This is a list of available missions in LEGO City Undercover . Special Assignments are replayable, but Chapters are not. Cut-scenes from either mission type can be viewed in the screening room at the LEGO City Police Station .

Miner Altercation

Welcome to the walkthrough for Special Assignment 3 Miner Altercation in LEGO City Undercover. Below you will find a complete run-through of the Story mode, as well as a detailed list of all items you can unlock in Free Play mode.

Special Assignment 3: Miner Altercation at Bluebell Mine

Story walkthrough.

Begin your time in the mine by switching to your Robber disguise and prying open a door to the left of the silver boulders. Inside, pull a switch to rain down some bricks, which you can build into a box that will allow you to reach the next area.

Climb the blue and white blocks on the wall, then grapple over the gap to the right. Smash the equipment there and rebuild the pieces into a catapult which will launch you to the area with the Miner disguise.

Switch to your new outfit and smash the boulders blocking the way out of the area, then drop down and break another set of boulders to find a handle. Carry it over to the right and use it to rain down some more blocks.

Next, build the pieces into a dynamite dispenser and carry the explosives over to the machine that's jammed.

A crane will drop some rail pieces down that you can rebuild in order to push the cart full of dynamite into the silver boulders, opening up the next area.

Fight off the thugs in the next area, then head over to the dynamite vending machine on the deck to the left. Carry it over to the port-a-potty and blow it up, then build the pieces into a diving board.

Dive into the void, aiming for the rings of studs as you plummet. Once you reach the bottom, use your miner disguise to break the boulders in the back and enter the next area.

Next, smash the piles of boulders until you find a Data Scan point and follow the path to a hatch with dynamite in it.

Carry your explosives over to the cart on the tracks and blow it up, then build the pieces into a box that will allow you to reach the next level.

You'll be looking for Super Bricks next so you can build the cable-car that will take you across to the final area. On the ground level, switch to your Miner disguise and remove the boulders blocking the small red building, then break in with your Robber disguise for the first brick. Then, climb up on the box you built earlier and break the stack of boulders on the left to find another small brick. Next, climb and shimmy along the blue pipe to the right.

Smash the objects here to build a catapult and launch yourself up. Shimmy along the pipe on the wall to the right for another brick, then use your grapple gun to pull down the bridge on the left.

Climb up to the next level and cross the blue plank to find a torch which you can use to blow some dynamite and clear the path forward. Jump up, then swing across the poles to the right, and climb the studs on the wall to grab the next brick.

Zip-line down to the next platform and grab the large brick there, then smash the boulders below that to find one more. Now you should have enough to build the cable car.

Ride the cable car over to the other side and climb the studded wall, avoiding the falling boulders. Next, grapple up to the area with the rock-smasher and climb the wall. Jump on to the conveyor belt and avoid the red-hot boulders.

Beat up the the criminals in the next area, then smash several objects to find the bricks necessary to build a dynamite machine. Blow up the port-a-potty and build its pieces into a new catapult. Launch up on top of the shack and drop down inside where you'll find a safe. Open it up to end the mission.

Character Token: Ross Wilding

At the beginning of the level, use Chase's grapple gun on the floating platform to the left to uncover the token.

Police Shield Piece 1

Just to the right of the character token, you'll find a pile of boulders. Smash them to uncover the shield piece.

Police Shield Piece 2

To get the second piece, you'll need to put out five trash can fires in the first area. Use the images below to find their locations.

Vehicle Token: Dumper

Climb up to the area in the back-left corner of the first area and use your Astronaut disguise to boost over the metal roof where you'll find a color swapper. Head back to the left and shoot the color target, then jump down and ride the elevator up to the token.

Character Token: Spikey Don

In the middle of the first area, use your Construction Worker disguise to repair the giant drill. After it drains the water there, use your Robber disguise to pull up the man-hole and find the token inside.

Vehicle Token: Steadfast

Use your Astronaut disguise to boost on top of the locked elevator and grab the box of components. Drop them onto the green pad below and build the pieces into the elevator. It will then bring the token up to you.

Police Shield Pieces 3 & 4

As you traverse the last sections of this area, you'll find five yellow crystals on the walls and four bird cages. Smash and open them respectively to nab the last two pieces of the Police Shield.

Red Brick: Unlimited Dynamite

In the last area, use your Farmer disguise to fly over to the left where you'll find a replica of the Donkey Kong scaffolding. Ascend the ladders while avoiding the boulders to reach the brick.

Plot summary [ ]

This mission begins during Chapter 13 - Secrets when Chase McCain and Professor Kowalski enter Forrest Blackwell's Mansion to rescue Natalia Kowalski . McCain and Kowalski decide to split up to search for Natalia.

After making his way inside Blackwell's Mansion, McCain meets up with Professor Kowalski. Neither has managed to find Natalia, but McCain's activities in Blackwell Mansion have revealed Forrest Blackwell 's plans.

A large crowd is gathering Downtown at Blackwell Tower , where Blackwell has promised a major announcement. McCain realizes that Blackwell Tower is a giant rocket, which Blackwell plans to fly to the moon, where he'll use Professor Kowalski's containment bubbles to begin a new society.

McCain realizes that the exhaust from the rocket launch will fry everyone within about ten blocks, so he calls Ellie Phillips , who has been attending to gathering at Blackwell Tower, to warn her to clear the area. She attempts to do so and starts a minor panic.

Meanwhile McCain and Kowalski exit Blackwell's Mansion without having found Natalia. Kowalski asks McCain to go to his building in the Auburn Docks to retrieve his working prototypes of the containment bubbles. Kowalski plans to use them to contain the rocket exhaust and prevent people from being hurt.

Kowalski flies off in the UFO , ending both Breaking and Reentering and Secrets , and beginning Chapter 14 - Savings and Loans .

From the third floor, slide down the tight rope and cross over to the teleportation pad. Use it, then, inside the case with the cacti, smash the sandcastle on the left to reveal this token.

Forrest Blackwell Casual [ ]

On the next to highest floor, use Rex to pull open the orange-handled crate. Inside you'll find this token.

Vehicles [ ]

Dullahan [ ].

Look for a manhole cover to the left of the mansion and pry it open to reveal this token.

Inside the door you have to chop through, head to the right and smash the furniture there to find this token.

Police Shields [ ]

Police shield #1 [ ].

Douse five torches all around the outside of Blackwell's mansion to unlock this first shield piece.

Police Shield #2 [ ]

To obtain the second shield piece, you must water three green planters scattered around the first area.

Police Shield #3 [ ]

Also scattered around the first area are three unique boulders. Smash them all to uncover the third shield piece.

Police Shield #4 [ ]

Inside Blackwell's mansion, find three red and white targets. Shoot them all to obtain this piece. One is on the wall to the left, one is above the sliding puzzle of Blackwell, and the last is hidden behind some books just below the puzzle painting.
