous training that soldiers undergo prepares them to cope with extreme conditions and high-stress scenarios. I am drawn to this challenge of pushing my boundaries and testing my mettle.

Guardian of the Nation

A soldier is a guardian of the nation, always on the frontline, ensuring the safety and security of its citizens. This role comes with a great sense of responsibility and pride. The idea of being part of a force that safeguards the nation’s integrity and sovereignty is a compelling reason for my aspiration to be a soldier.

To conclude, the aspiration to be a soldier is driven by a desire to serve the nation, embody courage and discipline, and to be a guardian of the nation’s sovereignty. It is a profession that demands the highest level of commitment and sacrifice, and I am ready to embrace these challenges. The journey to becoming a soldier is arduous, but the rewards, in terms of personal growth and national service, are immeasurable.

500 Words Essay on I Want to Be a Soldier

The call of duty.

The desire to become a soldier is not merely a career choice, but a calling. It is a commitment to serve the nation, to protect its borders, and to stand up for its values. The life of a soldier is filled with challenges, sacrifices, and a sense of purpose that transcends personal ambitions. It is this allure of duty and honor that makes me aspire to be a soldier.

The Power of Discipline

A soldier’s life is a testament to discipline. The armed forces are renowned for their rigorous training regimes, designed to instill physical strength, mental resilience, and an unwavering sense of duty. This discipline is not just about following orders, but about the ability to make tough decisions under pressure, to prioritize the collective good over personal interests, and to maintain composure in the face of adversity. As a soldier, I would have the opportunity to cultivate these qualities, harnessing them to serve my nation.

Being a soldier means being a guardian of the nation, a role that comes with immense responsibility and honor. Soldiers are entrusted with the task of protecting the nation’s borders, ensuring the security of its citizens, and upholding its sovereignty. This sense of responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s well-being is a significant part of my aspiration to become a soldier.

A Life of Purpose

In a world often driven by material pursuits, the life of a soldier offers a path of purpose. The soldier’s mission is not to accumulate wealth or attain personal fame, but to serve the nation and its people. This service-oriented mindset fosters a sense of fulfillment that is rare in other professions. As a soldier, I would have the chance to lead a life of purpose, guided by the principles of honor, duty, and selflessness.

The Call to Leadership

The military is a breeding ground for leaders. The hierarchical structure of the armed forces, coupled with the challenging nature of military operations, necessitates strong leadership skills. As a soldier, I would be trained to lead, to inspire others, and to make critical decisions under pressure. This leadership experience would not only be invaluable in the military context, but also in all aspects of life.

In conclusion, my aspiration to become a soldier is driven by the desire to serve my nation, the appeal of a disciplined life, the honor of being a guardian of the nation, the pursuit of a life of purpose, and the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Soldier Speech in English

Our brothers, fighting for the nation, are the soldiers who are the protectors of this country. A soldier sacrifices their lives in order to protect a million other lives. The soldiers do not get to lead a very comfortable life every day and still they dutifully protect their own country, they carry their duty with a badge of honor and hence they are so committed towards it.

Speech on Indian soldiers is the main agenda of this write-up. We have structured the speech in simple yet elegant English.

Why should we all know about our Soldiers?

After the formation of nation-states, it became important to keep the defense in place for protecting the country from any external threats. The defense system is created by the soldiers trained to fight during physical combat. They fight with so much risk for their life that it cannot be compared with any other profession of ours. It is our duty to recognize the sacrifice they give to protect the National frontiers and also during the rigorous training they go through. Knowing about the hardship every soldier bears can inspire the young generations and children to work hard in their life.

The word soldier is a very ancient word, initially referring to the mercenaries fighting for a war. In modern times countries have established a well-structured and dedicated army that is ready for battles at any point in time. The other 2 defense systems  are 'the Navy' and 'the air force.' The trained men forming these two groups are also the soldiers of the country. The whole military system is well managed with a top-to-the-down command structure. Some soldiers serve until they retire from their position and some never get a chance to retire and sacrifice their life on the line of duty. That is why it is very important for us to recognize and appreciate our soldiers serving for the peace and development of our nation.

Students can learn many things from the Army of the country such as discipline, hard work, punctuality, dedication, determination, survival in any type of environment, and a lot more. So speech on the soldiers is very informative as well as inspiring for the students listening to it.

Long Speech on Soldiers

Honorable Principal, Respected teachers, and my dear friends, I greet all of you a very Good Morning and happy Independence Day.

On the eve of this auspicious day, I would like to dedicate my speech to our beloved brothers, the soldiers of Mother India. Today we are celebrating this day with such a great festive spirit, with peace in our mind, I am able to deliver my speech with great calmness and out of fear, people today will celebrate this day with a lot of enjoyment all these are possible as we know we are not vulnerable to the enemy or foreign attacks, as the borders are sealed by our brave soldiers. With this in our head that the soldiers are up there performing their duty, be it 3 in the sunny afternoon or 3 in the frosty cold night, we can peacefully do our chores or go for a sound sleep. For all these and for other innumerable gratitude that I feel within me, I would like to give a grand salute to all these fighters serving our nation.

We frequently hear the news that our Indian soldiers are fighting on the Indian borders all day and all night without any failure to protect the country from the attacks of terrorists and to protect the people of India. For this, we acknowledge and are very grateful to every soldier of this country for being the bravest heroes who go through the pain and struggles only to provide us with a peaceful life. It seems they have vowed to keep every single day of ours safe and secure.

For every soldier, the nation for which they serve comes first even before their own family. For their profession, the soldiers do not get enough time to spend with their families. A soldier never hesitates to sacrifice their own life for the safety of their nation. So, the families of these fighting soldiers always wait eagerly for their safe return to their homes.

The soldiers are constantly living under various life-threatening conditions. They remain unsure about when they will be able to return to their own home and meet with their family. In order to safeguard a peaceful night for us, the soldiers put their everything and for their motherland.

My heart is filled with respect and love and my eyes get moist for the splendid brave deeds of the soldiers and their sacrifices.

You must be aware of the fact that our country India, in the whole world has the second-largest Indian military force. These armed forces include the Indian Air force which is aerial warfare and the air space, the Army that is the inland bases, and the Indian Coast Guards, which are the Indian Navy.

The soldier’s disciplined life is dedicated in such a manner that will keep the soldier firm on their battlefields to fight against their enemies who try to harm the nation.

These soldiers protect us from all directions. In the land, the Indian Army protects us, in the water, the Indian Navy protects us and, while being in the air, the Indian Air Force protects us. The soldiers ensure our safety and security in all other possible ways.

Hearty Greetings to our teachers and to our special guests,

This speech is dedicated to our brave soldiers who are our country’s pride. They are the people who selflessly perform their duties if required lay down their lives in order to protect our countries so that the Indian citizens can lead a peaceful life every day.

In such extreme weather conditions, the benevolent soldiers keep a watch on our country’s borders, they do this to ensure that no one is attacking our Mother India. The soldiers in the borders lead an extremely disciplined life so that they are able to tackle literally any difficult situation in any condition.

If any person wishes to join the army, the person should be strong enough to face all the physical discomforts and all the mental challenges to be ready to face the enemy during real war situations.

Table of Contents

If I have to describe the life of soldiers in a single word; I would have described it as “patriotic”. Though, some of you would like to describe it as “tough” and some of you even as “risky”. In true sense, a soldier’s life is a collection of all the three. A soldier’s life is patriotic, because, s/he is overwhelmed with the thought of protecting the motherland, even at the cost of his/her own life; tough, as they have to stay away from family and friends for months, that too in some of the most arduous conditions; risky because they secure our borders and are under constant threat from infiltrators and terror outfits.

232 Words Essay for Kids on if I were a Soldier

soldier essay for class 6

If I were a soldier, my first and foremost duty towards my motherland would be to save her integrity and sovereignty, and protect her from all outside enemy forces, even at the cost of my life.

As a soldier, I must be honest and sincere, bold and brave in character, and disciplined in life. I must obey the orders of my superior officers unhesitatingly and promptly.

If at any time, my country is attacked by an outside force, my first duty would be to march forward to the border line and fight fearlessly unless and until our enemies are destroyed, and we finally win the battle. My mother and my motherland are more sacred to me than even the heavens. I adore both of them equally from the core of my heart.

As an ideal soldier, my duty will also be towards my countrymen. At the time of flood, famine or earthquake, or any other natural calamity, it would be my honest duty to rush to the victims who are none but my brothers and sisters. I would cooperate with my colleagues, and obey my superior officers in the army at the time of any crisis that might appear suddenly in the country.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

I feel that a person can serve his country in a much better way as a soldier than being in any other position.

Essay on “The Life of a Soldier” Complete Essay for Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

The Life of a Soldier

A soldier is the pride of his nation. He defends the honor of his motherland with his life and blood. He has to rise above his own self to defend his nation. His profession brings out the best qualities in him like chivalry, discipline, team sprite, loyalty and steadfastness. His example serves as a beacon light to others who are tame and cowardly. His life is a source of inspiration to the youth of the nation. He has no politics in his makeup. He serves the nation to the best of his ability.

We love the soldier as much as, if not more than as the scholar, the statesman and the poet. The soldier embodies in himself the sprite of youth. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose lives in the memory of the Indian youth much more than Tilak or Tagore. The great and glorious past he played in the INA movement will be cherished by generation to come. The brace deeds of our soldiers at Kargil have become part of over folk love.

The life of soldier is very tough and full of discipline. He has to be mentally and physically alert and keep his body in fine shape for any battles that may come up. His performance in the theatres of war has been heroic and daring. He is the finest specimen of humanity who is prepared to given the supreme sacrifice of his life for the lives of his fellow countrymen. He has to brave the  tyrannies of nature and in thunder, lightning or rain, extreme hot or cold, in deserts, mountain or seas, day and night fight continuously for the know of his nation. He has to sacrifice his family life, be away from his children, only to the save the life of other children.

These days soldiers are involved in many other types of activities. They help civilians in fighting terrorism, communal violence, fury of floods, building of bridges, crop cutting, locus fighting, road building etc. the soldiers is truly secular in character and serves people of all castes, creeds, religions. We should always salute our soldiers.

Essay No. 2

The life of a solider is based on selflessness and sacrifice. He is a great benefactor of the country and her people. We enjoy at our place doing our chorus and the soldier guards us from an aggression from outside forces. The country goes on her developmental programme only when there is peace, and peace is brought by the sincere efforts of a soldier who guards our borders.

When the war breaks out, everybody is called up to do his duty to the nation; as Nelson said about his country, “ England expects every Englishman to do his duty.” This is true of all the countries. It was Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri who coined the slogan, “ Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” during the war with Pakistan in 1965.

Shastri Ji rightly respected the contribution of the armed forces by giving the slogan to the nation. Farmer produces our foodstuff and the soldier protects us from both external and internal strifes.

A soldier is the real friend of the nation. Everyone of us should have proper respect for him as it is he who writes the  destiny of the country with his blood. How can we forget the great sacrifices of the solders in the Kargil conflict with Pakistan. How they got every inch of Indian land back to Indian is all a story of great adventure and heroism.

A soldier is the watchdog of the nation and is ready to perform any duty with which he may be entrusted, even at the cost of his life. his life is  very hard and he obeys any order that may be given to him. Lord Tennyson has summed the life of a soldier in his most memo0rable and immortal poem. “ The Charge of the Light Brigde”.

Theirs’ not to make reply, Theirs’ not to reason why, Theirs’ but to do and die.
