reassign assignment
My requirement is we have a workbasket and users related to that WB can pick any WO and it will reflect in their worklist, user can also reassign or assign to other user both the things are working, but the issue is whenever I am transferring the WO from my worklist to others worklist, the wo is not getting removed from the current worklist. it's available in both the user worklist. ex: In WB75 have assignments 1,2,3,4,6.
User A pulled assignment 3 from the WB
Now user A transferred/reassign the same assignment 3 to userB, now both are able to see assignment 3 in their worklist. ideally, it should get removed from the worklist of user A which is not happening.
Hi, how do you transfer the assignment from one user to another? Did you try drag and drop from worklist widget or using pxtransferassignment activity ?

reassign is happening via local action at the pydefault using the data page for the list of operators and sourced in DT. Post assign calling utility addWorkObjectParty
we are not using drag drop or pxtransferassignment utility

As per your reply comment above, you are adding new Work-Party in local action. Could you please explain the scenario why you are adding new Work-Party? Is that you are adding user information as Work-party to whom all the particular case needs to be displayed in their Work-List.
GunaBaskaran - Thanks for the reply, yes that's the correct understanding. But ideally when I am reassigning the same case to the other user- the case is not getting removed from the current worklist.
Mukkram In this scenario you will not be able to use reassign functionality. Initialize the new case access user as Work Party member and remove the unwanted case access member from Work Party role. You can use removeWorkObjectParty activity to remove Work Party members.
Try checking the join conditions which are there in the RD being used to display the report definition. Also, check the underlying logic. The initial steps would be to run a report on Assign-Worklist and check the assigned operator id.

If end user opens that case from worklist and then do transfer assignment via case wide local actions, then it would work. I assume your scenario is, if assignment is on person A's worklist, then A will transferring assignment to another person. If person C is the one who should be transferring from A to B, then C is actually playing manager ...
