मैं जिस राष्ट्र की सुंदर और पावन जमीं पर रहता हूँ, विश्व उसे भारत के नाम से जानता है। प्राचीन काल में यह अत्यंत संपन्न और गौरवशाली देश था। काल के थपेड़ों को सहते-सहते इस देश को कई कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा। वर्तमान में इसे अनेक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मैं अपने सपनों के भारत को एक विकसित गौरवशाली और महान राष्ट्र के रूप में देखना चाहता हूँ।

भारत सदा से अहिंसा का पुजारी रहा है। यहाँ जन्मे विभिन्न महापुरुषों-गौतम बुद्ध, महावीर स्वामी, सम्राट अशोक गुरुनानक, महात्मा गाँधी आदि ने अहिंसा का संदेश पूरी दुनिया को दिया। ये लोग मारकाट में विश्वास नहीं करते थे। मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा होगा, जिसमें हिंसा आतंकवाद आदि के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं होगा। सब परस्पर शांति और प्रेम से रहेंगे।

भारत सदा से ही ज्ञान का केंद्र रहा है। इसने पूरी दुनिया में सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से विश्व में ज्ञान का आलोक फैलाया। गणित के क्षेत्र में शून्य भारत की ही देन है। प्राचीन काल में यहाँ तक्षशिला, नालंदा जैसे सुप्रसिद्ध विश्वविद्यालय थे, जहाँ भारतीय ही नहीं विदेशी भी ज्ञानार्जन करने आते थे। दुर्भाग्य से आज हमें उच्चशिक्षा हेतु विदेशों में जाना पड़ता है। मेरे सपनों का भारत पुनः शिक्षा के विषय में विश्व के विकसित देशों जैसा ही होगा।

प्राचीन काल में भारत आर्थिक दृष्टि से अत्यंत समृद्धशाली था। इसे ‘सोने की चिड़िया’ कहा जाता था। इसकी धन-संपदा देख विदेशियों को लालच आया। उन्होंने कई बार इस देश पर आक्रमण किए। आज भारत को निर्धनता का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। मेरे सपनों का भारत पुनः पहले से अधिक धनी और समृद्ध होगा।

वर्तमान में शोषण की समस्या उठ खड़ी हुई है। पूँजीपति मजदूरों का, नेता भोली भाली जनता का, दुकानदार ग्राहकों का शोषण कर रहे हैं। ठेकेदारी-प्रथा में शोषण और भी बढ़ गया है। सभी को अवसर की समानता न उपलब्ध होने के कारण वर्ग विशेष का शोषण किया जा रहा है। मेरे सपनों के भारत में सभी शोषणमुक्त होंगे और सभी को समान अवसर मिलेंगे।

वर्तमान भारत में अनेक सामाजिक रूढ़ियाँ और कुरीतियाँ फैली हैं जो विकास में बाधक सिद्ध होती हैं। इनमें दहेज-प्रथा, छुआछूत, ऊँच-नीच की भावना आदि हैं। मेरे सपनों का भारत इन कुरीतियों से मुक्त हो प्रगति के पथ पर उत्तरोत्तर बढ़ता रहेगा।

मेरे सपनों के भारत में वास्तविक लोकतंत्र होगा, जहाँ नेता दल बदलते, वोट खरीदते, जनता को चुनावी झाँसे देते, वोट के बदले नोट बाँटते नजर नहीं आएँगे। वे माननीय होकर अमाननीयों जैसा अमर्यादित व्यवहार नहीं करेंगे। ये नेतागण सच्चे राष्ट्र-भक्त होंगे।

प्रस्तावना

मेरे सपनों के भारत में एक ऐसे राष्ट्र की कल्पना है जो अपने गौरवमयी ऐतिहासिक गाथाओं , पूर्वजों की धरोहरों , बेमिसाल सांस्कृतिक विरासतों और अपने आध्यात्मिक व धार्मिक मान्यताओं को अपने आप में समेटकर आगे बढ़े।और इसके साथ ही साथ आधुनिक टेक्नोलॉजी , विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी , चिकित्सा क्षेत्र , शिक्षा जगत में भी उच्चता हासिल कर विश्व में अपना एक विशिष्ट स्थान बनाए।

यानी मेरे सपनों के भारत में पूर्वजों की बेमिसाल विरासतों के साथ-साथ आधुनिकता का एक संतुलित समन्वय हो। आज विश्व के सभी देश भारत का सम्मान करते हैं। “वसुधैव कुटुंबकम” और सम्पूर्ण विश्व में शांति बनी रहे , यही भारत की आदर्श भावना है। इसीलिए विकट से विकट परिस्थितियों में भी पूरा विश्व भारत की तरफ बड़ी उम्मीद भरी नजरों से देखता हैं।

कैसा हैं मेरे सपनों का भारत

स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद कृषि , उद्योग , व्यापार , विज्ञान , शिक्षा , सूचना और प्रौद्योगिकी , तकनीकि आदि क्षेत्रों में भारत ने खूब प्रगति की। विश्व के सभी विकासशील देशों में भारत ने अपना एक महत्वपूर्ण व अग्रणी स्थान बनाया है।

बावजूद इसके मेरे सपनों के भारत में कुछ कमी रह गयी हैं जिस वजह से हमारा देश अभी भी अपनी मूलभूत समस्याओं से मुक्त हो नहीं हो सका है।आज जब मैं अपने देश की वर्तमान तस्वीर देखती हूं तो लगता है कि यह तो मेरे सपनों का भारत नहीं हैं। मैं अपने सपनों के भारत में निम्न चीजें देखना चाहती हूं।

मेरे सपनों का भारत तो वह भारत है जिसमें गांधी जी के रामराज्य की स्थापना हो।क्योंकि इसके लिए ही हमारे देश के अनगिनत वीर शहीदों ने अपने अनमोल प्राणों की आहूति हँसते हँसते चढ़ा दी थी।

मेरे सपनों के भारत में सिर्फ स्वराज्य ही नहीं बल्कि सुराज्य व सुशासन भी स्थापित हो।मेरी कल्पना का भारत एक फलता फूलता व हंसता खेलता स्वस्थ व स्वच्छ सुंदर राष्ट्र है जो लगातार विकास के पथ पर अग्रसर हो।

मेरे सपनों के भारत में सभी देशवासी एकता के एक सूत्र में बंधे हों।जिनमें प्रांतबाद , भाषावाद और धार्मिक संकीर्णता का छाया न हो।सब खुले दिल से राष्ट्र को सुखी , समृद्ध और शक्तिशाली बनाने में अपना पूरा योगदान दें। समाज में ऊंच-नीच , जाँती पाँती ,लिंग भेद आदि की दीवारों ना हों।

गांव में हर किसान अपनी भूमि का मालिक स्वयं हो। उनके खेतों में हरियाली व घर अनाज के भंडारों से भरे हो और उनके जीवन में खुशहाली हो। कोई भी किसान किसी तरह के कर्ज में डूब कर खुदकुशी ना करें। अन्नदाता का सर्वथा व सब जगह सम्मान हो।

देश में किसी भी पढ़े लिखे , प्रशिक्षित व्यक्ति के सामने बेरोजगारी का प्रश्न न खड़ा रहे। देश के हर युवा को उसकी योग्यता के अनुसार रोजगार के समान अवसर मिलें।ताकि कोई भी व्यक्ति रोजगार व भुखमरी के कारण अपने प्राण न गवांये। मेरे सपनों के भारत में लोगों के जीवन में भ्रष्टाचार हावी न हो। सब मेहनत लगन व ईमानदारी से काम करें।

नये व पुराने सभी तरह के उद्योग धंधे खूब फलते फूलते रहें। मिलो , कारखानों में प्रसन्नता से काम करते हुए मजदूर देश को और भी समृद्ध और शक्तिशाली बनाने में जुटे हों। सबके तन पर कपड़ा हो ,पेट भरे हो और सबके मन में सुख , संतोष व खुशी की भावना हो।

मेरे सपनों के भारत में हरे छोटे बच्चे को पूर्ण पोषण युक्त आहार मिले और शिक्षा का पूर्ण अधिकार मिले। किसी भी छोटे बच्चे को किसी भी कारण बस , कभी भी स्कूल ना छोड़ना पड़े। उन्हें किसी भी तरह के शोषण का शिकार ना होना पड़े और जीवन यापन के लिए मजदूरी ना करने पड़े।

हर छोटे से छोटे गांव में भी सभी मूलभूत सुविधाओं से युक्त प्राथमिक पाठशाला हो और उसमें हँसते मुस्कुराते स्वस्थ बच्चे खुशी खुशी अपनी पढ़ाई करें। हमारे स्कूल व विद्यालय सरस्वती के सच्चे मंदिर हों।

बड़े बड़े गांवों में शहरों की तरह ही विद्यालय व कस्बों में महाविद्यालय ज्ञान विज्ञान का प्रकाश फैलाते हों।जगह-जगह पुस्तकालयों और शौचालय की स्थापना होगी। उच्च शिक्षा के द्वार सभी के लिए खुले हों। शिक्षा में रोजगार पूरक विषयों को प्राथमिकता के साथ-साथ औद्योगिक और आर्थिक विषयों को महत्वपूर्ण स्थान दिया जाय।

दुनिया की आधी आबादी कहे जाने वाली महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण अत्यंत आवश्यक है। इसीलिए महिला सशक्तिकरण पर विशेष जोर हो। हर महिला अपने देश के किसी भी भाग में आने जाने वक्त या घर से बाहर निकलते वक्त असुरक्षित महसूस ना करें। मेरे सपनों के भारत में महिलाओं की शिक्षा और उनकी सुरक्षा पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाता हो।यह जरूरी हैं।

महिलाओं से किसी भी तरह का भेदभाव किसी भी क्षेत्र में न किया जाता हो। पढ़ाई लिखाई , खान पान , रहन सहन , पहनावे और रोजगार संबंधी चीजों में लिंग भेदभाव बिल्कुल खत्म हो जाय ताकि सभी क्षेत्रों में आगे बढ़ने के लिए महिलाओं को भी समान अवसर मिले।

समाज से बाल , विवाह दहेज हत्या , कन्या भ्रूण हत्या जैसी कुप्रथा खत्म हो। महिलाओं का शारीरिक , मानसिक और यौन शोषण ना हो। महिलाओं तन मन से स्वस्थ व सुरक्षित महसूस करें।

हर गांव , हर कस्बे , हर शहर में पूर्ण सुविधा युक्त अस्पताल हो ताकि बिना इलाज के कोई भी व्यक्ति अस्पताल में दम न तोड़े। बीमार व बुजुर्गों के लिए पूरी सुविधाओं से लैस अस्पताल हों। शहरी और देहाती इलाकों में चिकित्सा की उत्तम सुविधाएं हों।गांव गांव में दवाखाने हों।गांव का डॉक्टर किसी भी ग्रामीण को बेमौत मरने न दे।

हमारे देश की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था लाजवाब हो। हमारी सेनाएं शत्रु को हमारे देश व हमारी सीमाओं पर बुरी नजर डालने ही न दें। देश में कानून का सख्ती से पालन होगा। चोर , डाकू , तस्करों और काला बाजारी करने वालों की काली कमाई के सारे दरवाजे बंद हों।भ्रष्टाचारियों और देशद्रोहियों को कड़ी सजा देकर उन्हें सबक सिखाया जाय।

मेरे सपनों का भारत एक महान और आदर्श भारत हैं।जिससे पूरा विश्व से प्रेरणा लेगा । शिक्षा से लेकर स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था तक , नए नए आविष्कारों से लेकर अंतरिक्ष में लंबी छलांग लगाने तक , हर क्षेत्र में भारत विकास के मार्ग पर अग्रसर हो। और पूर्ण विकसित राष्ट्र के नाम से दुनिया में जाना जाये। ताकि दुनिया उम्मीद भरी नजरों से मेरे देश की तरफ देखें।

काश मैं अपने सपनों के भारत का सपना अपनी आंखों से पूरा होते हुए देख सकूं।

अपने देश के प्रति सभी समझदार नागरिकों का अपना एक अलग दृष्टिकोण होता है । वह अपने देश के विषय में चर्चाएँ करता है और चिंतन करता है ।

यहाँ किस प्रकार की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए, समाज का स्वरूप कैसा हो, लोगों को किस हद् तक अपनी परंपराओं एवं प्राचीन विश्वासों का सम्मान करना चाहिए, आधुनिक समस्याओं का देश किस प्रकार निदान करे आदि सैकड़ों बातें हमें उद्‌वेलित करती रहती हैं ।

अपना देश जिन्हें प्यारा होता है और जितना प्यारा होता है, उसी अनुपात में लोगों के निजी हित गौण होते जाते हैं और राष्ट्रहित सर्वोपरि होता जाता है । जब राष्ट्रहित निजी हित से ऊपर हो जाता है तब राष्ट्र के निर्माण, उसका भविष्य सँवारने के स्वप्नों का सृजन भी आरंभ हो जाता है । मैंने भी अपने राष्ट्र को लेकर कुछ सपने बुने हैं, कुछ निजी विचारों का बीजारोपण किया है ।

हालाँकि राष्ट्र निर्माण एक जटिल प्रक्रिया है, लेकिन इसमें असंभव जैसा कुछ भी नहीं है । अधिकांश यूरोपीय देशों की संपन्नता तथा जापान जैसे एक छोटे से देश का विश्व आर्थिक क्षितिज पर शक्तिशाली होकर उभरना यह सिद्‌ध करता है कि यदि देश के सभी लोग किसी लक्ष्य के प्रति समर्पित होकर कार्य करें तो उस देश का वर्तमान और भविष्य दोनों सुधर सकता है ।

समस्याग्रस्त तो सभी हैं पर उन समस्याओं को देखने तथा उन्हें सुलझाने का नजरिया सबों का भिन्न-भिन्न है । भारत की सबसे बड़ी समस्या लोगों की कर्महीनता है । हम दूसरों को उपदेश देने में प्रवीण हैं, पर स्वयं उसके विपरीत आचरण कर रहे हैं ।

भारत की आत्मा अभी भी जीवंत है लेकिन लोग अधमरे से हैं । मेरे सपनों का भारत उद्‌यमशील होना चाहिए, अकर्मण्य लोगों को यहाँ कम सम्मान मिलना चाहिए । मगर हम उन लोगों के भाग्य को सराहते हैं जो बिना हाथ-पाँव डुलाए, मुफ्त की रोटी तोड़ रहे होते हैं ।

आजादी के आंदोलन के दौरान गाँधीजी ने लोगों के समक्ष यह बात बारंबार दुहराई थी कि श्रम का सम्मान किए बिना भारत सही मायनों में आजाद नहीं हो सकता । फिर भी ‘पर उपदेश कुशल बहुतेरे’ वाली हमारी आदत गई नहीं ।

हमारे देश में साधु-संतों को बहुत सम्मान दिया जाता है, लोग अंधभक्ति करते हैं मगर अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ कहे जाने वाले व्यापारी व व्यवसायी वर्ग बड़े उपेक्षित से हैं । किसान और मजदूर जो कि अपने खून को पसीना बनाने में नहीं हिचकते, उन्हें जरा भी आदर प्राप्त नहीं है । ये लोग अपनी भूख भी ठीक ढंग से नहीं मिटा पाते । मैंने अपने देश का जो सपना सँजोया है उसमें व्यापारी, किसान व मजदूर बहुत खुशहाली में होंगे ।

भारत में एक महान् राष्ट्र बनने की पूरी क्षमता है । इसके लिए प्रत्येक नागरिक को अपनी निजी जिम्मेदारी अवश्य कबूल करनी होगी । मानव संसाधनों और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का एक सेतु बनाकर इसे विकास के साथ जोड़ना होगा । आजादी के बाद से लेकर अब तक केवल शहरी क्षेत्र के विकास पर ध्यान दिया गया है लेकिन गाँव जब तक उपेक्षित रहेंगे भारत का कल्याण नहीं हो सकता ।

गाँवों में सिंचाई की सुविधा का होना सबसे जरूरी है ताकि किसान वर्षा की अनिश्चितता से मुक्त हो सकें । शहरों से लेकर गाँवों तक जोड़ने वाली बारहमासी सड़कों, बिजली तथा टेलीफोन सेवा की उपलब्धता हर जगह होनी चाहिए । गाँवों में स्कूल तथा स्वास्थ्य सेवा का ऐसा संजाल होना चाहिए जिससे लोगों को अपने बच्चों की शिक्षा तथा सबके स्वास्थ्य को लेकर एक प्रकार की निश्चिंतता हो ।

ग्रामवासी हर छोटे काम के लिए शहरों का रुख करने के लिए मजबूर न हों, इसका पूरा-पूरा ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिऐ । कृषि विशेषज्ञ गाँव-गाँव घूमकर खेती के पूरे तंत्र की जाँच करें, किसानों को उचित मशवरा दें यह स्थिति ही आदर्श है न कि किसान अपनी छोटी-छोटी समस्याओं के लिए अंचल तथा जिला कार्यालयों का चक्कर लगाएँ।

पशुओं की बीमारियों का इलाज पशु चिकित्सक गाँव में जाकर करें, इसकी व्यवस्था भी आवश्यक है । ये सभी बुनियादी कार्य थे मगर आजादी के बाद से लेकर अब तक इसके बारे में कुछ नहीं किया जा सका । मैं अपने सपने में जो भारत देखता हूँ उसमें ग्रामीण विकास के ये सभी पहलू अहम् हैं ।

यदि हम अपने पड़ोसी देश चीन की ओर देखें तो यह आभास होता है कि यह देश एक गैर-लोकतांत्रिक देश होते हुए भी हमसे काफी आगे निकल चुका है । हमारे देश में विकास के मार्ग में नौकरशाही और लालफीताशाही के रूप में दो बड़े अवरोधक खड़े हैं । हमारी राजनीतिक व्यवस्था किसी दीर्घनीति और दूरदृष्टि के अभाव में इन अवरोधों को हटाने में असफल रही है । ऊपर से नीचे तक का सरकारी तंत्र न केवल भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त है अपितु अक्षम भी है ।

जनता की छोटी-छोटी समस्याएँ भी नहीं सुलझ पाती हैं क्योंकि हर कोई निजता की भावना से काम कर रहा है । इस संबंध में मेरा दृष्टिकोण बिलकुल स्पष्ट है कि जन जागृति और स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के जज्बे को पुन: उभारने की आवश्यकता है । जब व्यक्ति के मापदंड उच्च होंगे तब वह निश्चित ही अपने परिवेश की जकड़नों को तोड़ने के लिए उद्‌यत होगा । लोगों को अपने प्रति ईमानदार होना ही चाहिए, इसी में भारत के गौरव की पुनर्स्थापना का मंत्र छिपा है ।

‘सारे जहाँ से अच्छा हिंदोस्ताँ हमारा’ यह प्रेरणादायी उद्‌बोधन एक हकीकत बने, एक सच्ची बात हो जाए, उसी समय हम अधिक गौरव का अनुभव कर सकेंगे । भारत कभी जगतगुरु था, यह सत्य है मगर आज हम क्या हैं, आज हम दुनिया में कहाँ खड़े हैं, यह अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है । हमारा पुराना गौरव हमारे अंदर प्रेरणा भर सकता है मगर केवल सद्ईच्छाएँ ही भारत को खुशहाल बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं हैं ।

कुल मिलाकर मेरे सपनों का भारत एक सुखी-संपन्न, शिक्षित, कर्मनिष्ठ और आत्मनिर्भर भारत है । जहाँ के लोग अपनी मर्यादाओं का पालन करते हों, उनमें विश्व बंधुत्व की भावना हो, वे दूसरे धर्मवालों का समान रूप से आदर करना जानते हों, शोषण और अत्याचार को जो बर्दाश्त न करें, लोगों में दया और परोपकार की भावना हो तथा प्रेममय जीवन जिनका लक्ष्य हो ,मैं ऐसे भारत की कल्पना करता हूँ ।

मगर मन के एक कोने में यह शंका भी है कि शायद यह कल्पना, यह सपना कभी पूर्णता को प्राप्त ही न हो, लेकिन दूसरे ही क्षण आशावाद इस शंका को निर्मूल सिद्‌ध करने के लिए संकल्पित हो जाता है । हमें एक ओर तो अनुशासन तथा दूसरी ओर दृढ़ संकल्प से काम लेना होगा ।

हम सभी जानते है कि भारत एक महान देश है , जहाँ विभिन्न तरह की संस्कृतियाँ और अनेक धर्मों के लोग रहते है। मेरे सपनों का भारत इतना सुनहरा है कि वहां के लोगो में किसी के प्रति भी जाति, धर्म, लिंग, रंग रूप अथवा अन्य किसी प्रकार के आधार पर किसी के साथ भेदभाव न हो। आज के इस लेख में, मैं अपने सपनों के भारत के बारे में बताने जा रहा हूँ। जो इस प्रकार है:

मेरे देश भारत में शिक्षा को बढ़वा मिले

शिक्षा एक ऐसा मार्ग है जिससे जिससे किसी भी देश को एक विकसित देश बनाया जा सकता है। आज भी हमारे देश में बहुत से लोग अशिक्षित है, जिसकी वजह से उनको सही रोज़गार नही मिल पता है।

मैं चाहता हूँ कि मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा होना चाहिए, जहाँ हमारे देश के सभी निवासी शिक्षित होना चाहिए। भारत का भी प्रत्येक नागरिक शिक्षा के प्रति जागरूक हो। जब शिक्षा हर घर में होगी तो उस देश की तरक्की को कोई रोक नही सकता है। इसीलिए मेरे सपनों के भारत में कोई भी अशिक्षित न हो।

मेरे देश के लोगों को रोज़गार मिले

किसी भी विकसित देश में रोज़गार की कमी नही होती है। रोज़गार तथा अन्य विषय के आधार पर बहुत से पैमाने मापे जाते है। उसके आधार पर उस देश को एक रैंक दी जाती है। इसलिए रोज़गार किसी भी देश को विकसित करने में बहुत सहायक होता है।

हम सभी जानते है कि आज भारत में रोज़गार को लेकर क्या हालत है। भारत में तो उन लोगो को भी रोज़गार नही मिल पा रहा है जो उसके काबिल है। आज के समय बेरोज़गारी बढती जा रही है। जब किसी भी देश में बेरोज़गारी बढती है, तो उस देश में अपराध बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ जाता है।

मेरा मानना है कि मेरा सपनों का भारत ऐसा होना चाहिए, जहाँ किसी को भी रोज़गार की चिंता ना रहे। हर व्यक्ति को सामान रूप से रोज़गार मिले। जिससे वो अपने देश की आर्थिक स्थिति को सुधार सके। ये हमारे देश के विकास लिए अत्यंत जरूरी है।

मेरे देश भारत से गरीबी दूर हो जाए

आज भी हमारे देश में लाखों ऐसे लोग हैं, जिनके पास रहने के लिए घर नही है, खाने के लिए खाना नही है। वो अपनी जिंदगी को ऐसी गरीबी में काट रहे है जो एक इंसान के लिए किसी नरक से कम नही है। हमारे देश में आर्थिक असमानता बहुत अधिक है।

यहाँ गरीब धीरे-धीरे और गरीब हो रहा है और अमीर धीरे-धीरे और भी अमीर हो रहा है। मेरी सोच से अनुसार मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा होना चाहिए कि जो आज के भारत से बिलकुल अलग होगा। जहाँ पर सभी के पास पैसे होंगे।

कोई भी व्यक्ति ऐसा नही होना चाहिए कि उसके पास रहने के लिए घर और खाने और कपडे की कमी ना हो। मेरे सपनों के भारत में किसी भी नागरिक के पास ज्यादा धन न हो, बल्कि सारा धन सभी नागरिकों में बराबर वितरित कर दिया जाये।

मेरे देश भारत में भेदभाव खत्म हो जाए

आज के इस आधुनिक समय में भी भारत जैसे देश में लोगो के साथ भेदभाव होता है। भारत में आज भी लोगो के साथ जाति, धर्म, लिंग, रंग रूप, आर्थिक स्थिति अथवा अन्य किसी आधार पर बहुत से लोगो के साथ भेदभाव किया जाता है।

बहुत से ऐसे विकसित देश है जहाँ भ्रष्टाचार बिलकुल भी नहीं है। इसके मुख्य कारण है वहां के कानून और सरकार की नीतियाँ। भारत में समय के साथ भ्रष्टाचार भी धीरे-धीरे बढ़ता जा रहा है। जब किसी भी देश के नेता भ्रष्ट(Corrupt) होंगे, तो वहां की जनता उनके हाथों से पीड़ित रहेगी।

जिस भी देश में भ्रष्टाचार होगा उस देश का विकास नही हो पायेगा। इसीलिए मेरी सोच है कि मेरे सपनों के भारत में भ्रष्टाचार नही होना चाहिए। जब कोई भी देश भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त होगी, तो वहां से सरकार की केवल एक ही मकसद होगी और वो है उस देश की जनता और उस देश की भलाई के लिए काम करना। इससे उस देश का विकास बहुत तेजी से होगी और वहां की जनता बहुत ही खुश रहेगी।

जाति और धर्म के मुद्दे दूर हो जाए

किसी भी देश में जब जाति और धर्म के मुद्दे में राजनेता जनता के बीच में विरोध पैदा करते है, इससे उस देश में बँटवारा और उस देश का पतन निश्चित है। भारत में भी जाति और धर्म के नाम पर बड़े-बड़े राजनेता जनता के बीच नफरत पैदा करते है, और धर्म के नाम पर लोगो के साथ भेदभाव भी करते है।

मैं चाहता हूँ कि मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा होना चाहिए जहाँ जाति और धर्म के नाम पर नफरत न फैलाई जाए। और किसी के साथ भी धर्म और जाति के नाम पर भेदभाव न किया जाए।

मेरे भारत की महिलायें सशक्त बनें

आज के इस आधुनिक युग भी भारत मे बहुत से स्थानों पर महिलाओं को केवल घरेलू काम काज तक ही सीमित रखा जाता है। क्योंकि बहुत से लोगो को लगता है कि महिलाएं केवल घर में ही रह सकती है। लेकिन पिछले कुछ सालों में महिला सशक्तिकरण के बहुत से अभियान चलाया गया है, जिससे लोगो को पता चल सके कि महिलाओं को किसी से कम नही समझना चाहिए।

धीरे धीरे ये बदलाव देखने को मिल रहा है, महिलाएं अपने घरों से बार निकाल रही है और पुरुषों के साथ कदम से कदम मिला कर चल रही है। मैं यही चाहता हूँ की मेरा सपनों का भारत ऐसा हो जहाँ पुरषों और महिलाओं को बराबर समझा जाये। महिलों को भी मौका दिया जाना चाहिए कि वो अपनी खुद की पहचान बना सके।

मेरे देश में औधोगिक और तकनीकी विकास हो

किसी भी देश को विकसित मानने में कई पैमाने होते है जिनमे से तकनीकी विकास भी एक है। जब किसी भी देश में तकनीकी विकास होता होगा, तो वहां के लोग तकनीकी के क्षेत्र में आगे रहेंगे और देश के विकास में ज्यादा योगदान दे पाएंगे।

भारत में पिछले कुछ दशक में औधोगिक और तकनीकी विकास को देखने को मिला है। लेकिन भारत को और भी विकास की जरुरत है क्योंकि भारत आज भी एक विकासशील देश है। मेरा सपना है कि मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा होना चाहिए कि मेरे देश में भी तकनीकी और अन्य औधोगिक क्षेत्र में भी तेजी से विकास हो और एक विकसित देश के रूप में आगे आये।

भारत में अपराध दर में कमी आए

अपराध एक ऐसा शब्द है, जिसका सीधा अर्थ है कि उस देश का नागरिक सुरक्षित नही है। भारत में समय के साथ अपराध दर में तेजी से बढ़ते जा रहे है। हम सभी जानते है कि हर दिन बलात्कार, चोरी, डकैती, हत्या, अपहरण जैसी ख़बरे सुनने को मिलती है।

बहुत से मामलो में केस दर्ज होता है। तो बहुत से ऐसे मामले भी होते है जिसमे केस भी दर्ज नही होता है। अगर केस भी दर्ज हो जाता है तो सुनवाई जल्दी नही होती। और लोगो को न्याय सही समय पर नही मिल पता है।

अगर अपराध बढ़ रहा है इसका सीधा अर्थ है वहां शिक्षा का अभाव होना, बेरोज़गारी और गरीबी जैसे कारणों से अपराध बढ़ता है। मेरी इच्छा है कि मेरे सपनों का भारत ऐसा हो जहाँ अपराध न हो। लोग कानून में भरोसा रखे और देश को खुशहाल बनाये रखे।

किसान किसी भी देश के आर्थिक विकास का एक मुख्य हिस्सा होता है और वो अपने देश को खाने के लिए भोजन प्रदान करता है। हम सभी को पता है भारत एक कृषि प्रधान देश है, लेकिन फिर भी आज भारत में किसानों को हालत बहुत बुरी है।

मेरे सपनों का भारत कैसा होगा? :-

मेरे सपनों का भारत एक शिक्षित व सभ्य समाज वाला भारत होगा। मैं भारत को विकिसित देशों की सूची में देखना चाहता हूँ। इस देश का प्रत्येक व्यक्ति चाहे वह पुरुष हो अथवा महिला, वह कोई भी जाति व धर्म का हो, वह शिक्षित होना चाहिए।

यदि हमारा देश शिक्षित होगा तो देश विज्ञान और तकनीकी के क्षेत्र में भी आगे बढ़ेगा। मेरे सपनों का देश भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत होगा। भारत में भ्रष्टाचार खत्म होने के बाद ही भारत एक विकसित राष्ट्र बन पाएगा।

मेरे सपनों का भारत समृद्ध व श्रेष्ठ भारत होगा और उसमें स्वस्थ राजनीति होगी। मेरे सपनों के भारत में गरीबी भी नहीं होगी। वह भारत सैन्यशक्ति वाला भारत होगा।

लोगों में जागरूकता फैलानी चाहिए, जिससे वह अपने अधिकारों व कर्तव्यों के प्रति जागरूक हो सके।
हमें धर्म व जाति से ऊपर उठकर भारत के विकास के लिए मिलकर कार्य करना चाहिए।
हमें देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को सुधारने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।
महिला सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ावा देना चाहिए।

मेरे सपनों का भारत बनाना इतना आसान नहीं है। इसके लिए हमें काफी अधिक मेहनत करने की आवश्यकता है। तभी जाकर हमें सपनों का भारत प्राप्त होगा, जो हम सभी प्राप्त करना चाहते है।

भारत शिक्षा, शास्त्र और शस्त्र में अग्रणी देश रहा है। भारत में अलबरूनी , मेगस्थनीज आदि जैसे अनेक विदेशी विद्वान शिक्षा प्राप्त करने आते थे।भारत में तक्षशिला और नालंदा जैसे विश्वविद्यालय रहे , जिनमे देश विदेश के विद्यार्थी अध्ययन करने आते थे। भारत ने आर्यभट्ट , वराहमिहिर, रामानुज , चरक , सुश्रुत आदि जैसेविद्वान हुए , जिन्होंने पुरे संसार में भारत का परचम लहराया।

भारत को वेद, पुराण, संस्कृति, भाषा, विज्ञानं, धर्म आदि से धनवान बनाने में महापुरुषों का अतुलनीय योगदान रहा है। भारत देवभूमि है, जो ऋषियों की भूमि रही है। हम सभी को भारत देश पर गर्व है।

भारत एक खूबसूरत देश है जो अपनी अलग संस्कृति और परंपरा के लिये जाना जाता है। ये अपने ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों और स्मारकों के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। यहाँ के नागरिक बेहद विनम्र और प्रकृति से घुले-मिले होते हैं। ब्रिटिश शासन के तहत 1947 से पहले ये एक गुलाम देश था। हालाँकि, हमारे महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के संघर्ष और समर्पण की वजह से 1947 में भारत को अंग्रेजों से आजादी मिली। जब भारत को आजादी मिली तो पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरु भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री बने और भारतीय झंडे को फहराया और कहा कि “जब दुनिया सोती है, भारत जीवन और आजादी के लिये जागेगा”।

भारत में जीवन के भारतीय दर्शन का अनुसरण किया जाता है जो सनातन धर्म कहलाता है और यहाँ विविधता में एकता को बनाए रखने के लिये मुख्य कारण बनता है। भारत एक गणतांत्रिक देश है जहाँ देश की जनता को देश के बारे में फैसले लेने का अधिकार है। यहाँ देखने के लिये प्राचीन समय के बहुत सारे अति सुंदर प्राकृतिक दृश्य, स्थल, स्मारक, ऐतिहासिक धरोहर आदि है जो विश्व के हर कोने के लोगों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करते हैं। भारत अपने आध्यात्मिक कार्यों, योगा, मार्शल आर्ट आदि के लिये बहुत प्रसिद्ध है। भारत में दूसरे देशों से भक्तों और तीर्थयात्रियों की एक बड़ी भीड़ यहाँ के प्रसिद्ध मंदिरों, स्थलों और ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों की सुंदरता को देखने आती हैं।

भारत मेरी मातृ-भूमि है जहाँ मैंने जन्म लिया है। मैं भारत से प्यार करता हूँ और इस पर मुझे गर्व है। भारत एक बड़ा लोकतांत्रिक देश है जो जनसंख्या में चीन के बाद दूसरे स्थान पर काबिज़ है। इसका समृद्ध और शानदार इतिहास रहा है। इसे विश्व की पुरानी सभ्यता के देश के रुप में देखा जाता है। ये सीखने की धरती है जहाँ विश्व के हर कोने से विद्यार्थी यहाँ के विश्वविद्यालयों में पढ़ने के लिये आते हैं। कई धर्मों के लोगों के अपने विभिन्न अनोखे और विविध संस्कृति और परंपरा के लिये ये देश प्रसिद्ध है।

जिस दिन हमारी मातृभूमि आजाद हुयी उसी दिन से हर वर्ष 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस के रुप में मनाया जा रहा है। पंडित नेहरु भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री बने। प्राकृतिक संसाधनों से भरा देश होने के बावजूद भी यहाँ के रहवासी गरीब हैं। रविन्द्रनाथ टैगोर, सर जगदीश चन्द्र बोस, सर सी.वी.रमन, श्री एच.एन भाभा आदि जैसे उत्कृष्ट लोगों की वजह से तकनीक, विज्ञान, और साहित्य के क्षेत्र में ये लगातार बढ़ रहा है।

ये एक शांतिप्रिय देश है जहाँ बिना किसी हस्तक्षेप के अपने त्योहारों को मनाने के साथ ही विभिन्न धर्मों के लोग अपनी संस्कृति और परंपरा का अनुसरण करते हैं। यहाँ पर कई शानदार ऐतिहासिक इमारतें, विरासत, स्मारक और खूबसूरत दृश्य हैं जो हर वर्ष अलग देशों के लोगों के मन को अपनी ओर खिंचता है। भारत में ताजमहल एक महान स्मारक और प्यार का प्रतीक है तथा कश्मीर धरती के स्वर्ग के रुप में है। ये प्रसिद्ध मंदिरों, मस्ज़िदों, चर्चों, गुरुद्वारों, नदियों, घाटियों, कृषि योग्य मैदान, सबसे उँचा पर्वत आदि का देश है।

एक समय था जब भारत दुनिया के प्रमुख देशों में से एक था। भारतीय तट से ज्ञान और व्यापार हासिल करने के लिए विद्वान और व्यापारिक दूर-दूर तक से आए। नालंदा और तक्षशिला के शहर अपने विश्वविद्यालयों के लिए प्रसिद्ध थे इस अवधि के दौरान भारत ने गणित, दर्शन, चिकित्सा और कला में प्रगति की थी। आर्य भट्ट, चरक, सुश्रुत, चाणक्य आदि ने भारत को देश के बाद सबसे ज्यादा पसंद किया था।

फिर विदेशी भूमि से आक्रमणकारियों आए सोने की अपनी महान संपत्ति के कारण उन्हें 10 भारत आकर्षित हुए थे और उनके साथ उन सभी भारतीय विद्वानों और व्यापारियों के विनाश आया जो सदियों से हासिल हुए थे। जो भी बने रहे वह ब्रिटिश शासन द्वारा व्यवस्थित रूप से नष्ट हो गया था। उनके दो सौ साल के शासनकाल में देश के कलात्मक और बौद्धिक विरासत को नष्ट कर दिया। आज देश में कई लोग हैं जो भारत के साथ अपनी खोई महिमा को बनाए रख सकते हैं। मैं उनमें से एक हूं। मैं उस दिन का सपना जब दुनिया एक बार फिर मेरे देश की सच्ची क्षमता को पहचान लेगा। भारत ने दुनिया को बहुत कुछ दिया है। उसने उन्हें वैज्ञानिक प्रगति की महत्वपूर्ण दे दी है – दशमलव उसने दुनिया को आयुर्वेद के रूप में प्रकृति के रहस्यों को दिया है। महात्मा गांधी शांति के प्रेषित मॉडेम दिवस भारत में बुद्ध और महावीर जैसे जन्म लेते थे। भारत वह भूमि है जहां महान मंत्र ‘अहिंसा परमो धर्म’ को पहली बार घोषित किया गया था।

सभी भारतीय चाहते हैं कि भारत दुनिया में एक महाशक्ति बन जाए। भारत में एक शानदार अतीत है यह उसके धन के कारण था कि यह अनगिनत बार और उसके धन पर हमला किया गया था, लूट लिया। ब्रिटिश शासकों ने देश का शोषण किया। स्वतंत्रता के समय, देश अशांति में था, इसकी अर्थव्यवस्था बिखर गई थी और चारों ओर अशांति थी आजादी के बाद से देश ने बहुत प्रगति की है।

In the India of my dreams, every person has access to quality education and healthcare, the economy is strong and provides opportunities for all, and the government is transparent and accountable to the people. However, there are also challenges that go against this vision, such as the recent passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act and the ongoing issues of discrimination and violence towards women and religious minorities. Additionally, the current Indian economy is facing challenges such as high unemployment rates and a lack of sustainable development. To make the India of my dreams a reality, it is crucial to address these challenges and work towards creating a nation where every person is able to lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

My Contributions

As a young college student, I always felt a sense of responsibility to give back to my community and make a difference in the world. So, when I heard about an opportunity to work with an NGO focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in rural India, I knew it was something I had to pursue.

I joined the NGO as a volunteer and was immediately struck by the dire living conditions of the children and their families. Many of them had no access to basic necessities like clean water, healthcare, and education. I was determined to make a difference and began working tirelessly to raise awareness about their plight and to secure funding for various projects.

One of our main initiatives was to build a school in a remote village that had no access to education. It was a challenging task, but with the support of local leaders and the community, we were able to secure the funding and resources needed to construct the school. The school opened its doors to the children, and it was a truly heartwarming sight to see the excitement and hope on their faces as they walked through the doors of their new school.

We also focused on providing access to clean water and sanitation facilities for the community. We drilled wells and installed hand pumps, and also constructed toilets and bathrooms. This greatly improved the overall health and wellbeing of the community and it was very satisfying to see the positive impact of our efforts.

In addition to these projects, we also provided medical assistance to the community by setting up a free clinic, providing regular check-ups and vaccinations. We also provided vocational training and job opportunities to the youth.

Working with the NGO was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud of the difference that we were able to make in the lives of the children and their families. It was a challenging journey, but it has shown me the power of hard work, determination and the positive impact that one person can make when they work towards a common goal.

Now, as I look back on my time with the NGO, I feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I was able to make a difference and contribute to the betterment of the nation. I believe that the work of NGOs can be a powerful force for change and I hope to continue to be involved in this kind of work in the future, to make a difference to the nation.

My Contributions

As a young student studying in college, I have always had a sense of responsibility on my part to do something to give back to the community. So, as soon as I heard about an opportunity available to work in an NGO that is focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in rural India, I knew it was something that I needed to be a part of.

I immediately joined the NGO as a volunteer and was struck by the reality of the living conditions of the children and their families. Most of them have almost little to no access to even necessities such as healthcare, clean water, education, etc. Hence, I was determined to make a difference and began working tirelessly to raise awareness about their situation and eventually secure funding for various projects.

One of the main initiatives we took was building a school in a remote village that had no access to education. It was indeed a challenging task, but with our determination and the help of the local people and their leaders, we were able to get the funding and resources needed to construct the school. As I look back on the time I spent in the NGO, I feel a sense of pride knowing that I was able to make a difference and contribute to our Nation in its betterment. I hope to continuously be involved in this kind of work in the future to make a difference.

The India of my dreams would be a country that is entirely self-sufficient in all areas. I want India to be technologically advanced, agriculturally advanced as well as scientifically better. I am proud of my country, where agriculture is the backbone and pushes the GDP ahead.

I am proud that I live in a country with so rich soil containing suitable minerals that help in agriculture and promote farming. However, many things need to work for women’s empowerment, such as stopping female feticide, promoting safety and equality in the organisation, etc. In rural areas of India, there are still many cases of women feticide and physical attack, endangering a woman’s life.

For things to change in a better way, along with the government and other citizens, women as a community should also normalise certain things to change the mindset of the people and the society. For instance, generally, everywhere, the delivery person that comes to our door are men. There are nearly zero women who accept such jobs. Instead, they choose to be a housewife, which should not be the ideal situation. Society should normalise things for women that men have done for decades. Various types of reservations are also provided in education or jobs to uplift women and encourage better participation.

Thankfully, the Indian government, along with NGOs and social groups, are working towards the safety and empowerment of women in India. I want women in my country to be free from social stigma and live independent lives.

Empowering Poor

The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer. The middle class has been standing in the same situation ever since. This should not be the ideal situation for India. The more this gap will be, the more our country and people will suffer. India of my dreams should be a place where poor people get empowerment, face no poverty, do not starve, and get the proper roof to live.

Poor kids should get an education, so they are confident in facing the world and living a successful life. There should be no gap between the rich and the poor. The national income should be distributed rationally among different sections of society. In my opinion, socialism is the only remedy that can help to overcome the problem.

Employment Opportunity

The India of my dream should be where every individual should get employment opportunities. People must have a decent job that offers good pay, which will help in fulfilling dreams. The Indian defence forces should be equipped with technologically advanced weapons. All the three military units, the army, the navy, and the air force, should be given extra attention by the government of India as the defence force of any nation is the most significant part of any country. The soldiers should be well-trained and have enough facilities, especially those serving at the borders.

Today’s episode is all about India. You don’t have to believe that demography is pure destiny to appreciate the fact that the future of India is the future of the world. In 2024, today, India is the largest country by population on the planet, having surpassed China two years ago. In 2050, India is still projected to be the largest country in the world. In 2100, when I am 114 years old and this podcast is hosted by my cryo-frozen vat brain, India’s projected to be larger than the next two biggest countries combined: China and Nigeria.

This spring, nearly one billion Indians are eligible to vote in India’s election, and the big winner is almost certain—the highly popular and highly controversial Prime Minister Narendra Modi. What kind of a country is India becoming under Modi? Ravi Agrawal, the editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy magazine, joins us to discuss.

In the following excerpt, Derek and Ravi Agrawal explore how India has defined what it wants to be and the main differences between Jawaharlal Nehru and Narendra Modi.

Derek Thompson: The latest issue of foreign policy is devoted to the rise of India. At the biggest-picture level, what is it that you think Westerners, and maybe Americans in particular, don’t understand about India?

Ravi Agrawal: Well, I think one of the things in general is that in the West, we tend to think that every other country in the world wants to be more like us: more Western, more democratic, necessarily, more free. And that didn’t work out with China, and I don’t think it’s true of India either. I think India has its own sense of what it wants to be in the future. When it thinks about models of what it wants to be, there’s an element of envy in the way it looks at America and also Britain, but also China and also Singapore and also its own history. So it’s very complicated. Indians are going to chart their own path for what they want their country to be. It is democratic in that sense, and it’s what the people want.

Thompson: Your new essay on India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which anchors the new India issue of Foreign Policy magazine, is called “The New Idea of India.” And as long as we’re discussing the new idea of India, maybe we should start here. What is the old idea of modern India according to you?

Agrawal: So, as with any country, all countries have foundational myths. All countries have ways in which they have debated and contested ideas about who they really are, who they really want to be, what their vision is. And India is no different in that sense. It has always had a vibrant debate and discussion about what it really is. And in the 20th century, the early 1900s, when India was beginning to put forward a freedom-fighting movement to overthrow British colonial rule, there were many different ideas for what India could be. The idea that ended up winning out was an idea of a progressive, liberal, secular country. And the country’s founding fathers who put together this idea of what India could be, they had a profound understanding that India was a very divided country. India today, as well, is a collection of states where people speak different languages. There are different cultures and micro-histories, certainly different cuisines. You travel 100 miles, and there’s an entirely different dialect that people might be speaking.

And in many senses, in 1947, the year India became independent, the idea of uniting all of these groups together was an unlikely idea. And so what India’s founding fathers tried to do is that they united the country through an idea that, for this to work, it has to be secular; it has to be liberal; it has to be a vision that is evolving and inclusive and, in many senses, different from, say, Pakistan, which was founded as a homeland for Muslims. So in that Pakistan was exclusionary, India would be inclusionary. And that was the vision and the idea of India that prevailed for several decades of version 1.0 of India’s existence. I picked the phrase “idea of India,” by the way, from a book that was a very famous book that came out in 1997, the 50th year of India’s anniversary. And it was written by the historian Sunil Khilnani. And his point was exactly this, that India was an unlikely democracy. What knitted it together was secularism and democracy, basically.

Thompson: So India’s progressive, liberal, secular identity was embodied in many ways in its first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. He was anglicized, you write. He was Cambridge educated. He went by Joe in his 20s. And that stands in sharp contrast to the current prime minister, Narendra Modi. Before we talk about Modi’s policies, let’s maybe spend a little bit of time on his biography. How do Modi’s upbringing and his early history compare or stand in contrast with Nehru’s?

Agrawal: Oh, they were so different, and without ascribing any value judgments, good or bad, to any of this, as you point out, Nehru was very anglicized, came from a rich family, upper middle class at the very least. Before Cambridge, he went to Harrow. So he was as anglicized as it gets. And in many ways, in the first few decades of India’s existence as a country, people like Nehru were seen as the ideal of what Indians could be: fluent English speakers, insider outsiders, but also speakers of an Indian language, deeply knowledgeable about the country with a vision for what the country could be. Modi is different primarily in that he doesn’t come from Nehru’s world; he doesn’t come from an elite background. His family was lower caste, lower middle class. His father was a tea seller. Modi was not a fluent English speaker, still isn’t really. He speaks English. But really what he is known for when it comes to his oration, which he’s very good at, is Hindi.

He’s a fantastic Hindi speaker. But when you look at Modi’s formative education, yes, he spent some time at a university, not a very well-known one. He joined the RSS, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which is best described as a Hindu social movement, also a paramilitary group, that has about 5 million members. And Modi essentially traveled around the country as a Hindu community organizer. He’d sleep in ordinary people’s homes, really got a sense of what the anxieties of the average Indian middle-class family were like, of what their hopes and dreams and aspirations were like. In many senses, if you speak to biographers of Modi, that was the thing he often grew on as the source of his thinking, as his formative education, as it were. So he could not be more different from Nehru. He comes from a totally different world.
