NSOU,  short for Netaji Subhas Open University, is a state-open university started in the year 1997 in West Bengal to offer distance education programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels  in many disciplines, including the sciences, commerce, and the arts.

  • Bachelor Degree Programmes applicants need to have passed the 10+2/12th grade level examination from a recognised educational board.
  • A minimum 40% GPA graduate degree is required for admission to the B.Lib.I.Sc curriculum.
  • In all UG and PG courses (except B.Spl.Ed),admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Candidates for the B.Spl.Ed. programmes are expected to have a least 50% GPA in their undergraduate or graduate degree in the humanities, social sciences, or sciences.

NSOU Admission 2024-25

Netaji Subhas Open University Admission is open for the PG, BLis, diploma, and certificate courses.  NSOU Admission 2024-25 last date is 15 March 2024 . Interested and eligible candidates can submit the admission form at @wbnsou.ac.in . Admission offered by NSOU is completed based on merit score (previous qualifying marks). Students who have completed their UG degree are eligible to apply. The university started the admission process for the January 2024 session for various postgraduate courses including BLis. Whereas there is no update regarding the UG admissions.

The university offers several graduate-level programs in addition to its extensive catalogue of undergraduate majors and minors.  Students willing to opt for NSOU Admission 2024-25 can submit the application form available on the official website of the university at wbnsou.ac.in.  The admission portal for the courses offered by NSOU is currently open.

There are a variety of popular undergraduate (UG) curricula available from the NSOU. Popular postgraduate (PG) courses at the NSOU include the MA, M.Com, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc.  To be admitted to NSOU admission 2024-25 , a candidate must have passed the required qualifying examination with the required minimum score.

Netaji Subhas Open University offers admission twice a year first in the January session and the Second in the July session. Currently, the admission process is ongoing for the January session and Details are discussed below in this article. NSOU Admission Form has been released on the official portal http://www.wbnsou.ac.in/ for the PG, BLis and short-term programmes. The deadline to fill out the NSOU Admission form is 15 March 2024. Interested students can fill out the forms either online or offline modes with all the relevant documents. Students who completed their bachelor's are eligible to apply.

In general, personal information such as name, address, and contact details are requested on the application for admission to NSOU. The NSOU admission form also seeks academic information like academic reports and test scores. Under unusual situations, the form could further seek letters of recommendation or other forms of supporting documentation.

The following is a rundown of the steps that need to be taken to finish the NSOU admission form 2024-25 :

  • On the NSOU website, choose the "Admission" option to begin the admissions process.
  • Choose "Apply Online" from the available options on the menu.
  • After you've created an account, log in to it.

NSOU Enrollment Certificate

NSOU Admission 2024-25 Certificate is for BDP and PG courses, those who have an enrollment certificate will be considered to have a registered admission to the university. It is only issued to first-year students and its validity last 4 years for the PG pursuing students. NSOU's official website has detailed information regarding the admission procedure. Once students get registered they will receive an SMS for the confirmation of the NSOU Admission.

NSOU UG Admission 2024-25

Netaji Subhash Open University UG admission 2024-25 will soon start for courses such as BA, BSc, and BCom in various specializations such as Botany, Zoology, Hindi, History, Chemistry, etc. Students of West Bengal can get a fair opportunity to study the program they want to pursue. Netaji Subhas University tries to give the best knowledge to the students, which is why the university mentioned some criteria for the subjects by which the students can take UG programmes. NSOU UG Admission 2024-25 last date will be 15 March 2024 .

The basic eligibility for the bachelor's courses is university demand for 10+2 standard qualification with a minimum of 50% of scored marks from the recognised educational board. NSOU Student login is provided to students so that they can get their updates related to the university.

NSOU BEd Admission 2024

NSOU B.Ed admission 2024  is a 2-year program which is designed for students interested in taking admission in teaching courses. Students can apply for the course by visiting the official website of the university. Interested students must have completed the eligibility criteria including a bachelor's degree in the relevant field. NSOU B.Ed Admission 2024 last date is  15 March 2024 .   NSOU conducts an entrance exam for the B.ed course admission.

NSOU BA Admission 2024

NSOU BDP Admission 2024 duration is three years. The candidate must have completed the 10+2 standard with a minimum of 50% or equal to the BPP (Bachelor's Preparatory Programme) to be eligible for this course. the last date to enrol is 15 March 2024.   The only option for students to obtain a seat is to apply for NSOU Admission 2024-25 by visiting the official website of the university and filling out all the necessary details.

NSOU BLIS Admission 2024

NSOU BLIS admission 2024-25 has been started on the official website for the January session. NSOU BLIS Admission 2024 last date is  15 March 2024 . Netaji Subhas Open university admission 2024 in a bachelor-level course where students learn about library management and storage of information differently. This bachelor's course takes one year to complete successfully. Those who are seeking admission into it must have a bachelor's degree and must fill out the application form with a minimum experience of the 3 years.

NSOU PG Admission 2024-25

15 March 2024 is the deadline to fill out the NSOU PG Admission form 2024. Students who are interested and eligible can apply online at @wbnsou.ac.in . NSOU PG Admission 2024 will be based on merit score for the 2024-25 academic year. The university started the registration process for the  MA, MSc, MCom, MSW, MLis, and MSc EVS  programmes. The required eligibility criteria for the candidates is to be qualified in any of the bachelor's degrees with a minimum of 45% of marks from a recognised university. There is no age bar for the students to apply for admission to their favourite course.

Under NSOU PG admission 2024, the university offers NSOU Admission to MEd Special Education (Intellectual Disability) - ODL Program for 2024-25. The students looking to opt for this course should have a graduation degree in Intellectual Disability with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution with RCI registration. The duration of the program is 2 years & 6 months. NSOU pg admission 2024-25 last date is 15 March 2024 .

NSOU PG Renewal

NSOU has its re-registration portal which is also known as the NSOU PG renewal portal, Those who are applying for the renewal portal can again participate in the end examination form-filling process, and those candidates who are applying for re-registration need to pay the fees on the same portal the timings will be from 04:00 pm to 10:00 pm as it can be pay from bank challan at Indian bank.

NSOU MA Admission 2024

For the 2024-25 session, NSOU MA Admission is ongoing, and the last date to apply is 15 March 2024 . Netaji Subhas Open University provides a two-year MA programme. The course is offered in the following specialisations such as Bengali, Political Science, English, and Education. Those who are seeking NSOU MA Admission 2024-25 in the course must have a bachelor's degree in BA. The university releases the online application form for Netaji Open University MA admission 2024 on the official web portal. Candidates interested can fill out the form after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

NSOU MBA Admission 2024

NSOU offers admission to various postgraduate degree programmes including the Master of Business Administration degree programme. The online registration form for NSOU MBA Admission 2024-25 will be made available on the official website of the university in June 2024. 15 March 2024* is the last date to complete the online registration for NSOU MBA Admission 2024-25. MBA Students will be selected based on the entrance exam. NSOU MSW Admission 2024

Students can enrol in a 2-year MSW programme through NSOU Admission 2024. MSW stands for Master of Social Work, and it is a postgraduate course. To ensure admission, students must complete the application form before the last date of 15 March 2024 . The application fee is INR 600 and students can submit the in online mode. The MSW programme is recommended for students who desire to work in NGOs or as social workers. Candidates with any specialization in bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the course.

NSOU MSc Admission 2024-25

NSOU MSc Admission 2024 last date is  15 March 2024 for the January session. Netaji Subhas Open University has begun the application process for the postgraduate (PG) level programmes under NSOU Admission. The eligibility criteria to fill out the MSc form is Having an honours bachelor's degree in Science stream with relevant subjects. Interested students can apply from the official website before the deadline. nsou pg admission will be based on the merit list.

NSOU PG Admission Last Date

Nsou phd admission 2024-25.

NSOU Admission 2024 to the Research scholar level. There are many subjects available for PhD NSOU Admission. Applicants can get the NSOU Admission 2024-25 PhD notification both modes Online and offline. NSOU released the PhD application form in  April 2024,  and the last date for PhD admission is 15 May 2024 .   Before taking admission to the university the student has to go through the screening test known as RAC.  Then, they will attempt NSOU-RET . This process also consists of a test and an interview. Merit list and other information regarding counselling/seat allotment for admission to PGGR and PGZO will be notified by the University on the official website @ wbnsou.ac.in .

NSOU PG Admission 2024 Merit List

NSOU PG Admission 2024 : Admission to the postgraduate programmes offered by NSOU is done based on the merit list prepared considering the marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Once the registration process is completed for NSOU Admission 2024-23, the university will release the merit list with the names of the candidates who have been selected for admission to the PG programmes.

Once the NSOU PG merit list is out, applicants can check their names on the merit list and selected students can proceed for counselling. The merit admission for MEd and BEd has been released; selected students can check their names. To confirm NSOU Admission 2024, students must visit the university with original documents and photocopies.

NSOU Application Form 2024-25

NSOU Application Form 2024-25 last date is  15 March 2024 for Short-term programmes and PG programmes. Interested applicants are required to complete the application process before the deadline by going to @wbnsou.ac.in . The NSOU registration fee is Rs. 500/ for the offered courses. The university is inviting candidates for admission to its PG programmes through online and offline modes. 

Only one NSOU Application Form should be submitted. Under no circumstances and any reason can the form be modified. Make sure you print out the confirmation page. The confirmation page and copy of your processing fee deposit receipt should be kept. After students have confirmed their acceptance to NSOU, they will be provided with an NSOU Student Login ID.
