A home is a place that gives comfort to everyone. It is because a home is filled with love and life. Much like every lucky person, I also have a home and a loving family. Through My Home Essay, I will take you through what my home is like and how much it means to me.

A Place I Call Home

My home is situated in the city. It is not too big nor too small, just the perfect size. My family lives in the home. It comprises of my father, mother, sister and grandparents. We live in our ancestral home so my home is very vintage.

It is very old but remains to be super strong. There are six rooms in my home. Each family member has a unique room which they have decorated as per their liking. For instance, my elder sister is a big fan of music, so her walls are filled with posters of musicians like BTS, RM, and more.

Our drawing room is a large one with a high ceiling. We still use the vintage sofa set which my grandmother got as a wedding gift. Similarly, there is a vintage TV and radio which she uses till date.

Adjoining the drawing room is my bedroom. It is my favourite room because it contains everything that I love. I have a pet guinea pig which lives in a cage in my room. We also have a storeroom which is filled with things we don’t use but also cannot discard.

Our lawn in front of the house has a little garden. In that garden , my mother is growing her own kitchen garden. She is passionate about it and brings different seeds every month to grow them out and use them in our food.

The fondest memories I have in a place is my terrace. Our terrace is huge with many plants. I remember all the good times we have spent there as a family. Moreover, we play there a lot when my cousins come over. Thus, every nook and corner of my home is special to me.

Appreciation Towards My Home

I know a lot of people who do not have homes or not as big as mine. It makes me more grateful and appreciates my home more. Not everyone gets the fortune to have a good home and a loving family, but luckily, I have been blessed with both.

My home is situated on Mahatma Gandhi Road; which lies in the New colony. Formerly, it was a common locality, and now it has completely turned into a high-class location.

We are very delighted with this house. Hence, I can state that happiness relies on the mindset of a household and not on the size of your home or other ownerships that we have. My house has a courtyard on both right and left side when watched from Verandah. Behind our house, there is another similar house. On both sides likewise, we have houses of next-door neighbors.

I reside in this small house. It has three-bedrooms, one dining room, one long kitchen, and one Guest Room beside a bathroom and toilet.

Home Goods and Construction Material:

My house is made of brick concrete, though high-grade marble houses are now rather typical in this Area. It is an old one and requires few repairs. My mother says that she will one day pull it down and construct a brand-new one in its location.

Since we have no cars and truck and have a scooter just, we have no parking issue. We park my bike in the left side of the verandah and therefore it remains safeguarded against sun and shower.

My moms and dads share one bed-room and I have the other bed-room where all home goods near me are available. I think, my space is quite all right for my requirements, though it likewise includes a closet in a part of it; where the clothes of all the three members of the family are put.

My Feeling has Strong Attachement to My Home

My family wants to reconstruct it. I, however, like my house and do not want that it should ever be demolished. I have, certainly, grown obsessed with it. Off all my teachers, I have the greatest regard for Sh. Bhuwan Joshi. He is a well-built, smart, and fairly tall personality. He is reputed to be the best Chemistry teacher in the State, though he can teach English and Mathematics as well.

He believes that work has not killed anybody so far; it is the lack of work or shirking work that brings about ruin in body and mind.

His health is excellent and advises us to pay as much attention to our bodies as to our mind. He does not like book-worms and will press everybody to take regular exercise and play games daily.

Our school enjoys great reputation in games and athletics. Last year in the tournament, it won all the trophies excepting that in Volleyball.

Again, he is a good speaker. In meetings and functions, he always ahead in participating in such activity and also encourage students to take initiative.

In every important matter, the joint director of Education, Delhi, seeks his counsel. These are the qualities that make him different from the rest of the teachers.

In short, he is the most popular figure not only in school but also in the education department .
