Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. must have obtained a Master’s Degree with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale (or equivalent CGPA wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University/institute or a Degree recognized by the University as its equivalent in the subject/allied subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue a course of research or in a subject allied thereto.
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade/CGPA, may be allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer)/Differently-abled or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991.

Selection of candidates will be through Entrance Test PUCRET 2023 and Interview.

Following candidates shall be exempted from appearing at the entrance test –

• Candidates who qualify UGC-CSIR (JRF) examination, including NET lectureship/ SLET/ GATE/ GPAT or any other JRF examination conducted by national agencies, such as ICMR, ICSSR, etc.
• Candidate possessing M.Phil. degree from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, provided that his/her admission to the M.Phil. degree has been through entrance examination.
• Teacher Fellowship holder and University College teachers holding a regular position (regular appointment) and having completed Probation duration of service as teacher in a department or affiliated colleges of the University

• First paper will be common for all and contains 70 questions of 1 mark each. It will be based on Research Methodology and it will be of 1.5 Hours.

Students’ eligibility for applying to a UG course is a minimum of 50% score in the 10+2 levels. Each student who wants to apply for a PG course must have a bachelor’s degree in the related field with a minimum of 50% marks. The previous study must be from any well recognized educational board, or UGC recognized university.

Purvanchal University UG Admission

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University’s UG admission process will begin in the last week of March. Students who have completed their 12th grade can choose from a variety of courses. The university admits students to certain courses after they pass the entrance exam. The NEET results are examined at the time of B.Pharma admission. Here we have mentioned some courses with eligibility requirements.

• B-Tech: The students must have cleared 10+2 exams with a minimum of 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects for admission in this programme. A JEE main exam will also have to clear by the aspirants.
• B.Pharma:  The previous qualification at 10+2 level must be obtained with biology as the main subject.
• BA.LLB: An integrated course with a duration of five years can be pursued by intermediate certificate holders having at least a 50% score. The previous education must be from any well-known board of education in India.

Purvanchal University PG Admission

The VBSPU admissions process for 2022-23 will begin in early July and end in August 2022. Admissions to MSc Microbiology, MBA, MCA, MAP, and other programmes are now open. VBSPU offers both entrance and merit-based PG programmes. A student must receive sufficient marks on the qualifying examination in order to be admitted.

Applicants to the MBA program must take the VBSPU entrance examination in order to be considered for admission. It is possible to be admitted after passing any of the admissions tests, such as the CAT, CMAT, or XAT. In order to apply for PG admission, students must fill out an online application and pay a fee of INR 500.

• MBA : A general MBA degree is offered at VBSPU, along with specializations in E-Commerce and Agriculture Business. A minimum 45% score is required by general while a 40% score is required by the SC/ST candidates in intermediate.
• MA:  Master of Arts is a PG level degree programme that takes 2 years to complete. Student’s graduated in any field can apply with at least a 45% score.
• M.Sc: Those students who want to make a career in the Science field can opt for this Master’s degree in Science. A graduation degree such as BSc is mandatory to have by students along with a least 50% marks.

• Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University offers a PhD programme in different specializations. It has more than 40 disciplines for PhD programmes including Hindi, Urdu, English, Mathematics, and many more.
• The students who have completed their master’s degree or higher from any UGC-recognized university can apply for admission to this programme. The seat allotment will be based on merit scored by the student in the qualifying entrance exam named PUCRET followed by the interview.

Purvanchal University Entrance Exam 2022

Purvanchal University Entrance Exam is conducted for admission in numerous courses offered by the University. Basically, this exam is organized for PG admissions and is once held each year. This is an exam of University scale and its application mode will be online. Students can submit their forms at the online portal of PU using the link  http://www.vbspu.ac.in  to get access.

This exam is for M.Sc (Environmental Science, Microbiology, and Bio-Chemistry), M.Sc (Biotechnology), MA (Mass Communication and Applied Psychology), and MBA (Economics, Business, Finance, and HRD). For MBA a valid score of UPSEE is also accepted. It will be a pen-paper-based test conducted in the offline mode. A total of 100 marks will be allotted for 100 questions such that a +1 mark is there for each right answer. The entrance exam language medium will be English. The time allowed to complete the test paper will be 120 minutes (2 hours).

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Admission 2024-25:  VBSPU Admission 2024-25 is now open through PUCAT 2024, and the last extended date to apply is 20 May 2024 .  Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, often known as VBSPU, provides admission to a variety of undergraduate (UG),postgraduate (PG),Diploma, and doctoral programmes (PhD),including BA, BSc, MSc, BBA, MBA, BTech, MTech, BA LLB, BPharm, and PDP. This year the University offering UG courses under NEP 2020 guidelines.  Students can submit their applications on the VBSPU official website @vbspu.ac.in.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for general and OBC categories and Rs. 250 for those in the SC/ST categories. Applicants must hold a Class 10+2 grade level diploma, and a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% of marks from a recognized university (45% in the case of SC/ST candidates),to be eligible for admission at the VBSPU.

Vbspu admission 2024-25.

VBSPU Admission 2024 fresh registration has started for the Undergraduate (UG) Postgraduate (PG),and Diploma level programmes. The last date to apply is  20 May 2024 for VBSPU Admission 2024-25. The admission will be based on the entrance name PUCAT 2024.  Students can apply in 2 modes The first one is an online mode and the second is an offline mode. In online mode, the candidate can apply through the official website of the University, and in offline mode, the student takes admission directly to the university campus.  Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University  will declare the Entrance exams 2024 date very soon.

The candidate may apply for the entrance exams online. Candidates can take Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Admission 2024 in the Undergraduate [UG] and postgraduate [PG] courses. For VBSPU admission in Graduation candidates must pass 10+2 and for the PostGraduation candidates must have a Bachelor's degree.

The last date to apply for the course is  20 May 2024.  Registration is made online and mandatory for those students who are seeking admission to the course as well.

Purvanchal University admission has started and the registration process for the session 2024-25 is completely online mode. Students need to first fill out the registration form which is available on the university website and the last date is 20 May 2024 .  The process of filling out the registration form is provided on the university website in a video format, candidates can refer to it once.

Purvanchal University UG Admission 2024-25

VBSPU admission for the UG courses started on 01 March 2024. Interested applicants who have completed their 12th have the choice to opt for various courses. It grants admission to some of the courses after scoring good marks on the PUCAT 2024 entrance test. 20 May 2024 is the deadline to enrol for VBSPU UG admission 2024-25.

Purvanchal University science courses such as b.Pharma and  B.Tech are the most famous courses among students. Students must apply for the entrance exam to be admitted to VBSPU's professional programs. The VBSPU admission exam registration process will soon begin.

VBSPU PG Admission

VBSPU University started the admission process for the various PG courses based on the university-level entrance exam. VBSPU PG admission 2024-25 last date is 20 May 2024.   The admission window opens for MSc Microbiology, MBA, MCA, MAP, etc., programs. The students must have scored enough marks in the qualifying exam to get admission. 

MBA aspirants will need to appear in the VBSPU entrance test to get admission. However, They can also get admission after passing any of the entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, or XAT. Students can enroll for PG admission by using the online application form with a fee deposit of INR 500 .

VBSPU MEd Admission

VSPU MEd direct admission is offered to the students in case any vacant seat remains after counselling in the university. Candidates will have to pay cash Rs 500 as the counselling fee at the university. Students are chosen based on the marks achieved in the VSPU M Ed Entrance exam.

VBSPU application form 2024 has been released for numerous offered courses. 20 May 2024 is the deadline to fill out the VBSPU online application form. Interested candidates can get the form online on the official website of the university. Applicants are suggested to fill out the form with the correct required details because the application form is not to be editable. If a candidate submits more than one application form then both applications will be rejected. After filling out the form candidates can take a printout of the confirmation page for further needs.
