Guidelines For Composing An A-Grade Descriptive Essay On Disney World

Disney World is a great resort in Orlando that is known to create thrilling memories in the minds of people. It has become a wonderful descriptive topic due to its magnificent hotels, fairy tales, dreamy world, glorious resorts, superb slides and highly fun filled environment that is dynamic and has magical kingdom parks. While you write descriptive essays on such topic, you should use your sensory details vividly. You should also employ your observations and descriptions to write such essays.

If you looking for guidelines to write an A grade descriptive essay on Disney World, follow these steps-

Make preparations beforehand: For some, writing is spontaneous while for others it demands beforehand preparations. Hence you should collect detailed descriptions about it . Collect content regarding the surrounding and describe the beauty that touches your heart. Offer flamboyant details of theme parks, Magic Kingdom park, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom Theme park , Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard beach, boardwalk area etc.

Write the draft: After you have created the draft in a sequential manner, you need to follow its outline. Start with the introduction where you need to allure the reader to pursue further. Make an intelligent and mind-absorbing start. Your introduction should stick the reader’s attention. Play with the magical words and offer your readers enthralling experience. Use figurative approach where you present the images in story form. Use all your senses to make the readers feel, taste, smell, touch and hear what you want to convey.

Revision: Do not ignore this aspect because in absence of it you can spoil all your endeavors and your efforts may turn into vain. Most of the time when we are writing our first draft, we become highly engrossed and ignore other aspects like spelling, missing words, grammar, punctuations etc. Once you go through the revision part of your descriptive essay, you can display complete picture of Disney World in the way you want without compromising with the quality.

Edit the content: Here proofread your descriptive essay and load it with good adjectives and adverbs to refine the quality. Be simple and clear and make someone go through it. It might be possible that when someone goes through it from a new perspective, they tend to find faults that we are likely to ignore even after going through it many times.

Submit your proposal: Be ready to share your remarkable piece of writing with the entire class.

Apart from this, take care of following aspects too-

  • A small description of the background while writing the introduction.
  • Specify each and every Disney world location and reveal your feelings.
  • Come to a conclusion and finalize your work appreciating its intricate beauty.

Disney World Descriptive Essay

Ashley StewartEnglish 110 Descriptive Writing “A Place That Had a Deep Impact Effect On You…” Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is America’s best-known, busiest, and most profitable tourist attraction. Of all Disney World’s wonders, the Magic Kingdom draws the most visitors. Tourists can step into the past, ride a sleek spaceship into the future, or dance with a mouse. The Magic Kingdom certainly delivers the fantasy it promises. However for me, its most fantastic aspect is that everything seems so perfect: the buildings, the characters, and parades.

Every building, object, and decoration is sparkling clean.

Essay Example on About Disney World

Take Main Street, for example, Disney’s re-creation of small-town America in 1900. Visitors walking from Town Square toward Cinderella’s Castle cannot help but notice the gleaming paint on every well-kept building. Right down to their gold signs and gingerbread moldings, such shops as the Emporium and the House of Magic are freshly painted several times a year. Every window, street lamp, and display is free of smudges.

In fact, white-suited maintenance workers rush to pick up any litter; including droppings left by the horses that pull the shiny trolley cars along Main Street. Each night, all of Main Street is hosed down and scrubbed.

The people and of the Magic Kingdom are equally flawless. As a marching band drums in the distance, cartoon characters like Goofy and Snow White stop mingling with the tourists and begin to usher them to the sides of Main Street for a parade.

This parade differs from any other you have seen, however. Dressed in spotless uniforms, the fit, attractive band members hold their instruments at the perfect angle. The shapely twirlers always catch their batons. All strut in unison, only to reappear like clockwork in an hour. At nighttime parades, spectacular fireworks are so beautiful Walt Disney World is the place that had a deep impact on me.

First Trip To Disney World Essay Examples

ORDER PAPER LIKE THIS

I have been wishing to visit Walt Disney Resort World in Orlando, Florida for as long as I can remember. Finally, I got the chance to explore it last summer. My parents granted my wish because I had really good grades. They said it is their form of reward for performing well in school. I was more than glad to accept it. It has been the coolest summer because of my Walt Disney experience. This magical place comprises of Disney Blizzard Beach, Epcot, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney Quest, and many others. This paper is a descriptive discussion on the different attractions that Walt Disney Resort World located in Orlando, Florida. I just had to visit Magic Kingdom first because I have heard numerous wonderful comments about it from some of my friends. I must admit that I was amazed by the six bewitching lands with several magical fascinations, jam-packed with thrilling explorations and fairy tale standards. To see all the sights would take one whole day. I thought that it was like a combination of every other park around the entire place. The jungle cruise and splash mountain offered the most exciting rides ever. I also liked the roller coaster ride, but Splash Mountain was better because of its dark setting. I was thankful that at that time, the entire Disney world was not that jam-packed with people because I felt free and comfortable for the entire day. And so I had to visit the next on my list of which was Epcot. The wonderful rides that these two parks offer are truly amazing. It’s definitely one of the things that I would like to experience repeatedly. Animal Kingdom presented a lot of interesting animals through wandering in Expedition Everest, Kali River, but the one that made me thrilled most was the Dinosaur and Primeval world. My parents insisted that we should go to Typhoon Lagoon. I was apprehensive at first, but when I saw the place, it gave me a different pleasure. As soon as the family looked at the wave pool, everyone wanted to try it. The storm slides and the falls were all astonishing. As my family roam around to other places, Disney characters would appear and I would readily take it as an opportunity to take pictures with them. There so many things to buy that my parent were kind of upset because I have been demanding for them to but me some souvenir items so that I could give them to some of my friends. Aside from pictures, I would like to have some things that would really prove to my classmates and friends that I have been to the happiest place on Earth. And because of all the walks and wandering around the huge place, it would really make one hungry. However, we discovered that the prices of the food were quite expensive. Luckily my parents brought food with them and so I think it did not affect their budget that much. The transportation scheme of the place provided convenience for customers. It offered comfortable services in terms of taking the customer where anyone would one desires to go next. There are numerous things that any groups of people could do, but I would like to comment that the attractions are so spread out from each other and maybe this place was not really designed for elderlies. If anyone wants to pay a visit and do it for just one day, then one would likely be frustrated. For the reason that an entire day would not be enough for any person to enjoy all or at least most of the main attractions of the Walt Disney Resort World, it means one should be willing to spend a couple of days to be able to lavish or really enjoy the whole experience because that was exactly what my family did. The whole Disney experience motivated me to save more money because I would definitely want to go back at Walt Disney Resort World in Orlando Florida. There were other rides and other attractions that we were not able to explore because we ran out of passes and cash. I have been constantly telling my friend and anyone I know about my experience there and I am really looking forward to the day that I would visit that magical place again.

Personal Narrative Essay Sample: Trip To Disney World

I am sure that the majority of us have experienced going to Disney with our families. When we go on these Disney vacations, we don't expect to get lost at our favorite park. On the contrary, we hope to have lots of fun with our family. We go to Disney to experience the rides, enjoy the food, watch the shows, and meet our favorite characters. Being with our family and friends in such a magical place creates memories filled with joy and wonder that only can provide us. Never could we imagine that something could take away that joy and wonder, but the frustration of being lost certainly can.

In May 2013, my family and I went on a trip to Disney World. At that time, I was six years old, and my sister, Ana, was eleven years old. Of course, we were both super excited to go to all the Disney parks like Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Once we arrived, we went to our hotel and unpacked. The next day, I remember that we had just woken up, and we were heading to the Boardwalk for breakfast. That day I wanted to go to Hollywood Studios because I was finally tall enough to ride Aerosmith. After breakfast, we took a bus to Hollywood Studios. Once we arrived there, we did a couple of rides, including Aerosmith. Outside Aerosmith, the building had a giant red guitar surrounded by palm trees. You entered a dark room with a long waiting line. The ride had an oily odor, the seats felt like cheap leather, and the bright neon lights flashed your eyes as you stepped into the ride. Your speed went from zero to twenty thousand miles per hour when the ride began. The roller coaster transports you to a rock concert. It was completely exhilarating.

After riding Aerosmith, my family and I decided to try out Toy Story Mania. The Toy Story section of Hollywood Studios is a very colorful place filled with spots to take pictures, giant-sized versions of the movie characters, many rides to experience, and entertainment for kids and adults. The first thing you see when you walk into Toy Story Land is a statue of Woody next to the welcome sign. You can see Jessie, Slinky Dog, and Buzz as you continue walking. On that day, Toy Story Land was very crowded; not even a fly could fit there. It was a hot day, and we were all cramped together, so everybody reeked of sweat. Once we entered Toy Story Mania, we were seated in a beige car with brown and blue accents. I got placed with my sister, Ana, and we had lots of fun shooting the red apples and pink pigs.

Afterward, we exited the ride and squeezed in between the sweaty crowd of people so that we could go to a nearby bar. It was still morning, so the sun was out and scorching. While we were walking, people kept pushing and tossing us. I glanced back at the ride, and the second I turned around, I couldn't see my family anymore. I started to look around, desperately searching for my family, in disbelief at what was happening. My entire body was shaking when suddenly I saw my sister's space buns, so I ran towards her and hugged her. At that moment, I felt so relieved to see them. My parents looked at me as if I was crazy because they didn't even notice I was gone.

After my sister comforted me, my parents took me to "It's Tough to be a Bug" at Animal Kingdom, a playground for kids shaped like the inside of an anthill. This is my favorite place in all of Disney World because I used to watch that movie constantly. Although many people find them disgusting, something about insects has always fascinated me. This experience was very meaningful because it was my first time alone and away from my family. Even if it wasn't for an hour, it certainly felt like it. Never could I imagine that something could take away the joy of Disney before this, but after this experience, I see that moments of frustration can take away the joy momentarily.
